Beneath the Red Dragon

As for Green Dragon Antajena, like other Giant Dragon Lords, she shares the ’power’ with the Ancestral Red Dragon.

”Your Excellency, the experiment has concluded, and both the data and related results are being compiled with preliminary findings,” the blond mage Mo Fanleid stepped forward, although his words were formal, he didn’t perform excessive rituals.

This renowned Holy Sanctuary Grandmaster in the Empire, like the Giant Dragons, consistently dislikes elaborate rituals, which is his personality. Therefore, Antajena had been advised by Karon not to intentionally mind them and to consider others’ habits as neither neglect nor provocation against the Giant Dragons.

Antajena stood on the number one platform of this gigantic laboratory, nodding slightly, aware of the mage’s talent and ability but not concerned.

In Antajena’s view, row upon row of laboratories showcased before her like neatly arranged grids.

The doors, windows, and walls of these laboratories are made from transparent magic glass steel, allowing her to see the interior conditions of the labs.

These densely packed, grid-like laboratories total twenty-five thousand and contain many diverse species beings.

There are humans, goblins, ogres, giant demons, elves, vampires, wolfmen, and even demons and devils are numerous.

However, unlike other Imperial citizens who volunteer as experimental subjects and can freely move around the laboratory, these Low Tier demons and devils are bound by tiny black anti-magic stone chains, unable to move, only able to emit sounds within certain fixed tonal thresholds.

Surrounding these diverse species experimental subjects are a multitude of enormous, peculiar magic instruments.

These magic instruments resemble a hollowed-out brain set on iron framework fixed to the ground. Several eyes carved from special synthetic gemstones are embedded in these instruments, connecting to the core of the magic instruments.

While these experimental subjects’ brains are overshadowed by these enormous magic instruments, judging from the subjects’ actions, some beings silently pray, some read books, and some watch the magic crystal images.

The twenty-five thousand diverse species beings engage in various activities, making sounds each peculiar and different.

With the emotional fluctuations and mental transformations of the experimental subjects, the eyes on those brain-like magic instruments light up in varied colors.

Red, orange, green, blue, indigo, violet, or even mixed hues.

These strange lights vary in length, stretching and contracting with the emotional fluctuations and mental changes of the subjects, like consciously aware rainbows jumping and stretching in these laboratories.

Green Dragon Antajena, unlike White Dragon Camid, fully mastering the Dragon-blood Source Desire, possesses wisdom to comprehend the significance, purpose, and process of these experiments.

These magic instruments can measure a certain frequency of mental energy emitted by the subjects.

Those rainbow-like varied colored lights represent a certain emotion of the experimental subjects.

For instance, love, hate, fear, violence, sadness, frustration, passion, joy, etc. Each emotionally representative rainbow wavelength, upon activation, denotes the maximal provision of special energy by the subjects’ emotions.

”Tell me about the results of the experiment, Mo Fanleid,” Green Dragon Antajena respects these wise great scholars, just like how Giant Dragons respect those with power.

”Hmm,”

Mo Fanleid gently gestured, taking a thick stack of experimental data handed over by his assistant, scanning it, and directly memorizing the entire experimental content.

Then summarizing with his own knowledge in clearer language rather than professional jargon to articulate the findings.

”Antajena Your Excellency, according to this experiment’s research, whether humans or the vast majority of other races, barring certain beings accidentally birthed from strong emotions.”

”The emotion frequency energy reaching its peak inside living beings isn’t ’love,’ nor ’hate,’” Mo Fanleid gently spoke: ”But rather an emotion capable of generating at least four thousand times the energy of love and hate.”

”This emotion is defined by us as authenticity!”

Green Dragon Antajena furrowed her brow, somewhat unable to grasp. ”Authenticity, what kind of mental emotion is it?”

Mo Fanleid thought for a moment, then expanded this slightly technical term to facilitate better comprehension by the Green Dragon Lord.

”If using other metaphors might diverge from its essence, but the general meaning is,”

”The true power comes from oneself, or to express it with one word — ’Integrity’!”

Mo Fanleid pointed to an extremely special laboratory at the center: ”Perhaps, the Alien God setting a goal for those unique beings, is urging them to discover their own power of integrity and thus gain strength.”

”While the Alien God’s little reward for these beings is a relatively inexpensive exchange.”

”Of course, this is just a preliminary guess and might not be true, requiring numerous comparative experiments for accurate results.”

”Are you saying, actually, everything those special beings experience is woven by the Alien God, harvesting these beings’ so-called power of truth?”

Antajena furrowed her brow, striving to analyze the mysterious essence within.

Mo Fanleid cleared his throat, couldn’t help but speak: ”Your Excellency just needs to convey the results to His Majesty.”
