I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1341: 19.0 Vearth - Return to the Nether System

Hei Jue and An Liang were waiting for the God of Void and the company that accompanied him back to Vearth inside the Throne Room of the Nether System, where they had bid farewell to the previous planet. Ever since Ye Xiajieʼs complete resurrection, the throne room has undergone changes.

There is now a pure white throne next to the black one in the throne hall, which formerly had only one black throne. Black and white interior design has replaced the previous trend of all-black interior design.

The instant Hei Anjing got back to Vearth, he felt weak and drowsy. This higher realmʼs qi and air are heavier than those in previous realms, therefore weak souls would be readily crushed by the qiʼs pressure. Hei Anjing, being an incomplete soul, would be more impacted by it than previously, particularly now that he is merely a soul.

Ye Xiajie panicky caught his wife in his embrace. ”Baby!? Are you alright?”

”Iʼm alright. Itʼs just that my vessel is not here, and I feel sleepy again,” Hei Anjing said.

Hei Jue, with a frown, said, ”Go to the core region and let my brother rest. Uncle Mo and Sovereign Ruler Shen are waiting for you there.”

The God of Void bowed his head, realizing that his brotherʼs personal visit to his domain had to have been the result of some sort of event. Void and Darkness are its enemies since Void is the God of Creation and Life. Their areas influence each other even though they are not adversaries.

Ye Xiajie carried his wife away and told the commander of the wardens, ”I will call you when itʼs time to leave. For now, you may rest.”

”Yes, Milord (Lord Ye)!” Chief Warden Lou Wuye and Warden Yun Ming saluted as everyone watched their backs disappear in the darkness behind the throne hall.

After transforming back into his former self, Kyle Reen assumed the appearance of a light-haired Elven God. Next to him stands the just ascended Sea God Lanyu, who is suffocating from the atmosphere of this royal hall and nervously scanning his surroundings. The qi and air of this place captivated the recently ascended Evil God Nameless and his apostle, Wang Xingmo.

Elven God Reed gave a salute to the new Lord God of the Nether System, An Liang, and the God of Space, Hei. Ye Xiajie regained his royal sovereignty after completing his resurrection. Thus, he became the owner of the Nether World rather than the Lord God of the Nether System.

This area became entirely his as he expanded his Void Domain to encompass the whole Nether World and turned into a rift within the abyss.

As a result, An Liang, his adjutant, becomes into the Lord God, managing the Nether System on his behalf. Similar to how Shen Siwang and Mo Baojunʼs pupil Cao Xinsheng manages the God System on behalf of his masters.

”God System Staff, Kyle Reen greets the God of Space and Lord God An!”

Sea God Lanyu bowed like the Elven God but said nothing. Wang Xingmo and Nameless likewise bow down, acknowledging these two as high-ranking gods in this area.

Hei Jue Light, the God of Space, nodded and let his husband conduct the conversation. Touching his monocle, Lord God An Liang looked at the few who had gone back to Vearth with his master.

Lord God An Liang said, ”Hm. The white staff, Kyle Reen, you may return to the God System using the Teleportation Portal at the entrance. Bring this newly ascended one with you.”

”Yes, Lord God, An!” Kyle Reen responded with his greatest courtesy.

Everyone is aware that, despite his happy appearance, Lord God An Liang is actually a wicked god who works directly for the supreme deity of void and darkness. He is even more respected than Lou Wuye, the Chief Warden, who is supposedly the God of Voidʼs right-hand man.

Lord God An Liang said, ”AʼMing, please send these two at the entrance. The Nether Guards and other wardens might mistake them for prisoners.”

Warden Yun Ming nodded at his superior and approached Kyle Reen and Lanyu. ”Follow me, the entrance is this way.” After a while, he left with the two following his steps.

In actuality, Lord God An Liang was more fascinated by the recently born malevolent gods who return with them. It dawned on him that these two were bound by an enduring soul pact. Similar to a marriage contract, but more brittle because it is the kind that can be shattered with sufficient force and qi.

”A former mortal and a demon. The classic pairing. Hello, welcome to the Netherworld. This is the other half of Vearth, which is handled by the Nether System. Most Evil Gods are affiliated with us. The other half is called Sanctuary and is handled by the God System, where most ascended gods work.

Well, you might not understand it at all. I will have someone to send you to the Guidance Hall; newly ascended gods were sent there. That new sea god will also go there.”

Just as Lord God An Liang is about to call a servant, Wang Xingmo has spoken.

”You look interested in us at first. Whatʼs with the sudden change in mind?” He asked.

Ever since they had walked through that unusual door—which connected places without even requiring a space corridor—Wang Xingmo had been watching everything. Rather, it makes direct connections to other locations. In theory, this method is a god-level spatial transfer. He had also observed that these two gods were family to the two Sovereigns, and that they treated this area like home.

Hei Jueʼs resemblance to Satanʼs wife suggests that they are related by blood.

This man, who is related to him by blood, showed no interest in us, much like the wife of Satan. His unwavering gaze faltered only in the direction of his kin. This man, mild-mannered with a false smile, is not like the others. Rather than the Elven God and Sea God, he seemed interested in the two of them.

Lord God An Liang smiled, looking at Wang Xingmo, entertained. ”A proud and stern demeanor. Observant yet looks indifferent and blends with others auras to quietly watch a farce as well as a hidden majestic arrogance of looking down on anything. Are you a former King or Emperor in the world you came from, little one?”

Feeling the tension building up in the hall, Nameless immediately pulled Wang Xingmo back behind his back. This obvious protection gesture made Hei Jue raise an eyebrow.

Nameless bows his head and apologizes for Wang Xingmoʼs question. ”Please forgive him for his manners. I shall make sure it never happens again, Venerable Lords!”

Hei Jue said, ”A demon protecting a human in a life-and-death situation? Is this little one your other half?”

”Your other half?” Wang Xingmo mumbled, obviously unable to understand the meaning of these words.

Hei Jue completely lost interest when he heard Wang Xingmoʼs words. ”I guess he is not.”

”Evil Gods are more powerful than ordinary Gods; your qualifications to work in the Nether System are enough, but we donʼt pick ones who havenʼt passed the assessment yet. Thatʼs why you had to enter the Guidance Hall to learn about this realm. As for the one with you, he canʼt live in Vearth yet as a demigod.

Staying in such a place with pure qi under God-level will make them explode,” Lord God An Liang explained.

Nameless frowned and said, ”He canʼt stay with me.”

”He can, but only for a week. More than his vessel wouldnʼt be able to last. An outer region had been created for cases when he ascended and brought a family member with cultivation below the god stage. You guys can stay there until you successfully help him become a true god. You canʼt stay in this place for too long. This is within the territory of the Abyss.

Unregistered ones will suffer a lot. I will have someone send you out as well,” Lord God An Liang said.

Chief Warden Lou Wuye stepped up and said, ”I can send them out on my way.”

”Oh, youʼre on break. Then I will leave them to your care, Chief Warden,” Lord God An Liang said.

Wang Xingmo and Nameless looked over the entire area as they departed with Lou Wuye. At least they could view the outside environment, even though they were not allowed to freely explore the entire palace. In the Nether World, the evening is longer, and a wisp of fire that appears to be alive is seen flying around. The light in this palace came from this wisp of color fire.

However, what attracted their attention were the individuals dressed in attire resembling that of Yun Ming and this figure known as the Chief Warden. The only difference is that those men were hearing cries, pleading, and cursing while keeping watch over and carrying victims in chains. Wang Xingmo frowns more the more he observes. However, Nameless appeared to be in awe of this location.

Being a devil, he is susceptible to human emotions and sins. He dared not destroy anybody so pure as Wang Xingmoʼs spirit; instead, he wished to conceal them.

Wang Xingmo knew that this Chief Warden used to wear the vessel of Lu Shang and knew his relationship with Satan.

Wang Xingmo asked politely, ”Is it alright for me to ask what this place is?”

”This is the Nether Realm where the Nether Prison is located. Itʼs a place where sinned gods are imprisoned and punished. Wardens like me oversee them. Those people you see dragging people are wardens, likewise the ones being dragged are prisoners. The prisoners you are seeing are the weakest of kinds. They are merely gods and high gods who broke the rules of Vearth.

After being imprisoned and cleansed with fire, they will be thrown out after a few hundreds of years.”

”The real deals are being burned underground while being alive and unable to die, all for eternity, until their souls were burned into nothing and were devoid of reincarnation. If you want to know more, go to the Guidance Hall; all information about Vearth is taught there.”

Those unfamiliar with the hallways felt lightheaded, as they had changed several times. They met a young man on their way out who had a far more polished majesty than Wang Xingmo had developed in his entire life. It resembles an emperor and a king meeting each other.

Chief Warden greets the young man who is carrying a boy in his embrace. ”Lord Qinjing, Young Lord Jingmo, Wuye greets.”

”Uncle Wuye, are Dad, Father, Xiao Jing, and Xiaxia back?” The God of Time, Ye Qinjing, asked politely. He had always treated the direct subordinates of his parents as uncles.

Chief Warden responded, ”The Lords are in the core region as Xiao Jing and Princess Xia, the disappered the moment we return here. I donʼt know where they went.”

”I see. Then weʼll go ahead now. I saw Uncle Yun on our way here. He should be waiting for you at the entrance.”

With these remarks, Ye Qinjing—carrying his younger brother—walk away. Given that the two men were strangers, he did not even assign them to accompany the Chief Warden.

After a few footsteps were heard, their form vanished from that weird hallway that unnerves Nameless and Wang Xingmo. Lou Wuye identifies the two men after noticing their inquisitive looks.

”That one is the eldest son and youngest son of Lord Mo and Lord Ye, the God of Time, Lord Ye Qinjing, and Young Lord Ye Jingmo. Ye Jingxia is the second eldest, and Princess Anxia is the third princess.”

”In this world, is it possible for two gods to bear children?” Nameless asked.

Chief Warden answered, ”No, you have to go to the lower realm and find a world that allows men to give birth. There are countless worlds like that, as it is almost impossible for gods to have an heir in this realm; their aura is too powerful to bear an heir in the upper realm.”

Nameless and Wang Xingmo exchanged gazes as they realized this. Considering how dissimilar their races are, they have long since given up on starting their own families. It appears like nearly anything is achievable these days. If even men can give birth, creating their own family should not be impossible. Their hearts were now full of hope and desire; as for its contents, only they knew.

Meanwhile, in the core region of neither system...

Ye Xiajie and Hei Anjing scowled at the remnants of the ruin; the fact that it is only now beginning to be restored indicates how much damage was done here for it to remain unrepaired. Hei Anjingʼs actual vessel is still intact on the bed Ye Xiajie made for him. Simply put, the enormous World Tree that was erected in the middle of the area appears somewhat charred and bald.

The pair witnessed Shen Siwang and Mo Baojun healing one another not far from the center. It was obvious that their altercation with a prominent person was the cause of this appearance.

The closer Hei Anjing got to his vessel, the more awake and focused he felt, despite his little sleepiness. He requested that his husband travel closer to Shen Siwang and Mo Baojun right away. The God of Void scowled in recognition as he observed the purplish aura devouring the flesh of Mo Baojunʼs arm, which was sealed by his brotherʼs light aura.

”Uncle Baobei! You are hurt!” Hei Anjing said with worry imprinted on his face.

Mo Baojun glanced at his nephew and said, ”Itʼs not much. Donʼt worry.”

Ye Xiajie extends his hand, removing the purple glow that was consuming Mo Baojunʼs skin, flesh, and blood. Sovereign Ruler of Life and Death, Mo Baojunʼs wounds began to heal instantly as soon as he removed the purple aura, thanks to the healing power of the Light God.

Shen Siwang startled when he realized what his brother had done. He also made an attempt to get rid of the purple glow, but his hands kept getting consumed and scorched. It would just never stop growing as it consumed his wifeʼs flesh and blood. All he could do was seal it.

Sovereign Shen Siwang asked, ”Xia, do you know what that aura is?”

Instead of the God of Void, the one who answered was Hei Anjing, who was now leaning on his body in his soul form.

”The World Eaterʼs Aura of Gluttony,” Hei Anjing said.

Ye Xiajie said, ”That bastard came here!”
