Eternal Thief

Noa’s eyes flickered coldly when she saw the identity of the Guild Leader’s backer and muttered, “So, the Fiend Assassin Guild is founded by one of the Three Evils of Mortal Ascension Heaven!”

“Three Evils of Mortal Ascension Heaven? It sounds like something our Evil Thief might create!” Eva exclaimed with a hint of sarcasm.

Ace doesn’t refute Eva’s statement since she does have a point, but he isn’t in the mood to joke, and he knows Eva’s knowledge of the Mortal Ascension Heaven is limited.

So, Ace created a star slip and handed it over to Eva so she could catch up with the new information, especially about Orthodox and Heterodox Paths.

He then looked at Noa while Eva absorbed the information and said, “Now that you know that it’s the Nether Blood Fiend King Cult behind the Fiend Assassin Guild, I can’t send you back.

“After all, you’ve killed one of their members; no matter what kind of shady dealing he was doing, he was still their official member while you were only someone from a branch organization. They’ll probably execute you with fanfare to wash away this humiliation.

“We’ve been doing this the longest, so I don’t need to tell you there is always some kind of bigger trouble behind little trouble, and the Nether Blood Fiend King Cult is the biggest trouble there is.

“Furthermore, this place where the Thief’s House entrance is located right now is the middle of Runic King Crown Palace and another pawn of the Nether Blood Fiend King Cult, the Bloody Moon King Sect.

“You can only imagine how powerful the Nether Blood Fiend King Cult is by having a King sect under their thumb, not to mention that it’s only one among many. In fact, all the six strongest sects of the Mortal Ascension Heaven command such forces.

“Initially, I was planning to target the Nether Blood Fiend King Cult, but now I’m glad I didn’t because these six sects are not easy to get in, and even if you get inside, it’s fraught with dangers and factors, you can’t even imagine because they have living Ascension Kings!

“Even in this place where I am currently staying, this is only a sect city of the Runic King Crown Palace, and I’ve entered Zaria, a peak Ascension Lord!”

Ace sighed and said, “So, there’s no need to hurry anymore. Now that we know about the Nether Blood Fiend King Cult and its deep roots, we can always target them after returning from the Abyss.

“Especially with Moon Fiend King’s token. This token is a key to infiltrating the Nether Blood Fiend King Cult, and I’m sure the Moon Fiend King had already planned it for a long time because he left something that led straight to the Cult’s riches! That’s why I wanted to target them in the start!”

Ace’s words shocked Noa. She could only imagine how wealthy one of the six strongest sects of the Mortal Ascension Heaven would be, and all the members were working towards robbing such an organization.

Eva’s eyes flickered with an adventurous glint as she realized the status of the six most powerful sects, which were probably the Evernight Council of the Mortal Ascension Heaven.

Yet, Ace already had a method in his hand that could possibly empty the Nether Blood Fiend King Sect’s entire wealth!

At this moment, Noa finally relented; since Ace already had a way to get into the Nether Blood Fiend King Cult, she had nothing to worry about. However, there was still one thing that Ace hadn’t considered yet.

“I agree with Leader’s suggestion, but you have to take me with you when you go to the Nether Blood Fiend King Cult. Since it was supposed to be my next target, and it’s very dangerous, I can be your backup.” Noa suggested sincerely.

“He’ll go, don’t worry.” Eva agreed on Ace’s behalf before he could, and he glanced at her with uncertainty, feeling she was up to something.

Noa didn’t read between the lines since Ace didn’t refute it, which means he will keep Eva’s promise.

Then she suddenly demanded, “Now please send me back.”

Ace was flabbergasted and wanted to berate her when Eva suddenly sided with Noa.

“Now that her main objective is settled, she probably wants to finish what she started, right?” Eva smiled ambiguously, and Noa nodded without hesitation, a chilling light shinning in her eyes.

A sudden realization dawned on Ace at this moment. He instantly guessed what Noa was planning now that the Fiend Assassin Guild had already outlived their use.

“Alright, I won’t stop you from earning House Points. But be careful. The cult probably knew about their dead members, and they should be able to track them with that token. So, leave it in your cultivation chamber, as long as inside the thief’s house, they can’t track anything.

“But they will react quite quickly as you only have a day at most, and I’ll summon you back after 24 hours whether you like it or not.

“Oh, and if you have some talented people in mind for your remaining two acolyte spots, just bring them back since you needed them to upgrade your house rank. Don’t limit yourself just because you want to work alone; we also need all the help we can get in the Abyss.”

Ace told Noa meaningfully before he sent her back without waiting for her to protest or agree. He also issued a house mission to ensure she would follow his order seriously.

Once Noa was gone, Ace had a massive sigh of relief as he listlessly fell back to his chair as if exhausted after dealing with all the house members, and he knew he still had tons of things to prepare.

At this moment, Ace suddenly felt a light, soft body overlap with his own. It was filled with warmth and intoxicating scent, and a luscious face covered his view.

A soft whisper filled with lust rang in his brush past his ears, “You owe me a huge debt, Dearest ~! So, before others return, will you pay me back some~?”

Ace’s heart raced as her enthralling voice awoke his suppressed desires. Then he vigorously smiled and hugged her slender wrist. “Well, it seemed we had a big problem because you owed me debt as well. How about we just steal from each other? It’ll depend on our own skills. Who can ‘take’ more?”

“That’s unfair~” Eva retorted, but her voice was filled with hot stems as the clothes on her body began to vanish, and her body seemed on fire as if trying to melt with Ace’s.

“Tsk, you vicious devil!” Ace couldn’t hold back as he instantly vanished into the depths of the Everlasting Endearment Palace!
