Beneath the Red Dragon

The gleam of armor facing the sun, cold scales piece by piece, the legions of the Golden Empire pushing forward like a single line of steel wall.

The Centaur Corps warriors of the Death Knights, their hooves hitting the ground, each step rhythm matching the entire legion’s pace.

The towering bodies of the Golem Legion are not cumbersome, as their stepping nodes resonate with the legion’s rhythm, echoing the vast sound of the legion array advancing.

The five hundred War Lizard Heavy Armor Blade Team at the forefront, along with the mixed Heavy Armor Battle Corps, are the starting point and center of the legion’s resonance.

The steps of these Heavy Armor Warriors are sonorous and powerful, neither hurried nor slow, with each step almost perfectly matching in distance and timing.

Thud, thud, thud,

The continuous sound of steel heavy armor and weapons rubbing became a steel symphony, the imposing manner of a legion of thousands like a mountain shifting.

Among those observing both army formations from miles away, there were not only some intelligence spies under the guise of adventurers probing the power of the Golden Empire, but also various individuals with different intentions.

In the world, ordinary people and fools make up the majority, but the number of clever people is by no means small.

After the rise of the Five Kings of the Northern Continent consecutively, these major forces in what other regional civilizations regard as the wild areas have already been given much attention by most powers.

Except for the two Overlord Empires of the Central Continent, no force would disregard this.

It’s not only because the Five Kings of the Northern Continent each command astonishing powerful legions, occupying vast territories, seeming to have great potential for development.

More importantly, these Five Kings of the Northern Continent who are gaining fame, each one is rumored to be ambitious, with all but Charal Cesar, the Human Monarch of the Hobis Empire, considered evil in the conventional sense.

Although every mature person knows that the truth of the world cannot be judged by appearances, and the so-called evil and good camps are just stereotypes propagated by those in power and benefiting from the rhetoric.

However, not only do the majority influenced by the ideas output by a few think this way, but even the minority holding the truth and rhetoric of the world, after repeating a stereotype thousands of times, they themselves come to believe it firmly.

After all, in this world, there truly exist races that are inherently evil to the core and in their bloodline, though the self-proclaimed good human beings can be so evil that even demons in the Nine Prisons and the Abyssal demons have to bow down.

But the fundamental identification of a race is determined by the majority common practices and shared nature of the race.

This is why the Golden Empire, the Realm of the Dragons, has been given much attention.

Because the Dragon Emperor of the Golden Empire seems to have the ambition to unite all Five-Color Dragons in the world of Aikania, as can be seen from the ”Dragon’s Code” issued by the empire and its subsequent impact.

And this Ancestral Red Dragon seems to be on the path to success.

The disordered people are disorderly everywhere, but among the Giant Dragons, most are passively disorderly.

Some Giant Dragons are not only influenced by the Evil Dragon Blood; their nature seeks not freedom but absolute control masquerading as freedom over all existence.

This pursuit of freedom also means disorder, for a world of order does not want Giant Dragons or any species to achieve absolute freedom.

Yet the Golden Empire established by the Ancestral Red Dragon creates an order where these Giant Dragons, whether longing to break free from the influence of chaotic blood or pursuing freedom above all, can find their place.

With order embracing disorder, order accommodating disorder.

Reform means disorder, change means disorder, but the empire forged by the Ancestral Red Dragon and the Dragon Group drives continuous reform and change through order.

People are always pursuing outer freedom, freedom related to social structure, thus they are always resisting society, not opposing the internal psychological structure causing this society.

But because of the existence of order, people realize the so-called freedom and sense the state and concept of freedom, which also implies disorder does not mean true freedom.

Thus, people need not freedom but change, constant change.

People disguise themselves as pursuing freedom to resist society, continuously demanding new order to replace old order, endlessly.

But under the consciousness and system of the Golden Empire, they always have the opportunity to achieve the freedom they pursue through promoting the reform and change of the Golden Empire.

Under the Dragon Group, each race can find itself within order, establishing order over disorder, eventually relying on their abilities to break through themselves and achieve relative freedom.

Thus, whether Giant Dragons or other races, gradually are embraced by the order of the Golden Empire, their will unified by this culture of inclusivity and progression, becoming today’s Golden People.

This is the perspective published by several renowned scholars in Aikania on the influence of the growing strength of the Golden Empire.

These scholars publicly state that the success of the Golden Empire is inevitable, and if the Realm of the Dragons is allowed to develop, it will become unprecedentedly powerful.

The advanced productivity, advanced social system, advanced cultural ideology represented by the Golden Empire, ultimately representing advanced order, will naturally replace the old order and become the dominant civilization in the world of Aikania.
