I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1760: 24.21 Sixth Violet Star - Pei Jin

An urgency caused by the existence of chaos flowers and energy made everyone nervous. The God of Destruction didn’t want another world to turn to a land of madness due to that energy of chaos. Just one being of life being affected by this energy meant downfall for this world. They should be thankful to the Chaos Guardian that had appeared in the garden. It was because of it that they were able to find those flowers before a breakout took place. That area must be completely isolated or be absorbed instead.

The God of Destruction said, ”This news about the chaos flowers can either be a good one or a bad one.”

”What do you mean?” asked the Sovereign of Void and Darkness.

Ye Xiajie also didn’t want another world to be manifested by such tyrannical energy. Moreover, once it begins, the energy is easily passed as well. Like an out of control virus, which would cause insanity to spread in the whole world. Plus, with the existence of the Ancient God of Chaos, this energy will get even stronger. That is until it was absorbed by Hunluan or himself.

Hei Anjing said, ”It is good news for Hunluan. As long as he absorbs this chaotic energy his soul will get stronger. As for the reason that it was bad news, one mistake to spread a single flower of chaos was enough to give birth to countless wars and allow an insane individual to be born. It would be endless and the only way to prevent this power from spreading in the universe is to...”

”Destroy the star and let the energy perish completely with the world.”

The one who completed the God of Destruction’s words is none other than the Sovereign of the Void and Darkness. It was actually so easy for him to notice it. After all, he had witnessed worlds ending up in such a way. He is also one of the gods who destroy the world to keep the energy from spreading.

The God of Destruction said, ”Yes. That can be the only ending once the chaotic energy spreads in this world. I wanted to visit that barren land itself. But you can’t come...”

”Why is that? Aren’t the effects of chaos on me less than the others?” said Ye Xiajie.

Hei Anjing said, ”That is correct for the adult you and your god form. However, at thi moment, as a baby your body is weak. That vessel is not yet matured. It is better not to have contact with chaos energy at this moment.”

”Are you going to go right now?”

asked the Sovereign of Void and Darkness.
The God of Destruction responded, ”Not right now. I might drop by in the evening to place a formation to isolate the whole garden. You cannot come with me.”

Sigh~

”Seriously, being a baby is so inconvenient,” mumbles Ye Xiajie.

Hei Anjing chuckles at his lover’s expression of frown. If he was in an adult form this expression would either make him look stern and cold. Yet on a baby, it made him look cuter and lovable. The God of Destruction took him in his arms and rain kissed Ye Xiajie’s face. All of a sudden, they heard calls from the adult beastmen and the God of Destruction returned to his petite size and pushed the Sovereign of the Void and Darkness down to the picnic map which is now full of pillows and a blanket making it a small nest.

The Sovereign pretended to sleep on the pillows while hugging the small black fox in his embrace. This is the scene the adult beastmen had witnessed. They were seeing such cuteness as these two up as they were brought back to the village to eat lunch.

—

Meanwhile, with the help of the two systems, their group comes out of the ancient forest to look for the two seniors. The two wardens turn to their original forms and pretend as humans while looking for clues about where Hunluan and the world eater are. They lurked in the nearest city beside the Ancient Forest.

They had been pretending to be humans and were asking around. When they saw a human child lingering around the area where they are in.

Warden Yun Ming mumbles as he notices Long Juedi in the crowd.

”isn’t that the protagonist of this world?” He said.

The chief warden and the two systems looked at the young man and noticed that Warden Yun Ming’s words were right. This is indeed the protagonist of this world.

System Yang noticed the lingering aura around the child and thought that maybe he was sensing things wrongly. It wasn’t for the fact that they are in the black market area that Long Juedi would definitely not pass by them.

All of them noticed that terrifying aura of gluttony on him when he approached them. Because this aura is simply too scary and dangerous to be touched, the group simply decided to follow Long Juedi back to his place.

Long Juedi, who was looking around the black market of beast eggs were disappointed as the beast eggs right now were so rare thanks to the high demands on of. Unlike before where they can see beast eggs anywhere in this city. However, that is something that happened before the humans had offended the beastman race.

The young man mumbles looking so lethargic due to the sadness in his heart. He mumbles, ”No beast eggs again. Should I customize a mission?”

Long Juedi looked at the mission board not too far from him and noticed that this board was full of missions about helping them get a beast egg. But the mission involving the Ancient Forest was considered a death mission, there are hardly any humans accepting quests about beast egg retrieval. That’s why when Long Juedi was about to post his request, a lot of people started talking behind his back.

”Another rich fool!”

”Dreaming to get an egg from the Ancient Forest.”

”He is just wasting his money and time. There is hardly anyone who wants this kind of mission.”

”He looked quite rich but he is just a dreamer.”

”Stop bullying the child!”

The conversation around the area was heard by Long Juedi and grips on his mission request. He is now hesitating to post his mission. After all, he is being treated as a fool. Out of nowhere another young man who was wearing clothes that screams luxury appeared before Long Juedi. The young protagonist frowned upon seeing this young man’s eyes. This young man is the villain of this world. He is called Pei Jin, he is from the family of Pei that lead the other faction that goes against the rule of he marshal.

Pei Jin spoke, sounding so sarcastically, ”Who do we have here? The loser who didn’t even have a contract beast~”

”What the hell do you want? Fuck off, Pei Jin!” Shouted Long Juedi back.

The young man, Pei Jin, enjoyed seeing this look on Long Juedi. It gives him the feeling that he is above the person in front of them. He felt excited thinking that he stood above Long Juedi who was considered his fated enemy in this world.

Hahaha~

”Long Juedi, how about you just give up becoming a beast master? Not only you do not have a beast to sign with. Those precious eggs from the auction are even duds. How unlucky you are that your hatchin ceremony was cancelled~” said Pei Jin with a smirk on his face.

Long Juedi wanted to fight back against Pei Jin when suddenly a loud exclamation coming from behind them was heard from the crowd.

”What the hell!? He is seeking death!”

”Quite down, Young Master Pei. Once the beast hatched from the egg, I looked after it for me.”

”Someone just took that deadly request!”

Everyone watched as the Chief Warden, Lou Wuye, looked at the young protagonist of the world. He said, ”Are you the one who posted this custom mission about getting an egg of a beast in the ancient forest.”

”Y-Yes,” Long Juedi panicked for a moment and met the cold eyes of the Chief Warden.

Warden Yun Ming pulled away his lover who was scaring the kid and said to Long Juedi. ”Ignore his scary face. However, my lover didn’t mean bad things. We just wanted to clarify about this egg you requested.”

”It was indeed me who posted that mission. Please go and ask as you wish,” answered Long Juedi. ”Is there a problem with my request?”

”Well not really. We just want to check if this beast egg request of yours must be any type of beast egg as long as it was a beast egg. Your egg request, any kind of beast egg as long as it’s alive?” Warden Yun Ming said.

Long Juedi said, ”Yes, I don’t care as long as it’s a beast egg. Any kind of beast egg is acceptable.”

”Haha~ give up trying to gain an egg Long Juedi!” said Pei Jin, This young master of the Pei Clan is still taunting as always.

The two wardens and Long Juedi ignore Pei Jin and reach a conclusion.

”Alright. We will accept this mission. Since their detailed request about the beast egg, the young man had been cleared. Excuse us, we will contact you again when his mission has been completed,” said the Chief Warden as he and Yun Ming walks away.
