I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1325: 18.163 First Grey Star - End of the Land Calamity

Lu Shangʼs negative intuition came to pass. Monsters by the thousands had begun to emerge from the entryway. In the worst case, the door even instantly widened, causing many creatures to emerge at once. The monstrous waves had increased in size in tandem with the doorʼs threefold expansion. Fortunately, Lu Shang had ordered everyone to assemble right away.

The fighters on his side had multiplied tremendously, and those wounded yesterday had entirely recovered.

Ji Yoonjun healed everyone who had lost a limb that prevented them from participating in the battle last night, enabling them to rejoin it. It might be said that the number of defenders today was higher than it was yesterday because Su Jin had also cured every wounded warrior at the back yesterday and some additional warriors from the outside had joined.

Lu Shang was given the order by the Heavenly Guardians. His experience outmatched theirs, and he was still able to command while fighting on the front lines. This man is also a skilled tactician, so even if he falters for a split second, Leica is there to assist him.

Conversely, the spatial monsters lacked a commander. As part of their purpose, they were all just coming over here and killing everybody who was not of their kind. Lu Shang was able to overwhelm his foes with fewer methods as a result. All he has to do is use battle formation to keep the monsters within the city and destroy them all.

”Secure the encirclement. Donʼt let it be breached! Those who can attack in range remain in the middle. Those at rear drag the injured to the backline. Focus on the big ones first!” Lu Shang commanded.

Leica issued another command to the ones under his group. They are the main support for the frontliners led by Lu Shang.

”Restrain the big ones! Use weapons or spells just to halt them from moving!” Leica said.

Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan split due to their elemental inconsistencies with one another. They have to move independently. The large ones were divided into 3-4-3, each one leading a team alone. The midline needed to take out four large monsters, while the left and right wings had to vanquish three.

Furthermore, it appears that the monsters emerging via that space vortex are still arriving; they do not appear to have stopped.

Yesterday, Lu Shang only needed to command Lu Ming, Su Jin, Mo Yuhan, and Su Jin, but this time, the Heavenly Guardians chose to follow his words. They believe that Lu Shang had the ability to lead them all and lessen the death count as much as possible. They continue to fight like this until this final wave of monsters is done. On the other hand, in the space corridor between the two dimensions

The survivors moved freely through the space tunnels, guided by Zhi Yue and the Black Dragon Roi. Roi is a chaos dragon that consumes everything, and he devoured all the monsters that were in his path.

ROOOAAARRR~

”Looks like he is enjoying himself. Who would have thought that the dragon egg I brought out with you as a medium to protect your soul would grow up this big?” Ye Jingya commented at the scene of the black dragon flying above and diving down to munch on monsters with a joyous expression on its face.

Ye Jingli added, ”To Roi, these monsters are no different from an eat all you can buffet. Look at him enjoying himself.”

”Thanks to him, the monsters donʼt have time to bother us,” Lu Wei said.

Everyone observes the contented black dragon as he chases after his moving goodies in the air. A few mouthfuls later, and he would roar in a good mood.

When Mo Banyue looked across the horizon, she noticed a dim light that indicated the opposite end of the space corridor. They can only run and walk together toward the direction of the exit because they do not have any horses or vehicles to ride on. Their gang is surrounded by an imperceptible barrier that prevents the creatures in the hallway from seeing them.

”We are almost at the exit. I donʼt know how everyone is doing right now,” Xue Keiran said.

Mo Banyue said, ”These monsters are also passing through the exit. Just how many have already come out? With this insane number, is everyone alright?”

”Itʼs fine. My wife and Lu Shang are outside. They should be able to cope,” Ye Jieye said.

Ye Jieye now had the sensation that his bodyʼs power of gluttony was once more spiraling out of control. Even though he already had complete control over it, he was nonetheless taken aback by the fact that his bodyʼs capacity for consumption had doubled.

ʼThis is impossible. That power... It was already under my control. I havenʼt merged with anything else aside from that.ʼ The thoughts of the God of Void as he felt that even the darkness within him was affected.

Gluttony and darkness go well together, and the former fuels the latterʼs appetite. He is going to go crazy. Then he remembered one soul that became part of him. It is this worldʼs original Ye Jieye. He was unaware of Ye Jieyeʼs nature as a creature. He is only aware that he was born within this prison and that something other than a fully human existence existed for him.

ʼThat weird temple. The laws of restrictions in that place were made to seal something. No wonder Ye Jieyeʼs soul suddenly woke up in this dungeon. Haha~ Iʼve had!! I think of that bastard who resides in the tower of God and bears the same face as mine but can physically manifest himself even without a vessel.

If there is someone in this world who could have brought this dimensional world into this star, it can only be him!ʼ

The sudden surge of malevolent aura coming from Ye Jieye startled everyone. Zhi Yue and Roi felt extreme danger from the aura emitted by their lord.

Zhi Yue exclaimed, ”Milord!?”

”Whatʼs happening!? Yeʼer?” Ye Jingli and Lu Wei were worried and wanted to approach their son but were pulled back by Zhi Yue.

Zhi Yue said, ”Donʼt touch him!”

”Yue, Roi, get everyone out right now! I canʼt hold it back anymore!!” Ye Jieye said. ”Urgh! Leave now!”

Roi instantly followed the order, dove down, threw his tail around everyone, and raced for the door. Everyone was in a panic since they had no idea what had happened, but they saw Ye Jieye covered in an aura that was growing stronger and even adopting the shape of tiny dragons that were consuming everything in their path. Even worse, these dragon auras were pursuing them.

Zhi Yue observed his milordʼs transformation while astride Roi. He wanted to stay and support his lord, but all it took was one glance to know that he could be consumed by this greed. Everything in the space corridor, including the space corridor itself, was consumed by these dragons. It desired to consume everything.

These deformed, purplish black dragons composed of aura were chasing toward Roi and him, as if sensing their divinity.

The moment they got closer to the exit, this black aura stopped, just as Roiʼs tail was snagged and Zhi Yue was taken off guard. Long ago, half of Roiʼs body had crossed the space corridorʼs exit. It is as though someone is afraid that this dragon-shaped glow may suddenly stop.

Zhi Yueʼs final vision was of the dragon head halting a meter in front of him, the entire area they were in shattered, and his Lord suddenly emerged behind a black hole.

Zhi Yue was stunned, ”What the hell is this power?!” He and the rest disappeared from the space corridor and headed to the world outside the dungeon of Ruin of Time.

Outside the dungeon

The abrupt alterations on the door had been felt by all. It appears that the door itself was impacted by the wild power present in the space corridor. Some of the beasts that emerged were already dead, and it shook violently. The ground they stood on began to tremble violently as cracks in it spread quickly. This earthquake is more severe than the last.

This time, the earth gave way and cracked, leaving the ground covered in innumerable holes and cracks. Lu Shang ordered everyone to leave the battlefield as soon as he saw this scene.

Lu Shang shouted, ”Retreat. Run as far as possible. Donʼt look back! Those who can fly help the others. Wind elemental users use elevation spells!”

Lu Shang has completely subdued everyone in his vicinity by using the wind element. Carried in Lu Shangʼs arms, Leica extended his red strings to save as many people as he could. The majority of individuals had left the battlefield as far as they could. The creatures that were unable to flee perished beneath the debris, slamming and fracturing beneath the massive boulders and fissures in the terrain.

It was a massive catastrophe that nobody could have predicted. Lu Shang and Leica flew back to the dungeon entrance to see how things were going after putting the people they had saved at a safe distance.

Leica asked, ”What happened? Where did that malicious aura come from?”

”This aura... Iʼve only felt it once before. But how can anything happen? This is Milordʼs strange aura from before!” Lu Shang said as he peered through the cracking pillars that supported the entrance of the Ruins of Time.

Ye Jieye and the others within have not emerged yet, so the Chief Warden scowled when he saw that the entrance was being demolished by this weird aura. The moment he saw the massive, recognizable head of Roi, he knew that everyone who was locked within had been safely extracted.

ROOOAAARRR~

Zhi Yue immediately looked around for Lord Hei. He wanted to inform their other lord about what happened to the God of Void.

”Where is Lord Hei!? Hurry. Find him! Something happened to Milord!!!” Zhi Yue shouted.

They are not far from them, hiding within the crowd. Tun Shizhe, who only provided minimal support to King Wang Xingmo, had fulfilled his duty. He watched the scene not too far from him with a knowing smile before approaching his contractee.

Tun Shizhe whispered to Wang Xingmo. ”The Calamity of Land is over. With this... Your wish has been fulfilled. Itʼs time for me to go. Before he returns and looks for me.” He blended with the shadows of the crowd and disappeared before Wang Xingmo could even speak up.

Wang Xingmo frowned in disbelief and mumbled, ”He left just like that. The calamity of the land is truly over.”

”Yes. This calamity of the land is over with that entrance into shambles,” Nameless said. Under everyoneʼs eyes, the two pillars that supported the entrance broke down, and the space rifts had all disappeared.

With the long-missing individuals making a comeback, this worldʼs second disaster has ended. As they welcomed the people who had been trapped in that dungeon and had at last made it back home, everyone cheered with joy.

The Heavenly Guardians assembled and proceeded to the location where Ye Jingya and the others were. Tears streaming down Mu Zangʼs face, he hurried in the direction of the man who had been with him every night in his dreams and nightmares. The one he believed he would always be without. Ye Jingya, his lover.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang shouted, ”Yaya!!” He jumped onto his man, who had spread his arms openly, to catch him firmly within his embrace. Itʼs their long-awaited reunion. Finally, their missing families have come back.

However, no one else could hear what Lu Shang, Leica, Zhi Yue, and Roi were discussing as they floated through the heavens, deep in conversation about something important.

It had now been possible for Mo Yuhan, Lu Ming, and Su Jin, who were leading the groups to fight and support, to exhale. They forgot about the dirt and dust and just laid down on the ground. They were too exhausted to gripe about their lack of resting places. They had fulfilled their obligation to safeguard this world.

Mo Yuhan said, ”Finally, itʼs done!”

”Not done yet. There is still one more calamity yet! We shouldnʼt let our guard down!” Lu Ming said.

Su Jin, who was watching Lu Shang and his group gather in the sky with serious faces, realized that maybe something big had happened after all.

”Maybe not all things have gone right. The instructors all look serious and unhappy,” Su Jin said.

Ji Yoonjun, who had overheard what Zhi Ye had said just now, was now frowning. He joined this group of three and informed them of what he heard.

”They said something had happened to Lord Ye. I donʼt know the details.”

”WHAT!!?” The three young men exclaimed in disbelief and incredulity.
