Eternal Thief

“Stop, you fool!”

Alina jumped back like a cat the moment she heard this familiar voice. Her face was crimson as she panted, and her heart was beating wildly.

But Ace was even more shocked, as it was his first time hearing this feminine voice. He looked at the source and saw a familiar black sword, translucent starry black, hovering beside Alina.

“Calamity Star Sword?” Ace’s eyes narrowed coldly as he looked at the sword he had gotten from the Sun and Moon Sword Union with the Mystic Bloodline Cist and Alina’s Celestial Titan bloodline.

Although he later discovered that everything seemed to be a trick of the Sun and Moon God, he was quickly able to overcome it, and he still had that token that carried the hidden soul.

But since Star had acknowledged Alina and the sword certainly knew about Ace’s secret, it never showed any signs of resistance.

However, this situation was unexpected, and Ace wasn’t expecting Star to bluntly interfere between them, not to mention…

“Who did you just call a Fool?” Ace coldly questioned the sword spirit.

Star replied with a hint of apprehension, “Please forgive coarseness, Lord Ace, but please hear me out. She’s walking on a path of no return; if that’s not foolish, I don’t know what is!”

“Star, shut up!” Alina calmed her nerves and fiercely shouted at Star with a hint of disbelief. She wasn’t expecting Star to suddenly come out and even start spilling the beans.

Ace was startled by Star’s unexpected comment. After seeing Alina’s reactions, he knew something was going on. He wasn’t a fool, and he instantly thought about Alina’s behavior today.

“What is going on here?” Ace was now in no mood for casual chit-chat. If there was something wrong with Alina, he needed to know no matter what!

Alina showed hesitation. She really wanted to tell him everything, but after Ace’s sudden move, she again started to hesitate. She was in a terrible dilemma and was afraid that Ace would start to resent her if she told him just after he wholeheartedly accepted her.

“Please give me a chance to elaborate. She’s overthinking this, and I think it’s harmful to her.” Star again spoke, ignoring Alina when she noticed Ace’s reaction.

“Can you go back? I’ll explain!” Alina eyes were bloodshot as she glared at Star.

“Clam down. Whatever it is, and whatever you’re thinking will happen, I can assure you it’s just your imagination. Don’t you trust me?” Ace spoke in a gentle tone as he approached her again and hugged her, and he could tell Alina’s mind was chaotic as she trembled in his arms.

While tightly holding her, he looked at Star with a grave expression and said, “Start speaking without hiding anything.”

Star became even more assured that Ace was really thinking in Alina’s favor and that Alina was just overreacting to the situation.

She asked, “Lord Ace, do you know Alina has a Fantastic Physique?”

Ace’s eyes flashed with a hint of surprise, but he honestly answered, “I know, but I don’t know what kind. Is her problem originating from this?”

“Just as I thought you knew.” Star didn’t seem surprised as she continued, “Then you should also be aware of their ranks?”

“No, I only know there are 9,999 Fantastic Physiques, and the same goes for Fantastic Meridians, and four-digit fantastic physiques or fantastic meridians (Rank 1,000th to 9,999th) are known as Mortal Tier or Mortal Grade,” Ace told the information he learned from the PHW King Sect.

“Indeed, there are a total of 9,999 Fantastic Physiques and 9,999 Fantastic Meridians, but there are also 9,999 Bloodlines as well. Their collective records are known as Supreme (Physique, Meridians, or Bloodline) Universal Records.

“Clans like Celestial, True Dragons, or Vampyres had Supreme Universal Records that can not only identify any recorded physiques, meridians, and bloodlines but also hold their secretive knowledge.

“Four-digits fall into rank of Mortal Grade, three-digit (100th to 999th) are called the Transcend Grade, two-digit (10th to 99th) are known as Deity Grade, and finally, the single digit (1st to 9th) are known as the Immortal Grade.

“However, this doesn’t mean there are only these 9,999 physiques, meridians, and bloodlines between Heaven and Abyss. It’s just that those who are not in the Supreme Universal Records are either not qualified to be denoted into it, or they are too elusive and way beyond the Immortal Tier.

“The Supreme Universal Records are magical, and no one knows their origin or who created them, but the top clans believed that the Natural Order, the very essence of governing laws and rules of our world, created them.

“And Alina here have the Pure Yin Sword Ruler Fantastic Physique, which is ranked 33rd in the Supreme Universal Physique Records, making it a Deity Grade Fantastic Physique. Any physique, meridian, or bloodline that can be ranked in the top hundred within the Supreme Universal Record is a pretty big deal.

“On top of that, the Celestial Titan Bloodline ranked 18th in the Supreme Bloodline Universal Records and is a Deity Grade Bloodline, which made her a top seed even among the Celestial Clan. If she could complete certain conditions and awake her bloodline source of her Celestial Bloodline, she’ll be unstoppable, and this Fantastic Physique is one of those conditions.”

Ace was shocked when he finally learned about the mysterious rankings of not only the Fantastic Physiques but also the Fantastic Meridians and Bloodline.

Furthermore, when he heard the single-digit ranks in this Supreme Universal Records were called the Immortal Tier, he instantly thought about his own bloodline.

‘Aetherial Crowned Empyrean was graded as Immortal Grade by the system!’ Ace’s heart pounded wildly as his resentment towards those Sages grew again. The more he learned about these secrets, the more he understood what had been seized from him and his parents.

But he knew it wasn’t the time to be inconsiderate; he asked grimly, “Then what’s the problem?”

“The problem is with the Yin Sword Ruler Fantastic Physique. This fantastic physique only appeared in females. This Deity Grade physique made her a natural-born sword genius. Once this physique is fully awake, it will enable her to comprehend the War Law, the mother law of the weapon path, without needing to master other weapons and turn them into her own unique law.

“However, the owner of the Yin Sword Ruler Fantastic Physique can’t lose their maidenhood for as long as they live, or the Yin Sword Ruler Fantastic Physique will vanish while robbing them of their ability to hold any sword or anything related to blades! They’ll become crippled!”
