I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1798: 24.59 Sixth Violet Star - You almost died.

Once the towering wall had returned, the gap in which Mo Minkong and his group had entered had once again disappeared. Marshal Long Tian watches as the colossal wall made of wood shoots up towards the sky completely covering the other side. The other humans were also dazed for a while and they immediately spread the news of what happened. The events at that abandoned cafe until the scene of the wall separating two lands opening a gap.

There is also a fact that they learned today. The Ancient Forest’s leader, Hezi, the Ninetailed Fox Beastman had a mate and this mate is a Beast God that doesn’t live in the barren land but with the beastmen race. They also have two cubs and these cubs at such a young age are already Beast King level. Both were mixed breed cubs between the couple. There is also the hidden identity of Heri.

Who would have expected that the weak beastman who is married to a high elf was the biological younger brother of the beastman leader, Hezi. Upon seeing protection from his brother, he and his family were welcomed to the beastman village.

Vega was expecting some discrimination as someone from another race. However, maybe because he is married to a prophet and was not a human, the beastmen welcomed them happily. Haerin was the one who was welcomed like an important guest. The Beastmen race love cubs, Haerin, who is not even yet a young adult was treated so important in the village. Almost all adults in the area had given her a welcoming gift.

Hezi had settled them in a cave just beside his. This cave was cleaned up everyday with basic necessities. It was originally arranged for the friends of his cubs who would usually appear out of nowhere.

”Heri, you and your family can stay here for tonight. Tomorrow you can pick any land in the forest and let your mate make a house for you. I will send the cubs to accompany you around,” Hezi said to his younger brother after seeing his paleness and sickly figure.

”Thank you, big brother,” Heri said.

Hezi said, ”You don’t look good. I will send a witch doctor to check on you. How can you get so sick like this? Before you left the village you were as strong as an orc.”

”I’m sorry. It was my fault. He was poisoned by my enemies. I still haven’t found an antidote to cure it,” Vega said as he lowered his head before Hezi.

Without any hesitation, Hezi hit Vega on the head and said, ”Though I don’t applaud your uselessness for failing to protect Heri from this poison, all this time you had protected him and your daughter. Even losing your position as your tribe’s leader, that enough shows you care for Heri. It would have been better if you guys had come home earlier.”

”Yes. I was afraid that...”

”Do you, I will ignore you?! Even if this brat turned bald, I will recognize him! It’s not like you do not know how the beastmen treat their family!” Scolded Hezi.

Vega lowered his head as he was too embarrassed to meet his brother-in-law’s face. He actually didn’t believe that the beastmen would choose family over everything. Only when those two cubs from this village placed themselves in danger by exposing their identity amidst their enemies territory just for the sake of keeping them alive, he would have thought that his wife’s family still hated him.

Mo Minkong said, ”Alright don’t get angry anymore. The Witch doctor had arrived. Let him treat your brother first. I will ask the village to serve the dinner feast you had prepared.”

The darkness on Hezi’s face faded as he sat down to meet the little girl, Haerin’s line of sight and smiled at her.

”What is your name, little girl? I am your uncle, your father’s brother. You can call me Uncle Hezi. Take this as my gift. This is a support type beast egg and it’s the most suitable for you,” Hezi said.

A beast egg of an auxiliary type was given away as a gift to Haerin. Heri, who noticed what kind of beast egg it was, was stunned. This is a support type beast egg that not only can heal but also create a powerful barrier. A pixie type beast. A beast that can use nature spells.

Heri was stunned. ”Brother, no! This is a pixie type beast egg you prepare for your cub. Haerin can’t accept it.”

”What stupid thing are you thinking again? I heard from my mate what those two cubs of mine did in the human city. One is a born beast king, and the other is a beastman with the ability to wield elemental qi. Do you think they still need beasts?” Hezi retorted.

Only then did Heri and Vega recall the death scythe and that black flame, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness had used before. They gave up returning the beast egg. As for why no one is asking about the strength shown by the two cubs, Hezi believes it’s because they had inherited a bit of divinity from their Beast God father and were born with special abilities.

Hezi said, ”Alright. Settle yourselves first. Let the witch doctor check on you and I will have someone to call you over for dinner.” Only then did he leave them alone to help supervise the arrangement for dinner.

The feast that was arranged by Hezi was to welcome his mate to the village. Now that Heri and his family have returned, the feast must increase from its original content.

After Hezi and his family left, Heri, Vega and Haerin finally entered the cave. The place was looking quite empty except for the bedroom and kitchen with basic furniture. Living in a cave was a unique experience for Haerin. But for elves who live in treehouses, this cave felt a bit uncomfortable for Vega.

Heri noticed that and said, ”Bear with it for tonight, husband. Tomorrow we can build a treehouse to live in.”

”Don’t worry I am alright. This is the first time I don’t have to keep on guard with the surroundings as I no longer fear that some humans would sneak into our place and harm you,” Vega said as he sat at a stone chair and his stiff shoulders finally relaxed.

”Let me massage you,” said Heri.

Heri helped him massage his sore shoulders while Haerin sat on the stone bed covered in soft mattress staring at the egg his Uncle Hezi had given her. She can feel a pulse coming from inside the egg making her interested and delighted. Haerin knew about the beast eggs. Even though both her parents don’t use a beast to fight, she, who is destined to stand beside Long Juedi the protagonist of this world, had to live like a beastmaster.

Vega spoke, ”I’ve never expected that your brother-in-law’s mate is a Beast God. Did you know?”

”It is not possible for me to see through a god. However, I know that he truly loves my brother. The Ancient forest was something brother-in-law had found for him as a gift. That’s why the beastmen were able to live a life without getting involved with the humans and the beasts,” Heri said. ”Also I don’t know if it’s true or not. Brother-in-law had warned all beast kings in the Barren Land that they are forbidden to step foot in the ancient forest. Maybe because of this rare type of beasts choose to live here.”

”Indeed. As long as they don’t harm any beastmen, living here is no different than having a beast god’s protection,” Vega said.

He then recalled the conversation between Marshal Long Tian and Hezi before they reached the village. The appointment meeting to talk about cease fire between the two races, humans and beastmen.

Vega asked, ”That Cease fire meeting? Do you think it would happen?”

”It would. I have seen it happen when I’ve glimpsed the future just now. That’s the turning point for our daughter’s destiny,” Heri said. ”Either way, there is still a few months before that. It’s better to find a way to make our daughter stronger before that day.”

”I will handle it. Don’t worry, wife.” Vega said.

Meanwhile, at the Marshal’s Palace...

Marshal Long Tian had finally returned. The situation was resolved even without his interference. Seeing that his father had gone to the detached manor to check on the seniors, he had also come over and politely greeted them. He actually wanted to ask about the beast god and his family.

The old marshal, Long Huang said, ”You are finally back. Go, the seniors have been waiting for your return.”

As soon as Long Tian arrived before the elders, he greeted the two seniors who were sitting in the living room with his grandfather.

”Long Tian greets the seniors!”

The Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan and the World Eater, An Shizhe, were in their human form. They rarely remain in their real forms whenever there are visitors.

The World Eater, An Shizhe said, ”Stupid brat! You almost died. Did you know that?”

Hahaha~

Long Huang and Long Tian didn’t expect that Senior An’s first sentence would be this. The former didn’t know what happened but he knows that his son left to prevent the chaos in the city which involves the beastman. As for Long Tian, he was confused at first but recalled the young beastmen cub’s words about him being spared for a reason. Now it seems this had something to do with the seniors in front of him.

The old marshal asked, ”What does it mean?”

”He tried to kill two cubs and these two cubs just happened to be descendants of the Beast God. A sneak attack on others had a 50-50 possibility. But against those two you cannot kill them even if they stood without moving before you. You also pissed off the heartless one between the two,” Hunluan said.

The World Eater said, ”If I didn’t stop that brat on time you would be standing here before us right now.”

Hunluan’s voice suddenly turned cold and anger was eminent within his tone. ”He wouldn’t have cared much if you just targeted him. Why target a cub who lost consciousness?”

Long Tian and Long Huang shivered under this man’s murderous aura. At first they couldn’t understand the anger of this ancient god. But Long Tian’s eyes wander around and spot Xie Yun who is pretending to be mute just so not to get involved and recalled something that involves this man.

’The youngest ninetailed fox... Lord Hunluan’s son.’ The more Long Tian realized the more his face turned white.

He immediately prostrated himself before the two ancient gods and apologized.

”I am sorry!”
