I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1344: 19.3 Vearth - A Wardenʼs Responsibility

Tun Shizhe peered at the movements of the Void that completely encased that place, which he could not invade, somewhere within the cosmos. He can actually defeat Mo Baojun because, unlike the God of Light, Shen Siwang, he is not a born sovereign.

But he restrained his murderous intent upon recognizing the recognizable features that resembled those of Hunluan, and Shen Siwang and the End nearly killed him.

”That bastard locked in Hunluanʼs vessel for himself again! He truly shouldnʼt exist!!” Tun Shizhe muttered in rage.

There was a long sword slash on his left arm that sent forth scorching effects. He finds it inconceivable that he might be harmed by a simple sovereign made by the beginning and the end. He is a product of chaos. Despite not having complete control over everything in this universe, he is nonetheless able to exert control over it.

It should not have hurt him so badly because light components had left such a large wound. His sole goal while entering Vearth covertly was to remove Hunluanʼs corpse.

He finally understood something was wrong when he failed to do so and wound up. At that moment, Hunluan died with them, and the majority of his Chaos Power had combined with everything—all living things, all galaxies, and the universe. All the gods who were born after their deaths fall into this category. The mere thought of these creatures robbing his beloved of her strength made him furious.

He was unable to murder them all, even if he wanted to.

First, his strength is insufficient just now. Even the worthless soul core of their former selves eluded him. In addition, he fears going insane and killing Hunluan a second time. Gluttony is a power that cannot be placed on one person since it drives people insane, just as it once did. However, he found Tun Shizheʼs helplessness irritating.

”If only I am powerful enough that I can take Hunluan away. I need to eat more, the more I eat, the more of my power will return. Wait for me, Hunluan. I will make sure to wake you up.” Tun Shizhe once again disappeared amid countless galaxies and universes.

On the other hand, the two Sovereigns, Mo Baojun, and Shen Siwang, were on their way back to the Mo Palace.

On their way home, they take a cloud ride. Shen Siwang saw that his spouse was unusually silent and introspective. He was clueless as to Mo Baojunʼs concerns. He would grow accustomed to his wifeʼs longstanding prejudice against Hei Anjing. Hei Anjing, Mo Yue, and Hei Sianʼs parents left their son in their care since they were too preoccupied with their own research and jobs.

Shen Siwang asked, ”Wifey, what are you thinking about? Donʼt worry about Xiao Jingʼer; Xia is with him.”

”Thatʼs not what I am worried about. Hubby, did you notice something about Jingʼer?” Mo Baojun asked.

Bewildered for a moment, Shen Siwang responded, ”Isnʼt he the same as always?”

”For me, he seems to be more polite towards that brat, or is it just me?” Mo Baojun mumbles.

Shen Siwang chuckles, ”Isnʼt he always like that? Donʼt overthink. According to Xiao Jingʼer, both the God of Void and the World Eater are truly dead. Itʼs better to focus on retrieving Xiao Jingʼerʼs soul fragments.”

”I hope I am indeed just thinking too much,” Mo Baojun said

Vearth, God City...

When Sea God Lanyu and the Eleven God Kyle Reen visited the Guidance Hall, Warden Yun Ming was taken aback to see a crowd of people assembling there. It appears that a notable and significant individual has come. In Vearth, Hei Anjing, the God of Destruction, is a highly revered deity who possesses great strength and beauty. However, because he is a member of the Mo Clan, he is an untouchable sort.

The other lesser gods can only bow their heads in his presence each time he makes it to the main city. Because most of the Mo Clanʼs members held positions that were foreign to everyone else, the majority of them were regarded in this manner. They are renowned because two of them are related to the two sovereigns that once controlled this region.

It is as if, by instinct, the lesser ones can only submit to the stronger ones; even though the hierarchy in this universe is not all that rigid, the existence of those who stood above all gods cannot be disputed. Because of this, most sovereigns shy away from public appearances since they do not want to be regarded with great respect by others.

They will not go to areas such as these unless absolutely essential. Consequently, the person in the crowd cannot be a member of the Mo Clan.

Ye Xiajie, the God of Void and Darkness, and Shen Siwang, the God of Creation and Light, would not show up in areas without their spouses. They are the epitome of the henpecked, clinging husband. These two sovereigns would not also materialize until Mo Baojun and Hei Anjing did.

The Hei Clan is also very well-liked, but unlike the other gods, they can teleport with ease, thus it is difficult to get a good look at them. They would teleport there, and others would already be fortunate to see them. Thus, the great gods that have quite high positions but low origins are the ones that these other gods can capture.

For example, Yun Ming, the former god of fate, is still considered by other gods to be a former good deity rather than an evil god born of birth, despite being a warden and holding a higher rank than before. Still, other gods would welcome Yun Ming along the route as a sign of reverence for his might.

Lou Wuyeʼs presence is too strong for other gods to approach, despite the fact that some people worship him for his previous titles, such as War God of some Death Zone. Those who look up to him observe him from a distance, since he is also pretty attractive.

Along the way, the Elven God and Sea God observe people as they welcome Warden Yun Ming. Though they were astonished, they realized that in any given world, the weaker people would look up to the stronger ones as elite officers on Vearth, and celestial gods making appearances in the city would cause commotion.

Elven God Reen noticed the commotion at the entrance of the guidance hall. ”The Guidance Hall today is a bit boisterous. Did another powerful god come into the city?”

They heard some goddesses shouting from a distance, not far from them. Chapter Continue:

”Ah! Itʼs Lord God Cao Xinsheng and Demon War God Yao Xiewu! Ah! They are both hot!”

”I heard Lord God Cao is Sovereign God Oʼs disciple. He is so amazing!”

”Demon Lord Yao is also powerful. I heard he executed a group of destroyers from his world and brought them all back here to be imprisoned in Nether Prison.”

Elven Reen recognized the Lord God of God System and said, ”So, itʼs the boss. No wonder. He has always been popular.”

”He is your boss?” Sea God Lanyu asked. He actually doesnʼt know the hierarchy of power in this realm. All he knows is that the gods in Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejingʼs bodies are at the top of the class. ”Is he more powerful than the Venerable Lords that brought us here?”

”No. The two Venerable Lords who brought us here are one of the leaders of this realm. They are the peak of power in Vearth. Sovereign God Ye and the God of Destruction, Lord Hei, are the rulers of neither system. The man with the monocle lens at the Throne Hall is called Lord God An Liang.

He is the Lord God of the Nether System, and he answers to the commands of Sovereign God Ye and Venerable Lord Hei,” Elven God Reen said.

Warden Yun Ming added, ”Meanwhile Lord God Cao Xinsheng is the Lord God of the God System. His position is similar to Lord God An Liang. The rulers of the God System are the brother of Lord Ye and the uncle of Lord Hei. They are the Sovereign God Shen Siwang and the Sovereign God Mo.”

”How about you, Lord Warden Yun, and the Chief Warden?” Sea God Lanyu asked.

Warden Yun Ming answered, ”Our position is equal to that of Lord God An, but he is like our superior in the Nether System if Milord is not around. Wuye and I are direct subordinates of Lord Ye and Lord Hei, so aside from them, no one can order us unless itʼs an emergency and none of the two are available. Only then can Lord God An command us.”

All of a sudden, some gods noticed Yun Ming and even knew about his past before he became a warden.

”Is that the former God of Fate, Lord Yun!? He is still alive?”

”Shss! Watch your mouth. I heard he was pardoned for his sins, and Venerable Lord Hei accepted him under his tutelage. If you get punished, then itʼs thanks to your loose mouth.”

”I heard he is the partner of Nether Prisonʼs Chief Warden Lou. Isnʼt that amazing!? His position is equal to that of Lord God Cao!”

”Actually, didnʼt they say that his sin had something to do with Lord God Cao? He was stripped of his former title as the God of Fate and it had something to do with Lord God Cao.”

”Chief Warden Lou vs Lord God Cao? I wonder who Lord Warden Yun will choose in the end.”

When they noticed Yun Ming and the other two High Gods looking at them, this group of Lesser Gods was terrified, especially when the gentle smile on Warden Yun Ming disappeared.

Yun Ming asked with a menacing aura, ”What did you say?”

Hic!

”We are sorry, Lord Warden Yun!!!”

These groups of lesser gods also wanted to kneel when they heard no response from Lord Warden Yun.

”It is indeed true that I used to be a prisoner and that a sin of mine had been erased after being punished in the Nether System. Iʼve completed my trial, and I am also thankful to Lord Hei for accepting me. But... I hope you donʼt attach anyone with my name aside from Chief Warden Lou. I will get angry if you compare Wuye with someone else!” Yun Ming declared.

From a distance, the other parties, including Cao Xinsheng and Yao Xiewu, were drawn to their sideʼs disturbance. Yun Ming was in the group, as Lord God Cao witnessed. Though he heard what Yun Ming had to say, he did not give it any thought. Although they were buddies as children, Cao Xinsheng saw Yun Ming more as a younger brother.

He therefore felt that he had wronged Yun Ming when he learned that Yun Ming had turned himself in to the Nether Prison. Unbeknownst to him, Yun Ming considered him more of a sibling.

Cao Xinsheng said, ”AʼMing? You are back. Howʼs Lord Hei?”

Yun Ming clasped his hand in greeting. ”Yun Ming greets Brother Cao and Brother Yao.”

”You have indeed grown up well. I heard you have become a warden. Congratulations!” Demon War God Yao Xiewu said. Even though he wasnʼt too close to Yun Ming when they were young, he treated this little brother of his friend as his brother as well.

”Thank you, Brother Yao,” Yun Ming said as his smile returned. It was a bit awkward due to the situation, but he wasnʼt as expressionless as before they arrived. ”Brother Cao, Lord Hei still needs to rest, so he has gone back with Lord Ye.”

”Thatʼs also good. So what is happening here?” Lord God Cao Xinsheng asked; in reality, he already knew the cause of the chaos.

He did not think someone as close to them would have the audacity to discuss their superiorʼs past. He had no idea why this bunch of gods had trouble keeping their tongues in their mouths. Did they believe the Chief Warden to be a benevolent god?

Now, the group of Lesser Gods had bowed down and begged for pardon. There is no way the Chief Warden would not know about it too, even if the Lord God got involved. No matter how mild the chief wardenʼs punishment was, it would still result in unending bad luck. They did not want to be punished or lose their access to Vearth as a result of this error.

”Spare us! Please forgive us. We will never do it again!”

”We wonʼt talk indiscriminately anymore. Please spare us, Lord Warden!”

”Iʼm sorry. Iʼm sorry. I have a loose tongue. Please forgive me!”

Abruptly, a phalanx of Lesser Gods began to bow down before Yun Ming. There are strong divine laws that must be obeyed on Vearth, despite the rigid hierarchy between the gods. Although a minor one, slandering oneʼs superior is a sin as well. The least severe penalty is having their tongues extracted, and the most severe is being prohibited from ever setting foot on Vearth, the Highest Realm World.

Vearth is the last chance for gods, particularly those who have ascended after departing from their own worlds. The potential of eternal life can be realized as long as they can enter this domain. You can purchase anything in this place using points. Treasures and money are not really very helpful until they can be traded in for points.

These points can be accrued to purchase the resources required to improve oneʼs cultivation, longevity, etc. Earth is the Sanctuary of God.

While everyone was looking at the people kneeling on the ground, a tall shadow appeared behind Yun Ming, looming over him and those who were kneeling on the ground. Everyone recognized who he was with just this full black armor that only the Chief Warden wore.

”In Vearth, there are no police to control the public. There are only Divine Laws. As the Chief Warden, it is my job to punish the doers. According to the system, itʼs your first offense and only a light punishment must be dealt.”

Before the lesser gods below could react, a few black chains loomed out of the shadows under their feet, snagging them as they tried to run. The Chief Wardenʼs inhumane, purple eyes gleamed beneath his armor, harsh and frigid from his confinement. He looked expressionless as he held a pair of black gloves in his hands and moved the godsʼ jaws. Then he took out their tongues.

AAAAAHHHH!!

”Punishment has been dealt with.”

The dark cords that can bind all Gods vanished from the shadows as the Chief Warden completed his mission. Gently, he took off his gloves, which, after a session, turned to ash. The sight was so horrifying that it silenced them all. Now the identity of this cruel one was dealt to all the Gods and Goddesses once more. A strong deity dealt with any gods or goddesses who had transgressed.

This is true regardless of who they are or where they stand. If you disobey, you will be sent to Nether Prison, a kind of hell, by the Chief Warden of Netherworldʼs black chains.
