I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1797: 24.58 Sixth Violet Star - Back to the Ancient Forest

Mo Minkong and the rest of them finally reached the wooden walls which toweringly separates the human lands and the ancient forest. Vega, Heri, Haerin and the cotton candy stall owner all stare at the colossal wall that appeared before their eyes.

The Elf, Vega, commented, ”This wall is taller than I expected. There is a powerful elemental energy in this wall. The type that no matter how many times you destroy it, it would recover on its own.”

”Beastmen Shaman cannot control beasts or possess inhuman strength. But their compatibility with world energy is unparalleled,” said Heri.

Haerin asked, ”But if there is a wall, how can we go inside?”

”It’s alright little one. My brother can make a hole in it!” The God of Destruction said.

He even shared his cotton candy to the young girl, Haerin. ”Here. Eat with me~”

”Thank you, beautiful little brother!” Haerin said.

Mo Minkong looked at his eldest cub who nodded at him and another small black flame appeared above his palms. The moment this obsidian flame appeared, Vega, an elf who is sensitive in nature, abruptly jumped in front of his partner and daughter. He felt extreme danger coming from the black flame.

”What kind of flames is that? How come... It feels too dangerous!?” Vega exclaimed.

The God of Destruction said, ”Brother, wrong fire again. We can’t use that.”

”Oh? I forgot. I’m used to using it. I can use an ordinary flame instead. You don’t need to use ice to prevent the fire from spreading. I will use a cold flame,” said the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness. The black flames above his hand had turned white.

This white flame doesn’t look dangerous and seems to emit a cold qi. However, even if one isn’t touching it, they still know that this is another type of fire. Mo Minkong recognized it and so did Hei Anjing.

Mo Minkong said, ”Ice Flames. Xiao Ye can you use all types of flames?”

”Isn’t that normal?” Ye Xiajie.

The adults in the crowd were speechless. There are lots of them who control the element of fire, but they couldn’t change its type and only use one kind of flame their whole life.

They collectively thought of the same thing: ’No! That’s not normal!’

”I’m going to open a hole now,” said the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness.

However, before Ye Xiajie threw the fire towards the wooden wall, the towering wall, especially the part in front of them, shrunk at a very fast pace. Once a small part of the wooden wall had collapsed, a small path towards the ancient forest was exposed. Before them stood a row of Beastmen Shaman and the one who stepped forward to welcome them in was none other than the beastmen race’s leader, Hezi.

The humans who are watching from a distance were amazed by such an event. A gorgeous beastman with white ninetail fox stood before Mo Minkong and others. He looks so similar to how Heri looks just a bit more mature and colder in sense.

The two cubs immediately called, ”Dad (Daddy)!”

The God of Destruction reached out his hand towards Hezi and was finally picked by his daddy. Ye Xiajie wanted to leap in his dad’s arms as well but his father stopped him.

Mo Minkong said to his eldest cub, ”Your dad can carry you two together. You’ve grown bigger than before.”

Ye Xiajie glares at his father and snorts. In reality, he is pouting but didn’t push through to his wants. He had indeed gotten heavier.

Snorts!

Hezi chuckles as he pats his eldest cub’s head and says to his mate. ”I think you have played enough in the human city. I’ve felt your aura, did you fight?”

”Not really. Just a few blind ants dare to bite. Your brother was almost killed,” said Mo Minkong as he kissed his wife’s cheeks.

They look like such a loving couple from a distance. No one would have believed these two were such a power couple if not for experiencing the massacre a few months ago or that overbearing aura that suppressed them just now.

Heri stepped forwards after his brother-in-law had mentioned him. He still showed fear towards this elder brother of his, especially that cold face of his.

He calls, ”Big brother... I...”

Before he could complete his words his forehead suddenly flicked and the sounds seemed too painful.

Flick!

Heri said, ”Ah! Hurts!!!”

”You finally know how to come back. We will talk later at home. Follow us home,” said Hezi.

Heri was delighted that his brother isn’t treating him strange after all these years. In the first place, Hezi never placed the humans in the area in his eyes. He was ignoring them. Though it was quite hard to ignore that the old marshal’s son, Long Tian was also around and that his family wasn’t attacked by them.

He didn’t worry at all that his family was out in the human city. With the strength of his mate this small city can be easily destroyed by him in his real form. He isn’t the Beast God for no reason. His power and divinity can back him up for everything.

Mo Minkong said, ”Wife, I had chosen one human with a good heart to enter the ancient forest for hunting. He is just one person. He said he is doing it for the sake of his children and put his life on line just for one mercy from me. I gave it.”

Hezi’s eyes wandered and found the only human among the group. The cotton candy stall owner shivers under the beastman leader’s gaze and immediately kneels down. However, what he didn’t know was that the split second he met Hezi’s eyes his past was read through by him. Thankfully, he was telling the truth and also declined all the other humans’ pleas to help them get a beast egg for them as well.

Hezi spoke, ”He is telling the truth.”

”You’ve seen it?” Mo Minkong said.

Hezi nodded his head and said, ”He even ignored the words of the other humans asking him to look for a beast egg for them. You’ve chosen well enough. He is indeed a loving father of three children.”

”So, what is his payment?” He asked.

When this question was asked, Mo Minking averted his eyes and looked at the youngest in his mate’s embrace. He was wordlessly staring at the cotton candies in Hei Anjing’s hand.

Hezi instantly understood what happened and his face turned dark. Before Mo Minkong could escape his ears were pinched by his wife.

Hiss!

”Are you kidding me?! The payment is for cotton candies?! Even if Jing’er likes it you can’t make such a losing deal,” Hezi said.

Mo Minkong hissed in pain and said, ”But Jing’er and the cubs like it. I couldn’t help it. Moreover, it’s just one time!”

”Hmp! Fine!” Hezi said as he finally looked at the cotton candy seller and said, ”Only until dawn and you aren’t allowed to destroy the forest at the center of the forest. Before the sun rises, you will be automatically sent out. Your life and death depends on you alone. Do you have a problem with this?”

”N-No. Thank you very much!” The cotton candy seller said.

Hezi said, ”Follow inside. We need to raise the walls again!”

”Yes. Yes!”

They were all about to leave when the silent Marshal spoke up unexpectedly.

Long Tian was speaking politely to the Beastman Leader, Hezi. He said, ”Please wait. Give me a moment!”

The moment the beastmen heard his words, they all glared at the human marshal. Their intention is obvious, if this human marshal tries to harm their leader then they will go berserk and do everything to kill him. Just as the warriors were about to surround their leader and his family for protection, Hezi made a gesture for them to calm down.

Hezi spoke up, ”What is it that you need, Human marshal?”

”I would like to propose a ceasefire between our two races,” said Marshal Long Tian.

At the subject of the ceasefire, Hezi finally turned around to look at the human marshal. Such a sensitive subject, he couldn’t understand why this human marshal is proposing such a thing. Even though the humans and the beastmen had no direct conflict like with the beast race at this moment, the relationship between the two races cannot be considered peaceful as well.

Hezi narrowed his fox eyes making the humans feel a bit of coercion. With some soldiers on guard around the marshal but they didn’t dare to attack. In the first place, there is a beast god on the other side. Not only that, there are also two young beast kings as well. Unless they are seeking death, attacking is not possible.

Hezi asked, ”Why do you think I will agree to such things?”

”Cubs. Three mixed ones. Your niece is also half elf, she will be in the right age to go to school next year. They need proper education. Only the human race has a systematic educational program to teach them to become literate. Also children need playmates,” Marshal Long Tian said.

He added, ”You cubs might not need it but your niece needs it.”

Heri, who knew about the distant future, grabbed his elder brother’s sleeves. Even though he didn’t say a word, as Hezi’s younger brother his ability of future foreseeing is well known in the beastmen race. His title as a prophet is not a joke. The fact that he had never been wrong before meant his ability is legit. Even the elders who wanted to retort shut up when they saw the prophet make a move.

Hezi said, ”Before the year end, arranged a meeting at the boundaries of two lands.”

After saying these words the wooden walls that shrunk had once again grown covering the area where the group of Mo Minkong had passed through and the towering wall was once again flawless.
