I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1768: 24.29 Sixth Violet Star - Warning and Unexpected Guests

The Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan and the World Eater, An Shizhe asked the Long Clan what they wished for them to lend a hand for. The letter that was passed through them was extremely important to them. This is the first letter that allows them to know that their son had found them. Though as gods they are able to do as they wish, they tried not to do so. After all, they are undergoing some kind of trial in which they need to follow some kind of rules.

It’s already worrying that when they are supposed to get their memories sealed in this world, they wake up without a change. Now there is news about the existence of chaos flowers in this world which meant that chaos had already been here even before they arrived. Chaos is an existence that is beyond the world’s control. Only Hunluan who was born from it had the capability to control chaos. Even the God of Destruction, well known for his strength, can’t say he can fully control such an unpredictable thing.

Now that they were informed of the location where the chaos flowers are found, Hunluan and An Shizhe can go there anytime. Of course, it can wait until An Shizhe can walk using his vessel in this world. They might be able to use their God form but fighting using it can cause destruction of this world. Divinity is too powerful to be used in a lower realm world unless it is a high grade world, it can easily destroy weak stars.

The world they are in is a Mid-tier World. They can use a bit of divinity but it’s impossible to use it every time. At least they wouldn’t do so unless they are willing to fail their trial and all the rewards they got from the last world to be void. Once it failed, the possibility of the world eater falling in the same state of insanity like in his previous life is higher.

They also didn’t want to owe this mortal family too much. The fact that they were placed in this family which is connected to the world protagonist says things otherwise. It seems the world is openly seeking their help to survive. This is also the reason why they are helping this clan that the protagonist is from.

The old marshal, Long Huang, didn’t expect another favor from these two unique and powerful beasts. The fact that his crippled legs which their world couldn’t heal returned to normal was thanks to these two. It can be said that thanks to that ability that he now reveres them. Now given another chance to ask for help, Long Huang decided not to waste it.

Long Huang said, ”Lord, I would like to talk about it with my family first.”

”Alright. Just come over if you need something,” said Hunluan.

The Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan, was no longer interested in these human adults after these words and looked at Long Juedi. To be precise he is looking at an egg in the child’s embrace. He can feel a bit of divinity in it. Not the same divinity as theirs which was rejected by the world but one that was born in this world.

Hunluan returned to his beast form and a large silver furred winged tiger had appeared in place of his human form. He sat back where his and An Shizhe’s nest was and rested. Of course, if Hunluan can notice the strangeness of that egg in Long Juedi’s hand, he also would.

The World Eater said, ”Brat, let me see that egg in your possession.”

Long Juedi was not frightened by these two beasts in his mind, these two are his friends whom he brought home from the auction the first time. Moreover, he is too young to understand that these two beasts are different from the ones his elders have. He ran towards them and gave his beloved egg for An Shizhe to hold. Seeing a human toddler with round black lion ears holding the egg simply looks adorable. Hunluan couldn’t help but smile at the scene.

Meanwhile, An Shizhe checked the eggs and noticed that it was directly connected to the heavenly laws of this world and sneered. It seems that the heavens of this world are spoiling their beloved son of heavens.

The world eater said, ”Brat, rejoice! Once this beast pet of yours is promoted to its peak strength, you should be able to recreate organs and generate limbs.”

The adults of the Long Family were speechless with what they heard,

”Well once it hatches it should at least be at silver grade thanks to its pure bloodline. That much can heal wounds at will and deep wounds once in a while,” An Shizhe said as he returned the egg to the boy.

The world eater added, ”This is the best support type beast for you. For now, that should be enough. Before this year ends, we will bring you to the barren land to find the most suitable main beast for you. Wait for a little while longer. Wait until I can walk instead of crawling.”

”This egg should be hatching soon. You should take good care of it. It needs a place that has a holy feeling. You should create a holy altar or a temple for it,” Hunluan said. ”This beast can only be contracted by the brat. Whoever tries to steal it will suffer a backlash worse than before. This beast egg is fated to be his and no one else.”

The human adults listen to the advice of the two beasts. They shiver when they hear the threat from the two beasts. Because the attempt of stealing eggs had happened once, these two unique beasts had given them a warning once again. This made the old marshal and the current marshal couldn’t help but look at Long Kian who was sweating in buckets due to guilt. Of course he had no intention of doing it for the second time. His son almost lived his life as an idiot because of that one time and he himself didn’t want to become one himself.

Hunluan said, ”You guys can go back. There might be some guests for us but do not mind them. They won’t be staying for so long. Also... avoid going to the barren lands for now. Something beyond your control is happening there. Unless you want to regret it, do not head to the center of the barren lands.”

”Is it a bad thing for humans?” The marshal, Long Tian asked.

Hunluan answered, ”It’s bad for every race. For every living things in this world.”

The Long family come out of the manor with serious expressions on their faces. They never would have expected that something dangerous for all the races to exist in the Barren Lands. They suddenly had thoughts that maybe, the reason the beast race is attacking the human lands was all because they wanted to leave the barren lands.

Long Kian asked the old marshal. ”Father, do you think the beast race is fighting for our land because they wanted to leave the barren lands?”

”That might be one of the reasons. However, the beast race hated the human race because of the contract we use to control them. Though most beastmasters only sign with the beast through eggs, there is another way of signing a contract. That’s a master-slave contract. It is completely different from the equal contract we shared with our beasts. It’s a contract that doesn’t require an egg to sign with. Is the worst type of force contract and beast were treated as tools instead of partners,” said Long Huang.

Long Tian asked, ”Should I ask our people to check the core region of the barren land, father?”

”No. There is no need to risk our people. Give them a warning to retreat from the inner region. Based on the reactions of the Beast Lords, whatever is in that place was something out of our control. It can also mean that there isn’t a way to block it or get one to return to normal once affected. No matter what, we can’t take the risk,” said the old marshal, Long Huang.

Long Kian asked, ”What about the Tower Master’s request?”

”Try to buy some more time. Since their situation isn’t urgent, let them wait. For a traitor, there is no need to indulge them,” Long Huang said as he recalled the painful past when he was at his lowest and was kicked down by the people he trusted only to be betrayed in the end.

They were on their way back to the main mansion when they saw two people suddenly appear not far from the manor. It startled them enough when they didn’t notice them until they got so close and saw them with their own eyes.

Long Tian was immediately in a fighting state and stood before the ground. While Long Kian protected his father and nephew, leaving the front to his brother.

The current marshal asked, ”Who are you? How did you enter the territory!?”

”Be at ease, human. We didn’t come here for you,” the Chief Warden said.

Among their group, Long Juedi recognized the two who appeared before them.

He said, ”It’s the uncles who gave me the beast egg!”
