God's Imitator

After obtaining the reference data, Li Renshu quickly figured out where she had gone wrong before.

”I overlooked the fact that stores and cinemas are fundamentally different in their business logic.

”Stores sell daily necessities, which have rigid demand. Whether people have money or not, they have to go to stores. So no matter how remote a place is, there will always be at least one store.

”Moreover, stores can be big or small, and they cost almost nothing to open.

”But cinemas are different. People won’t engage in this kind of entertainment activity if they don’t have money.

”Furthermore, the cost of opening a cinema is very high. Even a small cinema requires a huge investment.

”So it’s perfectly normal for some small places and remote impoverished areas to have no cinemas at all. The logic for stores doesn’t apply to cinemas.

”I was so stupid, how could I make such a basic mistake!”

Xu Tong looked at Fu Chen with some confusion, ”Then how did the other side guess correctly both times? These kinds of questions are really difficult, aren’t they?”

Fu Chen thought seriously for a moment, ”The other side is indeed more confident than us. Not only did they answer both questions correctly, they also doubled down on their investments both times.”Tian Fan even said they would answer all questions correctly.

”Could they have obtained information about these market research questions through some channels? Or do their real-world professions involve similar research?”

Li Renshu was also thinking, ”Questions related to people’s livelihood are strongly correlated with daily life prices. Jiao Hongtao looks like a poor person, so he should have an advantage in this area.

”But Tian Fan’s confidence shouldn’t come entirely from Jiao Hongtao, it should also come from himself and Yang Hui.

”If we’re talking about which profession in reality would be particularly good at these types of questions... perhaps an actuary? Or a data analyst?

”It’s also possible that they discovered the ’virtual employee reporting data’ mechanism one step ahead of us, so they were prepared.”

Xu Tong consoled them, ”It’s okay, this is only two questions. We still have opportunities ahead.

”At least we’ve now figured out the basic pattern of this game.

”Even if the other side has shown better general knowledge than us so far, they can’t possibly know the answers to all questions.

”The key is still to collect data in advance, then do proper data calculations.

”Look, after Renshu got the data from the virtual employee, didn’t she immediately realize the correct answer?

”If we memorize more data and combine it with Renshu’s data calculation abilities, our success rate for future questions will definitely keep getting higher!”

Fu Chen nodded, ”Yes, I think so too.

”The urgent task now is to memorize all the data provided by the virtual employees. Who knows which piece of it might become a reference answer for future market research questions.”

Li Renshu thought for a moment, ”Is it possible to have Aunt Su complete this task?”

Xu Tong shook her head, ”No. I asked Aunt Su, and these kinds of pop-ups don’t appear on her computer.”

Li Renshu frowned slightly and fell into thought, ”That means employees report to senior management, and senior management summarizes the information before reporting to the CEO.

”This does conform to real company processes. Employees generally don’t have direct channels to report to the CEO.

”But this also means we must assign one person to constantly watch the computer screen and record all this data.

”This is difficult.

”Without paper, pens, or note-taking software, it’s manageable when there’s little data, but when there’s a lot of data, it’s easy to get confused or forget.”

Fu Chen suggested, ”Let’s take turns memorizing, with each of the three of us remembering one-third, or two people each remembering half.

”Having one person memorize everything would indeed be easy to get confused.

”Afterwards, we can consolidate the data and categorize it by the four fields to strengthen our memory. This way, when we choose categories, we can have the person who specifically memorized that category answer the questions.”

Li Renshu nodded, ”Yes, that’s a good approach.”

Fu Chen immediately headed to his senior management office, ”I’ll go watch the computer screen right now. You two go answer questions in the next round, good luck!”

Li Renshu operated on the computer for a while, setting Xu Tong as the person to go out for research and submitted the application.

Su Xiucen’s side quickly approved the application again.

Xu Tong also said, ”By the way, besides the data, I also discovered a special mechanism.

”In the ’Humanistic Care’ column, special employees appeared, basically all due to cancer caused by work-related injuries. Their cure rates vary, we can treat them with two different plans, or we can directly lay them off.”

Li Renshu opened her computer to check the corresponding interface.

However, at this time, the number of injured employees had become two.

This also meant that the total expenditure for conventional treatment had become 2000 minutes of visa time per month.

These work-injured employees weren’t transformed from normal company employees, but their detail pages also showed their years of service at the company, and they were generally much longer than normal employees.

After careful consideration, Li Renshu said, ”Since these are work-related injuries, there’s a high probability we can’t directly lay them off.

”This is a judgment game after all, we have to consider moral factors when making any decisions.

”Let’s maintain the status quo for now. Although special treatment is more likely to cure the employees, 5000 per month is too expensive. We don’t currently have such abundant funds.”

Before leaving, she looked at the company’s account balance again.

[Community 17 Limited Company]

[February company account balance: 109,000 minutes of visa time]

[March estimated income: 80,000 minutes of visa time]

[March estimated expenditure: 82,000 minutes of visa time] ...

In the external venue, a new round of market research began.

This was Xu Tong’s first time coming to the outdoor venue.

After staring at Tian Fan across from them for a while, Xu Tong leaned close to Li Renshu’s ear and said in a low voice, ”Tian Fan should be a boss, and a very domineering type of boss.”

Li Renshu was somewhat surprised, ”Hmm? How do you know? He’s obviously a core figure in Community 8, but I can’t determine his profession.”

Xu Tong explained, ”Trust the intuition of a senior HR. He should be the same type of player as Wang Yongxin, definitely very smart and very decisive. We must be careful.”

Li Renshu nodded.

[Now, please have Community 8 Limited Company choose a business field.]

Without much thought, Tian Fan leaned toward the microphone, ”Science.”

Li Renshu wasn’t too surprised, this was also within her expectations.

Although having Jiao Hongtao keep answering people’s livelihood questions would give Community 8 a greater chance of winning, they were probably still inclined to look at questions from all four fields first.

[A city’s core area covers approximately 700 square kilometers. Assuming each street light has a power of 150W, please estimate the electricity consumption of this city’s core area in one day due to street lighting.]

The input field on the tablet showed that the unit for this answer was ’kilowatt-hours.’

Both players from Community 8 showed surprised expressions on their faces. Obviously, they had no clue about this question either.

Compared to the previous two questions, the difficulty of this question had suddenly increased.

Whether due to lacking known conditions or making calculation errors, it was possible to get an answer that was completely wrong.ut Xu Tong and Li Renshu vaguely showed expressions of pleasant surprise, though they were trying hard to control themselves so the other side wouldn’t easily notice.

Because among the data that Xu Tong had seen on the computer before, there was related content.
