I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1770: 24.31 Sixth Violet Star - Report

The two wardens and the two systems told all the details they had seen at the core area of the barren lands. The cluster of chaos flowers which are about to bloom and the black creature who possessed at least godhood protecting the land. Even though chaos energy is a natural energy which is good for the development of the star, and wouldn’t affect things that grew from it, it is a different story when flowers were born from it. Chaos flower growing in one place meant that this world had enough negative energy which attracted the chaos energy to not merge with the world and instead materialized. Chaos flowers are chaos energy into shape from it.

This chaos flower is a plant that grew from chaos and is filled with pure chaotic energy that the living shouldn’t absorb or eat. After all, chaos energy is the most negative energy in existence yet positive at the same time. When both good and bad effects appeared on one thing, it was never a good thing. It’s like gaining something you truly wanted only to be killed or taken away by it. Most living beings who absorb this energy, regardless of it being voluntary or accidentally, they all gone insane and gain power which is considered the peak strength of one’s individual.

There are also beings who adapted to this energy and were reborn as Chaos Creatures. However, beings born from chaos had a strict hierarchy. Those who had gained the pures chaos energy and made it their own were considered chaos children. These are beings who took the form of a human and possessed attributes above ordinary gods and power stronger than an average divinities. The great example of this is the Mo Clan. There are gods that appeared out of nowhere possessing bloodline abilities that ordinary gods don’t possess and strength that made them different from other gods.

The chaos beings who were born weaker than chaos children are called chaos guardians. They exist to protect the land or area in which chaos energy accumulates. This is to prevent the spreading of this energy which usually instantly destroys a world once taken away by someone who isn’t supposed to have it. Chaos Guardians can be considered subordinates of the Chaos Children. They exist to serve them as their masters.

Above the Chaos Children are the Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan and his family members: the World Eater, An Shizhe and the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing. Between these three, Hunluan and Hei Anjing are not affected by the negative effects of the chaos energy while An Shizhe is supposed to be not affected by it as well, but due to his power of gluttony which strengthens by chaos energy, he still suffer backlashes when over using this power. But as long as he completed the Trial of Marriage and gained the marriage imprint this disadvantage will be gone as well.

The conversation within the detached manor continues.

Warden Yun Ming said, ”The flowers were budding and having completely sprouted yet.”

[However, compared to the other flower garden I saw with Lord Hei before, this one is especially powerful. It had an alluring scent that attracts all living things,] said System Zhi Yue.

System Zhi Yang said, [We would have been affected by it if we didn’t leave. But for mortal things, they will not be able to ignore it at all.]

”There is also a creature covered in darkness yet possessed divinity. It looks like a bear yet its strength is that of a High God. We left before it woke up and before the scent of the chaos flower affected us,” said the Chief Warden.

The Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan said, ”The one who has been seen might be a high ranked Chaos Guardian. These guardians possessed immortal physique. They cannot be killed unless you burn them to ashes or devour them fully.”

”Quite lucky you didn’t engage in a fight with it,” said the World Eater, An Shizhe.

The Chief Warden frowns and mumbles, ”No wonder it gave me an uncomfortable feeling.”

”Keep a hundred distance from the garden and keep an eye on it. Find a way to keep surveillance 24/7. I will give you something to keep the chaos energy isolated. It would only last for a day but once you use this, you need to contact us immediately. Once the chaos flower blooms even you guys will be affected,” said Hunluan.

The World Eater, An Shizhe said, ”You guys signed a life contract with your masters, right? Don’t worry. If you are affected by it. Killing you and resurrecting you will do the trick. I can end you swiftly.”

The smirk on Ancient Lord An Shizhe made the two wardens and systems sweat buckets. How can he be smiling when he was talking about killing them? Alright, he is definitely Lord Hei’s father. They are both ruthless and merciless. Killing while smiling.

After receiving a scroll from the Ancient God, Hunluan, four of them decided to leave. They decided to report to their lord one last time before once again heading back to the barren lands. They still need to report what the Ancient Lords had planned regarding the chaos flower whose existence is no different from a ticking bomb.

On their way out, World Eater, An Shizhe said, ”Tell Jing’er that we are alright. Once things have stabilized here we will go visit them in the ancient forest.”

”Tell him not to worry. Things are under control here,” Hunluan added.

Warden Yun Ming respectfully responded, ”I shall pass the words to my master. Please take care.”

”Oh, right. If you found a beast that is best suited to the protagonist of this world, keep watch. We don’t care what level. We wanted the best though. It is better to give the best so we won’t owe him anything in the future.” The World Eater, An Shizhe said.

Yun Ming, Lou Wuye, Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang keep this reminder in mind. They are going to the best place to find the beast egg, the barren land, where the beast race lives. Keeping an eye to some beasts wouldn’t be a problem.

After the four of them left, Hunluan and An Shizhe, who were their humanoid god form returned to their original vessels’ form in this world.

A winged silver furred tiger shrinks its size to look like a cub to match An Shizhe’s human cub form and them asked,

”Are you going to practice standing and walking today, A’Zhe?”

”Must do. As long as I can walk properly in this form, we can finally venture out of this manor,”

said the world eater, currently a beastman cub, in humanoid form.
He reached out to lean on Hunluan as he tried to stand up on his chubby pair of legs. His legs were wobbling as he put force on it as he tried to stand using only his strength. A toddler’s leg strength is unpredictable. It might be able to help one stand but also slip down bonelessly. This is because a cub’s bones are still soft and fragile.

As expected before, An Shizhe can straighten his legs properly, his legs suddenly buckle almost falling face first on the carpet under his feet. Thankfully, Hunluan bit his back collar preventing the embarrassing scene of the world eater falling onto his face. That scene can be considered a black history of this ancient god.

”Careful,” said Hunluan.

The world eater looked embarrassed as his chubby cheeks turned red as ripe tomatoes even so he looked determined and said,

”Let’s try it again!”

While the two old lovers were spending their time together in their detached manor, the ones in the main palace had gathered in the living room. The three adults were having tea while the two children had already gone to bed. Of course, it was reported that the two guests had taken their leave and were seen by the guards watching the manor.

Though the guards were hidden, they still saw Warden Yun Ming looking in their direction and waving his hand as he wore that gentle smile on his face. They disappeared afterwards and they reported the situation to their superiors waiting for the news.

The marshal, Long Tian, who just ended a call with his terminal, said to his father.

He said, ”The two left the premises of our territory and seem to be heading towards the direction of the ancient forest.”

”They are going back to the ancient forest? Do they live there or something? But that place is the beastman’s territory,” said Long Kian.

Long Tian said, ”Only humans are forbidden to enter the forest. If they are a beast then the beastmen race wouldn’t make a move on them.”

”Do not think too much. You have seen them yourself and saw the reactions of your partners. The fact that they don’t even start a fight and cower before them means they are stronger than us by a lot. Those two won’t become our enemies unless the two lords at the manor become our enemies. They called them lords, didn’t they?” The old marshal, Long Huang.

He added, ”Instead of worrying about something unknown, focus on Jue’er. His egg is the faith that might save our lives in the future. That’s a high-grade support type that has the best ability for healing. It seems to be able to regenerate limbs as long as it upgrades to the highest level.”

”I will ask people to make an altar within the territory,” said the marshal, Long Tian.

Long Kian thought for a while and said, ”Should I find some tools with holy effects to decorate the altar?”
