I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1335: 18.173 First Grey Star - Together Again

Ye Jieye kept watch over his sleeping wife, waiting for him to wake up, while everyone else was in a joyful mood, celebrating the reunion of people who had come back to their lives in the small world ruled by the God of Void and the God of Destruction. He took action on his own to ensure that his spouse would wake up early.

The man on the bed was soundly asleep, appearing to be simply resting, with his eyes closed. His actual status was only known to those who were waiting. The God of Void is seated in the chair next to the bed, watching over him while gripping his wifeʼs hand.

The two systems had actually returned him to the small world currently hovering over their cubs, who had ended up taking a nap with their dad.

Ye Jieye didnʼt even look at the floating small moon and small sun. He just asked, ”Have you finished the business outside?”

System Yue responded, [Everything had been cleaned up. [From the Resurrection Scroll from Milord, an Avatar of Sovereign God Mo had descended.]

”Did he say anything else?” He asked. Even though he and that tyrant donʼt get along well, as his wifeʼs uncle, that man can be considered a relative of theirs. He wouldnʼt ignore his words as long as it were necessary.

System Yang answered, [Sovereign God Mo didnʼt say anything. He just activated the Resurrection personally and did nothing more. [Maybe Lord Hei had asked him to come.]

”Plausible. That tyrant is only soft towards my brother and my wife,” the God of Void said. ”Yue, why is Jingʼer not waking up? You told me as long as the things outside are resolved, he will wake up.”

When System Yue examined Lord Heiʼs soul, she discovered that it was not in this body at the moment but appeared to have momentarily returned to Vearth, the location of his true body. It is possible for Hei Anjingʼs soul to temporarily emerge, even though he was unable to awaken in his actual vessel.

---

Vearth, Core Region of the Nether System...

With his vessel lying under the tree with silver leaves, Hei Anjingʼs soul is currently seated on the table facing his uncle, Mo Baojun.

Mo Baojun sips his tea before looking at his nephew. ”How are you feeling, Xiao Jingʼer?”

”Except for feeling sleepy sometimes, everything else is fine. Donʼt worry too much, Uncle. Iʼve already lost the weakness of our bloodline. I should be safe regardless of what happened,” Hei Anjing said.

Mo Baojun said, ”Iʼm not worried about it. You are smart most of the time, except when that fool (Ye Xiajie) is involved.”

”Uncle still dislikes AʼXia. Canʼt you two get along?” Hei Anjing said.

Mo Baojun snorted. ”Letʼs not talk about that fool. The appearance of the World Eater Fragments had been frequent already. There are those who have eaten a few small stars, which is not a problem; the problem is that they are...”

”Insatiable. Those are corrupted fragments. Itʼs better for them to be destroyed instead,” Hei Anjing said as the look in his eyes turned melancholy, as if remembering something in the past he didnʼt want to remember.

”Xiao Jingʼer, you...” Mo Baojun eventually lost interest in inquiring about his origins and previous life, but he still wanted to know. I mean, really, does anyone need to ask? Currently, he is just his cherished nephew, regardless of whether he was formerly known as Hunluan.

”You should return. I just resurrected those mortals as you wish. I allowed it because that is a world that manifests a corrupted world fragment, and the changes it causes are something beyond what that world could bear. We arenʼt supposed to get too involved with mortals,” the Sovereign of Life and Death, Mo Baojun, said.

Hei Anjing said, ”I know, Uncle. That was just a request of my soul fragment. Thatʼs to you fulfilling his last regret. He had fully merged with me. My soul started feeling faster because of this.”

”Hm. I will go back now. AʼXia might get too worried if I remain in my slumber for too long. See you again next time, Uncle Baobei,” Hei Anjing said with a smile of affection he showed only to his family.

Even Mo Baojun, who always had a chilly expression, had a soft expression in his sapphire eyes. He watched the childʼs figure slowly disappears as he kissed his forehead. His soul had returned to that mortal body, where he needed to stay for a while. Shortly after the soul of Hei Anjing departed, two presences materialized in the Core Region.

They appear to have come over in a hurry only to miss the person they were hoping to see.

The God of Origin spoke, ”Xiao Mo, hast Hunluan left already?”

Translation: [Xiao Mo, had Hunluan left already?]

Mo Baojun slightly nods his head as an answer. He once again takes his cup and slowly sips the tea in his cup.

The God of End had spoken, ”Hunluan wonnethʼt wanteth to meeteth us.”

Translation: [Hunluan wonʼt want to meet us.]

Mo Baojun said, ”Give him some time. We donʼt even know if he recalls his first life. But based on how he left before you two arrived, he might have remembered something for him to avoid you two.”

At this point, the God of Origin and the God of End, who frequently engage in unpleasant contacts with their son Hunluan, were muted. Their child was angered by their parentsʼ numerous transgressions, which led him to battle the World Eater and even decide to die by himself in order to vanquish the malevolent entity.

This couple was unable to refute Mo Baojunʼs statements in the slightest because of the distressing events that had occurred in their family.

Back to the Small World

Hei Anjing gradually awakens within Mo Xuejingʼs body. The Divine Laws that had been punishing his body had suddenly stopped, when he had fully merged with the pieces of his soul that remained in this realm. After that, his hair stopped spreading, even if a portion of it had turned back.

When he opened his eyes, the room was dimly lit. He was hugged from the right by his huge body and from the left by two little, plump arms. It appears that he had awoken during the night. On the king-size bed with him was his spouse Ye Xiajie and their two cubs. His silver eyes are deep with satisfaction and a small smile at the corner of his lips.

He turns back and appropriately covers his two cubs with blankets before reaching out to touch his husbandʼs face with his hand. The man, with his eyes closed, was abruptly awakened by the icy touch of his fingers, despite his soft and cautious touch. Hei Anjing was cradled in the palm of a somewhat larger hand, and a gentle mouth planted butterfly kisses on the tips of his fingers.

A hoarse yet raspy voice spoke full of tenderness towards the God of Destruction. ”Baby, you are finally awake.”

L

”Hm. I am. So donʼt worry anymore,” Hei Anjing said as he clasped his fingers with his belovedʼs hand. Their fingers entangled with one another as he was pulled closer to the God of Void, his waist collapsed with another arm. He was hugged tighter in the manʼs embrace.

Growls~

The silence was broken by Hei Anjingʼs tummy growling for food. He had been asleep for days and hadnʼt eaten much since he woke up.

Hei Anjing whispered, ”My love, Iʼm hungry. I want some braised beef with noodles and some steamed egg custard.”

The arm that wrapped around his waist rubbed his flat tummy gently. The God of Void narrowed his eyes a bit as he chuckled. ”Since my baby is hungry, then I can only cook. Letʼs go to the kitchen, baby.”

”What about Xiao Jing and Xiaxia?” Hei Anjing asked as his husband stood up and carried him horizontally within his embrace.

Ye Xiajie kissed his lips and said, ”They missed their naps this afternoon. They shouldnʼt be waking up soon. Let them sleep longer.”

He walked to the kitchen after carrying his wife away. The two systems that were dozing in the kidsʼ arms merely shook a little before going back to sleep. They decided that itʼs better not to get in between a couple who hasnʼt met for a long time.

Ye Xiajie moves around the kitchen while sporting an apron. Hei Anjing waits on the kitchen table and observes. With a sly smirk, he observes his husbandʼs tall build, straight back, long legs, and firm buttocks.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Baby, even though I canʼt see you behind me, your stares are tingling. Are you seducing your husband?”

”Maybe or not,” Hei Anjing said, narrowing his eyes as his lips upturned.

Ye Xiajie asked, ”Baby, why did you return to Vearth just now? Itʼs dangerous to move in soul form alone.”

”I met Uncle Baobei. Iʼve asked a favor and thanked him. Since it seems we cannot stay in this world for too long, it would be unfair for our families here. I have had Uncle Baobei revive their dead partners,” Hei Anjing said.

The God of Void asked, ”How are you feeling? Is the punishment from the Divine Laws severe?”

”No. It stopped spreading after I woke up. But this body is too weak and with my soul incomplete, it just canʼt stabilize. At most, I can only spend another century with you here. Iʼve also checked, and three soul fragments isnʼt enough to allow me to live a lifetime in any world. At least 2 to 3 more soul fragments are needed so I can awaken naturally as myself,” Hei Anjing said.

”Also be careful of that man I met in the space corridor. I donʼt know how many fragments of your power he had eaten, but his soul is powerful. Beware of him at all times.”

”Donʼt worry about him. He wonʼt harm you,” Ye Xiajie said

Hei Anjing shouted, ”But he will harm you!”

”Sigh~ okay, I will be careful. Donʼt be angry anymore. Youʼre not fully well yet,” Ye Xiajie said as he placed bowls of braised beef noodles and two plates of side dishes each for them. A plate of shrimp dumplings and boiled eggs.

The world they currently inhabit as well as certain species that live in their own small world were used to make the ingredients. The imperial shrimp were grown in their backyard, and the beef came from the rainbow cows that were used in the past. As for the shrimp, those were golden royal shrimp, rich in elements of light that heal the soul and body, and they lived in the holy pond.

The boiling eggs turned out to be phoenix eggs.

Hei Anjing began to eat with joy. He enjoys cooking a lot, and even though his spouse does not cook as well as he does, it is still the greatest in his opinion. This is a man who, until recently, seldom ever cooked or ate. In the past, a guy burned down their mansion and caused the kitchen to explode simply because he wanted to boil water for tea.

Although gods do not need to eat at all, the God of Void acquired cooking skills for his benefit.

”Hm~ delicious! I really love your cooking. Itʼs the best, AʼXia!” Hei Anjing said while eating.

Ye Xiajie smiled at him, served him some eggs, and said, ”Itʼs more delicious if you eat some eggs with noodles.”

”My love to eat eggs too~,” Hei Anjing said as he gave half an egg of what he had bitten to his husband, who was feeding him.

In their own small world, the couple relished their time together in this manner. The Ye family had finally emerged to greet the others who were waiting outside after three full days inside. The Lu and Mo Clans eagerly awaited their return, particularly when they eventually noticed Mo Xuejing and Ye Jieye arriving. The parents of both families were freed from concern.

Nearly everyone in the world revered and prayed for the pair as gods as a result of the disasters. Ye Jieye took his wife and children back to Numen Town and their tree house because he was annoyed. The people would not be so eager as to kneel and pray with them as subjects, at least not in this village. They quickly resumed operations at the restaurant, which grew livelier with Hei Anjing there.
