I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1767: 24.28 Sixth Violet Star - Receiver of the Letter.

After sending the tower master of the Mercenary Tower away, the current marshal, Long Tian and his brother, Long Kian, looked at their father, Long Huang the old marshal. They knew who their old man was going to ask about the letter. It is most likely those strange beasts staying at the detached manor. Those two seem to be quite knowledgeable about some strange things. Maybe they knew something about the language in this letter.

” Are you going to visit there?” asked Long Tian.

Long Kian said, ”I also want to go too.”

Seeing that the brothers are about to brawl again, the old marshal can only say, ”We will all go after dinner!”

”Jue’er and Teng’er included?” The current marshal asked.

The old marshal said, ”Yes. I want the egg to be checked.”

The Long family had a family dinner with all of them including their wives present on the table. It was only after dinner that they asked the women of their family to prepare for bed while they visited the detached manor. At least everyone in the clan knew about the existence of those two special beasts in their clan. The fact that these beasts were brought by Long Juedi as eggs was also known by them. However, they made sure that no one outside the family would know about them.

At the detached mansion...

Hunluan and An Shizhe were cultivating in their human forms. Though they wouldn’t accelerate the growth of their bodies, the world seems to allow them using their god forms. If not for that permission, the two wardens wouldn’t be able to pretend as mercenaries. Time is needed for their bodies in this world to mature. Though those who are born as a beast have no problem with reaching their mature form as soon as they come out as eggs. What needs to grow is the strength of their bodies and be promoted in a higher evolution.

The World Eater noticed the presence coming over to their direction and said, ”Annoying. These mortals are here again.”

”We are living under their roof. It is only right to help them sometimes. At least until your vessel is able to go out,” said Hunluan, the Ancient God of Chaos.

The Long family visited the pair that lived in the detached mansion. They were waiting at the door until a cold voice lingered in their ears allowing them to come inside.

”Go in. The door is not locked.”

The family of Long was used to this and entered the house as they were given permission to do so. Aside from the three adults, there is only Long Juedi with them. As for Long Teng he didn’t come with them as he was still afraid of what happened the last time he had sneaked in the mansion and tried to force a contract with those monsters.

Long Kian was annoyed by his son but his decision, even so, he didn’t force the child. After all, the pain of backlash from a broken contract is indeed traumatic. If not for the fact that he was cured by these special beings, Long Teng would have remained an idiot for the rest of his life. That was his fault though.

As they entered the mansion, they saw the huge nest they made for the two beasts that lived in this house. Even though one of them is a beastman cub no different from the size of a human cub, the matured beast, Hunluan is different. His original size was just as large as an adult human at first. But he started his growth period and evolution without them knowing how and his size increased at least half of a room’s size and he is still growing. They didn’t know how he was able to shrink its size at all.

Long Huang in lead, he greeted the two beasts politely. After all, regardless of race, only power and strength speak loud in this world.

”We greet Lord Hunluan and Lord An!”

The two had given them their realm names as there is no need to hide it at all.

Hunluan spoke human language in response to their greetings and didn’t beat the bush. Asking them straightforwardly what they come for.

”What would you like us to do? Tell us first and we shall decide after hearing your request,” said the Ancient God of Chaos.

Long Huang didn’t waste time and pulled out the letter that was given to Long Juedi after giving him his beast egg. The moment Hunluan and An Shizhe saw the letter their interest were immediately pique and before their eyes, the huge silver furred winged tiger morphed into a human, shocking everyone from the Long Clan left dumbfounded by the scene.

Their eyes were round as an egg as they looked at the gorgeous looking cold faced man informed of their eyes. If not for the pair of inhuman eyes looking at them they would have thought that he is a human. Carrying a baby boy in his arms he approached the stunned old marshal.

They can actually feel the aura of gods coming from the letter and it was the aura of those two subordinates that served their son and his husband. The letter is most likely from them. Long Huang failed to react when the boy, An Shizhe, took the letter from his hand and opened it immediately.

As expected the letter was written in ancient language which only the gods can read. The first part of the message was about informing them that they are in the ancient forest with their lords and was unsure if this letter will be read by them. The second part was about the appearance of the chaos flower in the barren lands. They were asking what should be done as Lord Hei told them to seek their advice instead. Upon reading this part, Hunluan and An Shizhe smile helplessly. Their son hasn’t changed at all.

He is lazy and wouldn’t move if there is someone else who can do the job for him. He is like a salted fish that isn’t willing to move unless lifted by someone. Moreover his other half was indulging him, no wonder they left the two wardens for them to order around.

The last part of the letter made them frown. It was about the destined villain seeming either a transmigrator or a reincarnator targeting the protagonist, Long Juedi. They felt something is amiss about the young man and he had a strong scent of blood around him at such a young age.

Hunluan and An Shizhe looked at the innocent boy hugging an egg in his arms. The letters in their arms were burnt to ashes and finally looked at the Long Family waiting for the explanation.

The World Eater, An Shizhe, spoke, ”That letter was address to us from our people there is no need to worry about. That support type beast egg was a gift from them. From time to time, you will see them finding us for something. The contents of the letter had nothing to do with you. If you have any other requests then you can say so now.”

”That... is it possible for humans to go into the ancient forest now?” Long Kian asked. His tone and posture are respectful despite talking to a baby boy.

The World Eater answered, ”No. Do you want to die?”

”But the pair who gave the beast egg to my son and the letter got the beast egg from the ancient forest,” said Long Tian.

The World Eater, An Shizhe, sneered. ”Who told you that they are humans?”

This question had stunned the adults from the Long Clan and once they realized what An Shizhe’s word meant, their faces turned pale. Whether it was in shock or because of fright no one knows. But they now looked at Hunluan’s human form with understanding in their eyes. It seems that beasts are capable of morphing as a human at a certain level and this greatly horrified them. Because this means a high level beast can pretend to be human and enter the human city secretly. If they wanted to destroy things from the inside it would be easy for them to eliminate the human race.

As if reading the thoughts of the human in front of them, Hunluan said, ”Don’t worry. Not all beasts can transform into humans. As for those two whom Juedi had met, they are from our side. They will not harm you. If you are in danger and see them outside you can ask for their help. Like us, they are also victims of the laboratory.”

Once the Laboratory was mentioned, the old marshal feels guilty. After all, it was during his reign that those foolish had done such a thing and it was something he didn’t know until things had blown over.

Hunluan ignored the guilt on the human’s face and said, ”Don’t worry. We don’t hate humans because of what happened. We are at least not your enemies.”

Long Jia didn’t feel better because of his words. They might not hate them as they weren’t the ones who had caused them their pain. But the fact that the humans had done such a thing cannot be forgotten as well.

Hunluan asked, ”If there are other requests you can ask for it now. As long as it wasn’t beyond our means we will lend a hand.”
