I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1334: 18.172 First Grey Star - World Restoration and Resurrection

Ye Jieye unexpectedly showed up and saved the mortals from the coming calamity. Though he arrived suddenly, he had a powerful and imposing presence. However, he appears looking mainly annoyed and angry. His wifeʼs life expectancy was reduced as a result of these misfortunes. However, everyone heard him mention how his wife was sleeping through all of these global catastrophes.

This was the reason this apathetic God of Void directly intervened.

It was Ye Jingya who started the questioning. They do not know what to ask first, although they have a lot. Although they previously knew that Mo Xuejing was a god, does Ye Jieye now become even more of a god in light of what he just witnessed?

”Child, can I ask? Is my grandson a god? What are you guys?” Ye Jingya asked.

Lu Shang looked at him and nodded. ”Yes, he and Lord Hei are one. I, Leica, Ji Yoonjun, and Lanyu are also Gods. The difference between us is that Sea God Lanyu is a True God. He can go beyond this world. He is someone originally from this world.

Lord Ye and Lord Mo were soul fragments of True Gods beyond this world. They were reborn with their mortal bodies and can be considered a part of this world. But after merging with their original souls, they become an existence that is born here and beyond this world. They are incarnations of Gods and had just recently awakened.”

”I, Leica, and Ji Yoonjun are also God, but these vessels are not ours. He signed a contract with the real owners of these bodies, and when it is time for us to leave, they will wake up to occupy this body again. As for Lord Mo and Lord Ye, they will be able to stay here until their mortal vessel reaches the end of their lifespans.”

Leica added, ”We are actually not supposed to be directly involved, but since the Sovereign made a personal move and chose to save you, then your world will need to be upgraded. What you have experienced already is beyond the level of what this world is supposed to experience. But first we should repair the destruction in this world. Yoonjun, you may begin.”

Ji Yoonjun gave a nod of his head and used his divinity as much as his vessel could hold. The wooden bow he was holding changed into a tall, exquisite-looking wand with a stone in the shape of an emerald rose attached to one end. He assumed his true shape for a short while, and his current look is quite different. He had long, pale blue hair.

His features were smoothed with a beautifying effect, and his ears turned slightly pointed. He appears to be an elf from a fantasy realm, and the wand he is holding is a seedling of a world tree.

Everyone could help but gasp at this sudden transformation, especially Doctor Hei, who never expected that Ji Yoonjun was not even of a human race.

Leica mumbled, ”So he is an elf. No wonder the energy of wood elements is too powerful in his body. An Elven God, that is quite rare.”

With his eyes closed, Ji Yoonjun began to chant, and the wand he was holding began to light. Once the chants were finished, he tapped his desired spot on the ground, and many vines and tree branches quickly grew around the area. It cleared the contaminated air and water and restored the charred land and forest. Ji Yoonjunʼs spell allowed the world to be fully restored.

This was a miracle that everyone had personally seen. They watched as the world they lived in was restored, and it seemed much more vibrant than it had before—as though civilization had returned to a prehistoric period devoid of modern technology. Ji Yoonjun stumbled after restoring the ecosystem of this world because he had utilized too much divinity while in human form.

Before he could fall, Doctor Hei grabbed him right away.

”Junjun!?” Doctor Hei called.

Leica checked Ji Yoonjunʼs pulse and said, ”He is alright. He just needs a good sleep after using power beyond his current mortal vessel.”

”Iʼm alright. Let go of me,” Ji Yoonjun said as he stood up with Doctor Heiʼs help.

”Donʼt overdo it.”

”I didnʼt even use half of my original power. This vessel is just too weak. Iʼm okay now,” Ji Yoonjun said.

On the other hand, a second look around saw that the world was restored. The broken parts of the land were patched up by plants or tree roots. The burned areas had been fertilized, and greenies started to sprout from them, hiding the black spots they used to have.

Sea God Lanyu, who went ashore, witnessed the whole scene and wasnʼt surprised by what Ji Yoonjun had done. He had done the very same restoration to the sea he was born into. Itʼs just that the effect of Ji Yoonjunʼs spell is much more powerful on the land, as he is a wood elemental god.

”The Venerable Lord had interfered. Is the calamity completely over?” Sea God Lanyu asked.

Lu Shang said, ”It is. The task of repairing the world was left to us. By the mercy of the God of God, those who died during the calamities shall be revived.”

Everyone was once again dumbfounded. What did these gods just say? Reviving people? Is it a resurrection like the one in the legend? There are a lot of them who lost a loved one, a family member, a friend, or a comrade in these disasters, but there is no one to blame. These are disasters that are even beyond the control of the world and not something mortals can get involved with.

Many of the people in the crowd knelt before these divine figures as I told them about the resurrection. They were appreciative of them acting to save the world. They not only worked to rebuild the world in which they lived, but they also had plans to raise the dead from the time of disaster. They honored the two venerable gods who remained hidden while bowing to the other four gods.

”We give our most heartfelt thanks to the divine beings who gave mercy to us little ones!”

”Thank you for the miracles bestowed upon us.”

”We revered the gods for lending us a hand.”

These bowing mortals surrounded the four who remained standing, and they did not lose their cool. This type of scene is commonplace for them as Gods. Zhi Yang and Zhi Yue, on the other hand, had long since assumed their avatar forms after giving Leica the spell scroll of revival. They left the rest to the wardens and other gods, but they wanted to see how their rulers were doing.

Zhi Yue handed Leica a magic parchment, which he unscrolled.

”This will need us four to activate. Itʼs a spell scroll created by Sovereign Ruler Mo Baojun.”

The other three nodded their heads and placed their hands above the scroll, which gave off a glow of golden shade.

{Engrʼve on this parchment art the laws of life and death signʼd by the authority of the sovʼreign god of life and death. Undʼr this authʼrity, we sacrifice a part of our divinity and asketh this authʼrity of a moment of resurrection. Alloweth all the beings yond kicked the bucket in this wʼrld beest revivʼd and returneth to this pool of time.

With the blessing of the sovereign god of life and death, we call upon the avatar of the god for a resurrection!}

Translation: [Engraved on this parchment are the Laws of Life and Death, signed by the authority of the Sovereign God of Life and Death. Under this authority, we sacrifice a part of our divinity and ask this authority of a moment of resurrection. Let all the beings that died in this world be revived and return to this pool of time.

With the blessing of the Sovereign God of Life and Death, we call upon the Avatar of God for a Resurrection.]

A powerful surge of holy light comes out of the parchment and the Avatar of Mo Baojun appears outside the gray star. A Humongous figure of the Sovereign God Mo materialized from space and gently reached out to this world with a pair of hands holding the little star within its gentle grasp.

Once the silhouette of the Sovereign Gods appeared, even the Gods like the Chief Warden and Warden Yun Ming had to kneel before its presence. This is a Supreme being that holds the same position as the God of Void and Lord Hei. But this is just a mere fraction of Mo Baojunʼs aura; under the laws of life of death signed with his permission, this avatar activated the resurrection spell on this world.

Numerous luminous figures descended from the sky and gently touched the ground beneath everyoneʼs gaze. These creatures perished in the course of the three disasters. The four godsʼ sacrifice had caused the Parchment to fully awaken as well. The moment those who had lost someone returned alive to their side, those who had lost someone else wept instantly. This is yet another gift of a miracle.

These mortals were forced to bow down before that enormous figure in the sky. The Mo Clan felt a little more comfortable with the sacred figure of Mo Baojun above the sky.

Xue Keiran, the wife of Mo Banyue, whispered to his husband, ”Husband, donʼt you think this God looks a bit like our son, especially that cold demeanor.”

”Shss. Wife, donʼt speak. Itʼs rude,” Mo Banyue whispered back but those who heard their conversation noticed the Sao resemblance between their descendant and the holy being.

Sovereign God Mo Baojunʼs avatar had spoken, ”Fʼr a special case due to the infʼrence of an outside force to this dram star, i hadst resurrectʼd coequal those who are havenʼt kicked the bucket because of the outside variables, but only fʼr those with valorous mʼrits.

Those who isʼtnʼt lacking valor karmas wonʼt revivʼd, especially fʼr those who arenʼt wʼre killed by the god of void whose soul wouldst nay longethʼr existeth. This situation shalt nevʼr hath happened in the future.”

Translation: [For a special case due to the inference of an outside force to this little star, I had resurrected even those who died because of the outside variables, but only for those with good merits. Those who had bad karmas werenʼt revived, especially those who were killed by the God of Void, whose souls would no longer exist. This situation will never happen in the future.]

After serving its purpose, the enormous figure vanished, and those who comprehended what he was saying glanced around right away. For people like Mo Xinyue who lost their partners, this is especially true. Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangleʼs rebirth was proceeding as predicted, and the sovereign Godʼs kindness allowed him to be restored right away.

His late wife, who passed away from the same illness as Mo Xinyueʼs partner, is holding his hand.

Lu Wangle laughed and said, ”Do you miss us? Hi, Brother Ye, Everyone~”

”Darling, donʼt joke around in such a serious situation,” his wife warned.

Mo Xinyueʼs wife smiled at his husband and said, ”Old man, I heard you made my beloved grandson suffer. See how I will clean you up when we get home!”

”Lao Po1! You... You are truly... Sobs~” Mo Xinyue cried as he hugged his wife, whom he had lost for a few decades already.

What a joyous reunion! At last, all of the Heavenly Guardians together with their mates had come back to resemble their childhood selves. Lu Wei and Mo Banyue were ecstatic. Regardless of their age, they were overcome with happiness upon witnessing their fathersʼ comeback.

In the throng, similar incidents frequently occurred, however, some people were not brought back to life. Like the father of Wang Xingmo and Wang Xingyun killed by Tun Shizhe in the Tower of Gods or the barbarian race and the other nobles slaughtered by the God of Void. These peopleʼs souls were either devoured by these wicked gods or spent an eternity in hell.

Lu Ming and Mo Yuhanʼs parents were hugging each other at the other corner of the area. However, Su Jin had no parents at all, being an orphan. All he could do was observe the family gatherings around him with a detached smile until Lu Ming invited him to his family and made him a member of theirs.

Sea God Lanyu, Ji Yoonjun, Lu Shang, and Leica had all observed these kinds of reunions in the sky with calm demeanors. They would have some lethargy as a result of using the divinity aura excessively, but since they followed all divine laws and employed an artifact instead of breaking any, it was not a serious enough concern.
