Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Of course, that is essentially ignoring the supernova explosion.

It’s not that the energy stored from his own evolution is that immense.

After all, the energy release of a supernova explosion isn’t concentrated in one point, so naturally he doesn’t have to be afraid.

As for how much energy he can store after the sixth deep evolution, it remains unknown for now.

While Lu Li was secretly excited, he was also a bit afraid of making the wrong guess.

He thought for a moment and then spoke to Liu Kexin and his mom and dad, who were still dumbfounded, ”Mom, Dad, Kexin.”

”Huh?”

”What?”

Liu Kexin, and his mom and dad snapped out of their shock.

Lu Li said, ”I have something to take care of and need to leave for a few days, just giving you a heads-up.”

His mom shivered in fear and said, ”Sinking an island country and a peninsula wasn’t enough? Are you really planning to end the world?”

She thought maybe her son hadn’t completely vented his anger and wanted to sink other countries during these few days.

Don’t blame her for thinking like that.

After witnessing Lu Li’s immense power, Liu Kexin and his dad had almost the same thought.

Lu Li said helplessly, ”Why would I destroy other countries for no reason? I’m not a nihilist.”

His dad wondered, ”Then why are you suddenly saying you need to leave for a few days?”

His mom and Liu Kexin looked equally curious.

Lu Li explained, ”Didn’t I tell you before that my power comes from continuous evolution after unlocking my genes?”

His mom nodded, ”Yes, you mentioned that.”

Lu Li continued, ”I now feel that I’m about to evolve to a higher level, and I need to absorb a massive amount of energy. If I stay on Earth any longer, the gamma-ray burst might not arrive, but Earth will already have been drained by me. So, I need to leave to find energy, complete this evolution, and avoid harming the innocent.”

His dad was dumbfounded, ”You could easily destroy Earth, and yet you can still evolve?”

Liu Kexin held her breath and asked with a hint of curiosity, ”If you evolve again, will you be able to destroy a star system with a wave of your hand?”

Lu Li smiled, ”According to my own estimates, if I complete this evolution, destroying a star system should be a piece of cake.”

As soon as he said that, Liu Kexin, his dad, and mom were all shocked.

They had previously thought that Lu Li’s boundless power was already the limit of individual power in the cosmos.

But they didn’t expect that Lu Li could actually become even stronger!

For a moment, his mom and dad both felt a bit dazed.

It was truly unimaginable for them, such ordinary people, to have a son comparable to a True God.

Liu Kexin couldn’t help but glance down at her belly, wondering if the child she and Lu Li would have could be just as powerful.

Lu Li sensed that his rate of energy absorption was increasing.

If he stayed here much longer, he might really drain Earth.

He straightforwardly said, ”Mom, Dad, Kexin, until I return, please stay inside the super base and don’t go anywhere. Although I’ve recently deterred the entire world, I can’t guarantee someone won’t have ill intentions. So for your safety, promise me you won’t leave this place.”

His dad immediately responded, ”Alright, Xiaoli, don’t worry, your mom, Kexin, and I will behave and not go wandering around.”

Liu Kexin added, ”Yes, take care of your business, and come back as soon as you’re done.”

His mom, although reluctant, showed her support.

Lu Li assured them confidently, ”Don’t worry, I promise to return to Earth before the gamma-ray burst arrives, and I definitely won’t let any harm come to you.”

After a brief chat, he transformed into a stream of light and left.

His mom, dad, and Liu Kexin kept looking up, seemingly trying to follow Lu Li’s trail.

Though they knew about Lu Li’s unmatched strength, cosmic space was too unknown to humankind, so naturally, they worried about Lu Li’s safety.

Aside from worrying, they were deeply curious.

Will Lu Li, after this deep evolution, truly have the capability to destroy star systems effortlessly?

Or will he really evolve into the ”all-knowing and omnipotent” god-like figure from myth?

Anyone would be interested in this question.

Not just his mom and dad and Liu Kexin, if physicists knew about this, it would cause an even bigger sensation.

Einstein once said, ”If God created the entire universe and all its physical laws, does God abide by the laws He created? Or can God transcend physical laws, like traveling faster than light, thus appearing in two different places simultaneously?”

If God can’t break physical laws, He can’t be as powerful as imagined.

But if God can, why haven’t we seen any evidence suggesting that physical laws in the universe have been broken?

Therefore, according to physics, being all-knowing and omnipotent doesn’t qualify as being truly God.

Only the ability to break universe rules qualifies as God in physical terms.

Naturally, his mom, dad, and Liu Kexin wanted to know how Lu Li would be after this deep evolution.

...

Actually, Lu Li was very interested in this question as well.

He had already acquired the theoretical ability of a ”physical god” but was limited by his own energy, unable to become a true god.

Therefore, Lu Li was keen to find out whether completing his sixth deep evolution would provide enough energy for him to establish new ”rules.”

If it can, then everything in this universe, whether living beings or inanimate objects, would lose all value and meaning to him.

Because he would reach a higher level, surpassing the realm of ”all-knowing and omnipotent.”

Although Lu Li felt that the chances of reaching such a ”higher dimension” were still small, given his immense power now, it was only natural for his mind to wander.

At that moment, he was speeding through space at over twenty percent of light speed.

Soon, he arrived at Venus.

Lu Li originally intended to continue flying, directly heading to the Sun to absorb a massive amount of energy from the star.

However, shortly after he set off, he suddenly found that his evolution speed had greatly increased, causing his internal energy consumption to become extremely intense.

”If I keep going, it’s very likely that my internal energy will be depleted before reaching the destination.”

As Lu Li rapidly descended, he thought to himself, ”No, I need to quickly summon the ’Sun God’ avatars to replenish my energy. Hopefully, they can work tirelessly through day and night to allow me to complete this sixth deep evolution.”

To prevent energy loss, as soon as he landed on Venus’s surface, he immediately suppressed any perceptions or activities that might consume energy, leaving only one ”Sun God” avatar to keep an eye on Earth to prevent anyone from harming his loved ones.

At this time, Lu Li suppressed his powerful senses, closed his eyes, blocked his hearing, and even forced his sense of touch to recede, making him seemingly no different from an ordinary person.

Nevertheless, he still felt that as more and more of the ”divine genes” in his body were unleashed, the energy consumption was so great that he couldn’t recover fast enough.

”Damn!”

Lu Li couldn’t help but curse, ”Why is the energy consumption so severe during this deep evolution? If this keeps up, I’m afraid my internal energy will truly be exhausted.”

What would happen if the energy was depleted?

Whether he could return to Earth was one thing.

Anyway, his physical body was immensely strong; even without the sustenance of energy, he could survive in the universe.

Lu Li feared he might wither away like a malnourished person would die from hunger.

”Please, don’t let this happen.”

He fretted internally, ”If I really die due to excessive energy loss from deep evolution, that would be too humiliating.”

As he thought about it, a golden light illuminated the entire atmosphere of Venus.

The next moment, a dazzling golden ”Sun God” avatar charged in, heading directly towards Lu Li’s body.

Even though Lu Li had shut down his powerful senses, the ”Sun God” avatars were a part of him, so of course, he could sense the arrival of Sun God No. 1.

He couldn’t help but feel secretly excited, ”The energy replenishment pack is finally here. As long as I absorb the energy, everything should be alright.”
