Beneath the Red Dragon

In the long run, the cosmos will ultimately head towards heat death!

Everything, in its ordered state, inevitably tends towards the eventual brief yet unavoidable disorder, a final extinction that even the gods of great divine power cannot prevent.

Eventually, all things will end; it is merely a matter of time, so the meaning of life is the journey itself.

Karon stood motionless, his immense dragon body like a petrified stone lying for thousands of years, with the rhythm of his two hearts slowing almost to a halt, until life’s sound pulsed forth long after.

It was as if the very pulse of this Ancestral Red Dragon’s life neared the entire world’s pulse.

The Ancestral Red Dragon’s head rested on his coiled dragon tail, and on his closed eyelids, his bright red fine scales reflected varying lusters in response to the surrounding environment.

The vibrant red scales of his entire body flowed and moved spontaneously like living scale armor.

It was as if the very existence of this Red Dragon spontaneously absorbed the different radiation waves around him, the light beams of the sun, the magnetic field ripples of the earth, the magnetic waves of life and plants themselves.

His own fluctuations harmonized with everything in the surrounding world, constantly pulsating.

Yet to others and the Giant Dragons, the aura of the Ancestral Red Dragon remained constant, because it was undetectable.

Profound and deep as the ocean, born with all things in heaven and earth, coexisting with elemental magic power, appearing before their eyes, but beyond their perception.

His spirit roamed in the ocean of the laws of the plane world, an involuntary emotion erupted from within his heart.

A True Dragon should dwell where there are no ceilings.

No self-imposed limits, disregarding others’ shackles, nor dwelling beneath the dome of a plane world.

The fetters of the Evil Dragon Bloodline are but a trivial obstacle on the path forward.

From his infancy, Karon has always moved in his own direction, he slew his own weakness, extinguished his own laziness, and controlled his own desires.

But this does not mean this Ancestral Red Dragon is like those who single-mindedly seek the path to the exclusion of everything else.

Karon also experiences the scenery around him, the things and beings he encountered on his journeys.

The empire he created serves him, serves the Dragon Group, and serves his goal of moving forward. But when he has the strength, he also hopes to make his empire better, to provide better lives for the citizens of the empire.

The Dragon Group is freed from the confusion of beastliness and evil blood, no longer like beasts.

He is also willing to lead the entire race of Giant Dragons out of such distressed circumstances.

Perhaps this is the thought contained in the souls that once lived under the realm of the fiery sun, when in poverty, one perfects oneself; when successful, one helps the world.

Because now Karon is a Dragon, the Dragon race is the foundation of his race and civilization, at least in this regard, he feels he has never been unworthy of the title of Dragon Emperor.

Perhaps, this is also the reason Karon was reincarnated as a Red Dragon instead of a Giant Dragon of another scale color.

But now, all the past goals and thoughts in his mind were completely forgotten by this Ancestral Red Dragon.

Karon forgot his instinct as an Ancestral Red Dragon, forgot the existence of his body, and even forgot the profound understanding of all powers ingrained in his instincts.

He even forgot to rely on his own subjective spiritual power to consume his mana and strength, to pry the world’s rules, thereby inducing the energy operation laws under world rules to release the effects of magic.

Karon took advantage of the opportunity of the World Tree taking root in the plane origin to try to touch the rules that make up the plane world, but what came was the baptism and impact of the historical torrent of the world’s birth.

This world, since its inception, exists in the world’s own memory, revealing as if historical phantoms.

Although these historical phantoms flashed like slides in Karon’s mind, they also allowed the Ancestral Red Dragon to keenly feel that eternal solitude, where the passage of time precipitated all desolation.

All the activities of life in the world, in the motionless, eternal world beneath his feet, seemed like fleeting phantoms.

As if the world itself was also observing the myriad forms of life among the mortal world over thousands of years, the joys and sorrows of life.

”Perhaps thousands of years later, I too will become as motionless as the world beneath my feet, with a calm and indifferent understanding of all things.”

The Ancestral Red Dragon couldn’t help but think in his mind.

No matter how strong the will, no matter how profound the emotion, under the endless wash of time, can they still maintain their original appearance?

All ambitions, all feelings, after oceans dry up and rocks crumble, after time passes and worlds change, may no longer matter.

”Then, how do those god-like beings almost incarnated as rules cope with this grind of time,”

”Or is it that the divine positions of those gods high atop the Star Realm Throne contain their secret,”

Ripples passed through Karon’s mind; even immersed in such tranquility, his brain continued instinctively and ceaselessly thinking.

Although Karon dislikes the interference of the Evil Dragon Blood on his independent will, he does not consider the Evil Dragon Blood as something to be discarded, but regards the Evil Dragon Blood as part of himself.

Under such circumstances, the poison and chaos of the Evil Dragon Blood instead became controlled by the Ancestral Red Dragon, becoming one of his powers.

But the ferocity and poison contained within the Evil Dragon Blood, or rather the initial ignorant beastliness, were borne by Karon’s Dragon Descendant form.
