I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1330: 18.168 First Grey Star - The Reward for the Completion of the Trial of Marriage.

Hei Anjing entered the lost space where the space corridor that connected the present world to the Ruins of Time existed by passing via the door that the small dragons had selected. The dimensional monsters trapped in the space corridor had devoured most of the space elements, leaving this region in ruins.

Hei Anjing looked around, and the mess in the area annoyed him. He summoned Reine, the hybrid Phoenix-Dragon, to clean up the place.

”Reine, clean up the area.”

Caaaws~

With a dragon ancestry, the Phoenix bobbed its head and took off, destroying the ruins until the entire region was burnt clean. However, Hei Anjing continued to scan the area and was unable to spot his husbandʼs figure. The little dragons created by the power of gluttony, however, were gone and could not be found. It must have vanished entirely.

He was gazing about when he sensed a familiar aura behind him, finally emerging from the shadows. He had known from the minute he entered this damaged area that someone was silently observing him. In fact, there are two of them.

Hei Anjing spun around to give him a quick smile, but before he could say anything, the man wearing Ye Jieyeʼs vessel pierced through his chest and removed his heart. There was another worried, angry, and frantic voice in the vicinity.

Stab! Cough!

{Hunluan!!?}

Hei Anjing, who was meant to hold his husbandʼs spirit, turned to confront Ye Jieye with a pale face and bloody lips. The man who rescued him from his fall turned out to be Tun Shizhe, the man from earlier who wore the black cloak, and the man who had been tossed outside by Hei Anjing into an unidentified area.

{You let your guard down too easily! Thatʼs not him, but a corrupted piece of the original us. Shit! Your heart!}

The once-calm-in-all-situations Tun Shizhe attempted to heal Hei Anjing, but before he could, the hole in his chest had grown a heart again beneath his eyes. The hole was filled in and the missing heart grew again.

{This is... Immortality? Since when did you have such a convenient skill?} Tun Shizhe mumbled as he saw black snowflakes growing under the corner of Hei Anjingʼs eyes. The mateship imprint he shares with the God of Void has been activated.

Given that this imprint is shared with oneʼs partner who has successfully completed the trial of marriage, its privileges are abnormal. A little impression is non-transmissive, but the imprint obtained at the successful completion of the Trial of Marriage is transmissible and can aid its host in sustaining life despite adverse outcomes.

Trial of Marriageʼs Imprintʼs Privileges:

1. It can allow the two couples to share their abilities, power, and eternity.

2. It allowed the couple to pinpoint the location of their partners. Requirements: Both souls of the couple must be complete, or this canʼt be used.

3. One of the couples would never die unless the other one died with him at the same time.

4. It can cancel all negative bloodline weaknesses, skills, or abilities.

After completing this trial, Hei Anjing lost his bloodlineʼs weakness. The ability to die or feel pain only in the hands of their other half. It was because of this special effect that Shen Siwang, Mo Baojun, and the other couples in Vearth also wanted to complete this trial. To remove the only weakness of the Mo Clan towards their beloved.

Hei Anjing grinned. Not even he anticipated this to occur. Their family never suffered because of the Mo Clanʼs frailty. For them, leaving their lives in the care of their lover is equivalent to making an unbreakable vow of love and devotion. However, Ye Xiajie and Shen Siwang, the brothers, their belovedʼs infirmity is more of a chain in their eyes.

Who wants to bind their sweetheart with a chain to themselves?

Moreover, Hei Anjing is willing to sacrifice everything for Ye Xiajie, but the latter feels strongly about this unfairness. Thatʼs why the Hei Clan and Mo Baojun raised this Trial of Marriage to the God of Void as a way to prove their love for Hei Anjing. The God of Void and the God of Destruction completed the trial of marriage, but its effect was only activated after the Revival of Ye Xiajie.

The prerequisite to activating the Imprint of Trial of Marriage is for one of the lovers to end the otherʼs life and fully tie their souls.

Even if one of the pairs passes away, there should not be any issues following the activation. Simply put, Hei Anjingʼs spirit had already been broken up into many pieces at that point. He had barely survived thanks to the rewards of the ordeal of marriage. After all, the remaining soul fragments perish along with the primary soul whenever it passes away.

The Trial of Marriageʼs completion award preserved Hei Anjingʼs soulʼs wisp and prevented it from entirely vanishing. That wisp of his soul was properly safeguarded, in addition to having found his original vessel. So retrieving the fragments of the missing soul would rouse Hei Anjing from his sleep.

Moreover, as more soul fragments are gathered, Hei Anjingʼs soul will wake up from time to time, like in this world.

Tun Shizhe asked in confusion, {You didnʼt die? Your heart was eaten.}

Hei Anjing got up, took a quick look at the man securing him from behind, and shoved him away with his elbows. He sensed that this man and his Xia had a similar aura, yet they were still two different individuals. He would never be needy and would only ever cling to his partner.

”I canʼt die unless Xia is killed with me. Likewise, you guys wouldnʼt survive if he was killed as well,” Hei Anjing said.

{Do you remember everything, Hunluan?} Tun Shizhe asked with excitement in his eyes.

Hei Anjing said, ”Not much. But we should be clear about something. Hunluan died. He died a long time ago and I am just a mere fragment of him. So you shouldnʼt treat me as him, like how I donʼt treat you as Xia.”

These words silenced the man in the black robe. He can understand that the real Hunluan is no longer with us, but seeing Hei Anjing in front of him gives him the impression that Hunluan never passed away. He is Hunluan himself, in their hearts, not only him but the tainted pieces as well.

The only person who found the soul known as Hei Anjing and showed him unconditional love was Ye Xiajie, the primary soul piece who had already forgotten everything. It is not that he belongs to Hunluan; rather, it is that he is Hei Anjing.

Because their lives have long been intertwined, Ye Xiajieʼs discovery that Hei Anjing is a part of Hunluan and that he is a member of the World Eater would have no effect. They shall live for the eternity that they have yearned for.

Tun Shizhe mumbled, {Isnʼt that the real wish of Hunluan?}

Hei Anjing asked, ”What did you say?”

{Oh! I said... Be careful.}

Abruptly, Ye Jieye attacked Hei Anjing once more. He glares at Hei Anjing, his face, and eyes etched with madness and unbridled hunger. However, Tun Shizhe seized his hand as it was about to pierce Hei Anjingʼs heart a second time.

Hei Anjing frowned, ”Is this... A corrupted piece of the World Eater? How come he is different from you?”

{It seems you werenʼt lying when you said that you donʼt remember everything. Whatever, I will explain. These corrupted pieces are the reason we went insane in the first place. To keep our promise to you not to eat anything, we held back our hunger. It lasted too long and this part of our soul was born. Their desire to eat is the source of our power itself.

After our souls dispersed into pieces, this kind of guy was reborn as well. Their desire to eat and desire to keep Hunluan for themselves ended up as a desire to eat Hunluan himself, which means eating you~}

Hei Anjing asked, ”If I let him eat, will a part of me gain sanity?”

{Donʼt be crazy. His crazed state is his normal one. Feeding him will lead him to more hunger and madness.}

Hei Anjing said, ”How do I save him then?”

{Are you for real? He already killed you once!} Tun Shizhe said.

Hei Anjing was pissed. ”Why are you shouting at me? Isnʼt this guy a part of Xia? I canʼt just watch him like this and do nothing.”

Your journey continues with мѵʟ

{How about me? I am like this one. Arenʼt you going to save me?}

”How can I save you?” Hei Anjing seriously asked.

However, the man was rendered speechless by this sincerity. Though he was joking, he did not anticipate Hei Anjing would take him seriously. Furthermore, judging only by his expression, he is unquestionably prepared to assist him due to their shared ancestry with the God of Void.

{Why wasnʼt I the one who found you instead of that bastard?} Tun Shizhe mumbled.

”What is it? Stop mumbling, I canʼt understand you at all.”

Tun Shizhe said, {How about you give me a kiss?}

Hei Anjing was taken aback by this statement and looked at Tun Shizhe in shock. However, he heard his husbandʼs voice from behind him before he could say no.

”How about you eat my punch?” Ye Xiajie said.

After holding the corrupted one within his vessel, it appears that the God of Void was able to successfully take control of the body. He wrenched Tun Shizheʼs arm around and seized him, flinging him savagely away from his wife. He was so tempted to punch the bastard in the face.

”Fuck off! Stay away from my wife!” The God of Void shouted.

{Shut up, you retard! You even allowed him to get hurt! You are so fucking useless!}

Shocked, the God of Void spun around right away. He examines the holes above Hei Anjingʼs head and the bloodstains on his body. It took him only a moment to realize what had transpired.

”Jingʼer, how many times are you going to allow yourself to be harmed by me!? No, that thing wasnʼt exactly me, but... even if itʼs me, donʼt let yourself get hurt,” Ye Xiajie said with a reprimanding tone, but those words just pissed Hei Anjing more.

Hei Anjing said, ”Who are you to scold me!? Didnʼt you almost allow Chaos to kill you? If I didnʼt arrive on time, wouldnʼt you also die under his hand?”

”Thatʼs different. I owe you that much!” The God of Void retorted.

Hei Anjing said, ”I owe you just as much! So isnʼt it okay?”

While he patted the small phoenix sitting next to him, Tun Shizhe observed the pair arguing. The pair were fighting, as evidenced by their glares at one another. Ultimately, the God of Void withdraws from the battle first.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Okay, itʼs my fault. Letʼs stop fighting.”

”By the way, what happened to that one who took control of you just now? Are you okay now?” Hei Anjing asked worriedly.

Ye Xiajie answered, ”I ate it. Donʼt worry, it will never go out of control. In the first place, the reason that power went out of control twice is because of this bastard?” He pointed to Tun Shizhe watching them not too far away.

{You cannot blame your own carelessness on me. Itʼs your fault for falling into the trap.}

”Iʼll kill you!”

{Hahaha~ do it if you can~. Little darling Hunluan, Iʼll see you again soon~ give me a kiss the next time we meet!}

The bastard was thrown by the God of Void with the God-Slaying Sword Shenyuan, but he quickly fled the existing space coordinates. Shenyuan stayed in the same location as his master and gave up on chasing the departing target.

The God of Void was fuming in anger. ”Iʼll cut him to pieces the next time we meet.”

”Okay, thatʼs enough. Letʼs go back to rest,” Hei Anjing said as he suddenly felt his line of sight was turning dark. ”Eh? why is the surrounding swirling?”

Ye Xiajie panicked and caught his falling wife. ”Baby? Baby, are you alright? Damn!” He used his wifeʼs earrings to enter the small world they owned to find someone to check on Hei Anjing.

Meanwhile, in that E-grade world, gray star, they came from...

It is been a long time already. Although a year was not too long, everyone who resided in this gray star made every effort to get ready for the big disaster. The people who lived on land and in water had come together this time. Gazing up at the heavens, they observed the enchantment that Hei Anjing had placed on this tiny star disintegrating. Its effects were no longer felt.

The worldʼs time had returned.

Numerous spacecraft arrived at the gray starʼs grounds from space beyond the dazzling sky. The cosmic invasion was under way in full.

Sea Gid Lanyu, Leica, and Lu Shang were in the lead. They were the ones selected to lead the way. Troops composed of both land and marine living races follow behind them. All races and looks combined, everyone was together this time. The struggle to keep the world alive has started. As predicted, the Calamity of the Sky had plummeted into the Gray Star.

”They have finally arrived! These invaders are from another dimension,” Sea God Lanyu said.
