I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1331: 18.169 First Grey Star - Calamity of the Sky

For the residents of this gray star, Mo Xuejing paid for a year of peace. It was plenty for all the creatures of this star to come together and form a single body, finish preparing, and send those incapable of fending off into the darkest region this world has ever known—the water.

The palace beneath the sea was the gathering place for common people and other species with feeble bodies from different races.

Everyone else had assembled here to survive and fight the last battle this earth had to face, with the majority of those gathered being elderly and helpless children.

A small number of knights and warriors of various races are sent to guard the castle; however, this is really a small contingent, since the main force was assigned to battle alongside Lu Shang and the worldʼs heroes on the front lines. This time, Lanyu, the new God of the Sea, emerged from the water as well and rose to the surface.

He took up this role of guarding the waters from the previous ancient god who had adopted him.

Invaders aboard spacecraft are invading on their planet with the goal of destroying it from above the oceans and the land. Lu Shang and Sea God Lanyu had already turned back the first wave. The warriors of the land were led by one, and the warriors of the water by the other.

Every ship that was in the line of sight was mercilessly shot down, and anything that emerged from the sky was considered a target.

There is no need for the invaders to relax. They do not run on life; they run on energy. Like machines, they will continue to exist for a considerable amount of time as long as they have enough energy.

The few waves of invaders that arrived were merely scouts, which is why Lu Shang and the others defeated them with ease. However, the soldiersʼ inflated egos were caused by these meager fortifications. Although Lu Shang is a great person in these soldiersʼ eyes, he is not as powerful as Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing, who made the distinction between a deity and a mortal clear to them.

Instead, Lu Shang maintained his modesty and simplicity. For this reason, despite his strength, he and Leica are not seen by the others as divinely defying.

As a result, as soon as their egos were aroused, they began to despise Lu Shang, who had told them to retreat when their adversaries were fleeing.

Frontlines, in the sky above.

This time, the battleground is in the skies. The only people who can fight above ground are those who can fly; everyone else can only provide support from below. Because they value independence, most wind elemental users do not belong to any organizations or factions. They are mercenaries for the most part, moving merely to make money.

These individuals lack clear leaders and have a variety of viewpoints. They detested being restrained.

Lu Shang commanded, ”Retreat! Donʼt pursue the enemies!”

Most warriors retreated after some hard headed ones turned deaf ears at Lu Shangʼs command and flew around to chase the monsters who were running away.

”What are you guys doing!? The commander said to retreat!”

”No. We canʼt retreat! These monsters must all die. We are stronger than they are!”

”Thatʼs right. We are stronger in the sky!”

”Defeat them all!”

Lu Shang, who was floating in the distance and observing the rebellious moguls who had disobeyed his commands, was approached by a retreating warrior. He did not appear irritated. Instead, his expression stayed solemn and composed. But he gave the fools the death-stare treatment.

Lu Shang said, ”Ignore them. Leica, tell others to prepare for the big ones. They are coming down.”

”Sure. Iʼll inform the people below to create a space below and beware of impact,” Leica said as he pulled on his strong tie on his hands. The other end of the strings had a specialized bell with different sounds. Each sound gives a different command. Those at the command center below, upon receiving the command from above, had read the next order on the ground and in the sea.

With soldiers from the mermaid, siren, and fisherman races behind him, Sea God Lanyu stood solidly above the sea. These soldiers are fewer in number than those on land, but they are more formidable at sea. Anything that approaches the ocean will be dragged beneath and killed if marine life deems it their enemy.

After receiving the next command from the Supreme Commander at the vanguard, Sea God Lanyu read the next order.

Sea God Lanyu said, ”Open an area of empty space on the sea. Targets will begin to fall on the ground. Anything that fell from the sky that isnʼt from this world starting now will be enemies. Kill on sight!”

Those idiots who pursued the retreating foes were apprehended and executed, seemingly in response to Lu Shangʼs plans. At least ten enormous golem hands descended from the sky, squeezing and seizing everything they judged to be a target. When those wind elemental users disobeyed Lu Shangʼs orders, they were caught in the enemyʼs line of sight and were unable to flee. Experience exclusive tales on мѵʟ

The mongrelsʼ painful screams before their deaths reverberate in the skies, and those who saw the golemsʼ descent and the scene of their deaths come into view. Ten times bigger than the golems emerging from the Ruins of Time are the enormous golems in front of their sight.

”How can it be this big!?” A warrior at the frontline mumbled while trembling. Those who were beside him arenʼt any different. The size of this giant golem made humans look like ants.

Lu Shangʼs calm voice resounds in the vanguard. ”Donʼt flatter. Be afraid, but never stop. You may tremble, but never let go of your weapons. Believe in yourself and always remember that the moment you lose courage, your wife, family, and loved ones will die the moment you fall.”

”Once you calm down, follow me. I will lead you to victory!”

Lu Shangʼs statement restored the courage of all the warriors in the vanguard. Lu Shang boldly stood in front of them. He is not their leader, nor is he a member of their family. He is prepared to guide them for the benefit of their planet. Even though he is several decades younger than them, they were nevertheless in awe of his towering, straight back.

”Such a dashing commander. Fearless and powerful. Like a war god.”

”War God.”

”The war God will open the path!”

”Follow the War God and fight!”

”Drag the enemies to the ground. As long as they fall, we will win!!!”

Leading the Vanguards, Lu Shang gave the order to encircle and bind the hand. Leica, meantime, is observing from a distance. The warriors in front of him had their bodies attached to his strings. The red string would save them if they found themselves in a life-or-death situation. Leica and his team just made sure that the lives of those leading would not be wasted.

Pull them away from the danger if you can. They would not lose so easily as long as the major combatants survived.

Su Jin, Mo Yuhan, and Lu Ming are all on standby. They could only emerge when it was most advantageous for them to do so, as one of their secret weapons. They will only be permitted to emerge when the most powerful wave of adversaries has entered the territory of this world.

Mo Yuhan watches the battle in the sky with fidgety hands. ”I also want to fight like Instructor Lu. He looks so amazing~”

”You canʼt come out. The waves coming out are just scouts and pawns of the enemies. They arenʼt the main force. If you fight now and get tired, what will you do when the real one descends? Bear with it,” Ji Yoonjun said.

Mo Yuhan said, ”I know. My brother says that if I donʼt know what to do, I should follow the commands of the seniors.”

”Thatʼs good. If only you could see what is beyond those clouds, you wouldnʼt dare speak out at this moment,” Doctor Hei said.

Ji Yoonjun glared at Doctor Hei.

Lu Ming frowned and asked, ”Is there something beyond the clouds?”

Su Jin appeared perplexed. He may use any body of water as a medium because he is a lesser god of the water. Since clouds are composed of water, he was able to manage them in order to see above the sky through the dense cloud cover. Countless spaceship bigger than the golems falling in their world materialized in front of his sight as they entered the beyond this realm.

There were innumerable spaceships and creatures all around them in the area above their star. He is afraid just of the sheer quantity.

Pukes~

Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan didnʼt expect Su Jin to react like this. His face turned pale white as he was trembling. His whole body is shaking and fear shows on his face.

”Xiao Jin? Whatʼs wrong? What did you see!?” Lu Ming asked.

Su Jin stuttered as he trembled. ”Many... Enemies... Big spaceships. Hundred times... Larger than...

the giant golems being dragged down. Countless enemies... surrounding the... whole... planet.”

Mo Yuhan exclaimed in shock, ”Are you for real?”

”Junjun, this is bad! Those guys are doing something.” Doctor Hei, who had shared his senses with some creatures of the sky to spy on the enemies, picked up something. He had taken control of these creatures after he enchanted them with his pheromones.

Ji Yoonjun asked, ”What is it? What did you see?!”

”Chains...? Long and big ones. There are also nails at the end,” Su Jin said.

Doctor Heiʼs face turned dark. ”They are trying to nail it in this world and drag it away forcefully!!!”

Ji Yoonjun instantly flew above and reported these findings to Leica, as Lu Shang was busy fighting in front. As expected, Leica turned serious upon hearing this news.

Leica said, ”So the attack on the front is a distraction. Ask Su Jin and Doctor Hei to find the exact coordinates of those falling nails. It mustnʼt fall on this planet. Create small groups of elite split up to these coordinates and destroy those nails and chains. Inform Lanyu on the sea as well! I will inform Shang when he returns.

You personally lead this team. Choose those who are strong enough to destroy the nails.”

”Yes, Celestial Lord!” Ji Yoonjun returned to the land and went to find the Heavenly Guardians and the protagonists. He chose to lead them for this urgent mission.

Every elite warrior and hunter that was available had shown up in the tent in the back. With the exception of Lu Wangle, who transformed into an egg, the Heavenly Guardians had assembled. The leaders of their generation, including Ye Jingya, Ye Jingli, Lu Wei, Mo Banyue, and Xue Keiran, had also assembled. Additionally, Mo Yuhan, Lu Ming, Su Jin, and Doctor Hei had arrived.

Along with Fu Zin, the royal family had also arrived, including Wang Xingmo, Second Prince Wang Xingju, and the late king Wang Xingyun.

Ji Yoonjun leads the meeting: ”The situation on the vanguard is stable. Unfortunately, the invader made a discreet move against this star. They wanted to take away this world. Once this star is taken away from the current galaxy, it would be considered a lost star and become a free for all for those interstellar races to grab.

When that happens, the owner of this world would change and everything in it would become a prize for the winner.”

”That means everything in this world will become a slave for the one who takes away this world,” King Wang Xingmo asked.

Ji Yoonjun answered, ”Yes, that will be the end result. This world, after all, lost its protection after the Heavenly Laws were killed. It became a free planet without a head. It can be taken away if no one stops them.”

”What should be done?” Ye Jingya asked as he noticed the seriousness of the situation. It seems that this calamity of the sky involves the whole being of the world.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”Doctor Hei and Su Jin can find the coordinates of the falling nails. Destroy the nails and chains before it falls on the land. As long as they get a grip on this world, they wouldnʼt be able to drag it away.”

”We must move as fast as possible. But how big is the nail that needs a lot of people to destroy it?” Former Minister Fu Zin asked.

Ji Yoonjun answered, ”As thick and big as the former Tower of God, for this we will need the help of protectors of danger zones. Lord Leica had called them already. We can bring them away anytime.”

”Where are they?” Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue asked.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”Some are hiding under the sea, and the others blend in the forest. The sky whale will help with the one that fell on the water.”

”Letʼs split up into four groups. Find another who can communicate with Su Jin and Doctor Hei from afar.” Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu.

Ye Jingya said, ”I can do it. Allow me to be one to communicate with these two lads.”

”Then I shall support you, Yaya!” Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang.

The last one to raise its hand was, unexpectedly, Wang Xingju. ”I can communicate without my familiars, regardless of distance. I can summon a few lesser demons.”
