Beneath the Red Dragon

In the deep winter season, when the long, stormy night finally ushered in the first exceptionally warm ray of sunlight in the morning, what kind of feeling is it that shines on the tired and cold body of life?

This is the first feeling experienced by all living beings, except for the Golden Empire Legion present, after the departure of the Empire’s Dragon Emperor.

For the giant dragons and legion warriors of the Golden Empire, the arrival of the Ancestral Red Dragon is confidence, the warm red sun, the dominator of world order.

But for the Frost Giant Corps and other wild dragons, as well as those observers with different hearts, the arrival of the Ancestral Red Dragon is a black sun that devours all warmth and heat.

It is in the material sense of the present world, as well as in the spiritual domain.

Thus, the oppressive and exclusive nature of the imperial domain under the cohesion of legion will can be seen.

The consciousness of the Ancestral Red Dragon had long departed. What remained was a statue purely made of various metals, with four claws resting on the solitary high fort on the hill, standing proudly, wings furled downward, gazing northward.

This statue’s northward gaze deterred the Frost Giants from marching southward.

It also serves as a reminder to the King of Frost Giants that the Emperor of the Empire has always been watching his progress, urging this King of Frost Giants not to slacken.

Countless observers watched the remaining statue, so lifelike. Each dragon scale seemed to have grown on the true dragon body, without being abrupt due to the metallic base color.

From a certain angle of analysis, this Ancestral Red Dragon has quite the accomplishment in Alchemy, Curse Magic, and the Creation System.

Even if these people were unaware, for Karon, the whole faction of magical disciplines was only summarized as one series in his study, but also astonished at the knowledge and power mastered by this Ancestral Red Dragon.

Moreover, if any caster could obtain this statue, it would be enough to immediately forge an incredibly powerful golem.

The energy transmission pathways and perfect shaping left by the Ancestral Red Dragon require no extra effort from these casters.

One only needs to install an energy core sufficient to drive this golem, along with a tough enough elemental essence, to obtain a guardian almost indestructible by mortal forces.

Unfortunately, even though the observing casters were eager, none dared harbor any crooked thoughts. Not to mention the military edge of the Golden Empire, enough to make most retreat.

Who could know that the consciousness of the Ancestral Red Dragon wouldn’t descend anew the moment you touch the statue?

Even those wild dragons struggled to suppress their greedy desire for Evil Dragon Blood, merely drooling and staring at the statue, eyes gleaming without any other action.

”To be honest, I feel that even the Ancient Dragons within the clan might be hard to match his majesty.” Grella Helika’s tail swung again, as if after the departure of the Ancestral Red Dragon, the stiff tail reconnected with the neural network of this Blue Dragon.

”And he’s yet to descend in true form. It’s hard to imagine how dragons like us might be intimidated in spirit, like those beasts facing us, when facing his true form.”

The leader of the Helika Blue Dragon Clan is an Ancient Blue Dragon. Although some dragons say there exist Primordial Blue Dragons within the clan, such dragons rarely roam actively outside.

But another young Blue Dragon, Collem, noticed another aspect.

Collem’s fierce head nodded lightly forward, the unicorn horn directed at the Blue Dragon Akzhi and other imperial dragons stepping forward in the field, speaking softly: ”Look, the eyes of the Golden Empire’s dragons.”

Grella Helika and the female Blue Dragon Sabrina then noticed. In the dragon’s vision, they could clearly see the most unique commonality of the Golden Empire’s dragons.

Perhaps many years later, many important scenes they won’t remember clearly, but will remember the eyes of these dragons.

Whether it is the fierce and brave Blue Dragon Species, or the wise ignorant White Dragon Species akin to beasts. In the eyes of these Golden Empire’s dragons, there is no resentment characteristic of Colorful Dragons, only tranquility.

The three Blue Dragons turned their heads, gaze meeting gaze. Even though they belong to the orderly Helika Blue Dragon Clan, every dragon’s eyes contain the inherent coldness of dragons besides the natural brutality brought by Evil Dragon Blood.

Even if deeply hidden, even if tempered by wisdom, even if an Ancient Blue Dragon can partially overcome the infection of Evil Dragon Blood, this terrifying appearance that mortals fear can be easily discerned in their pupils.

This is also one of the reasons other species in the world keep a respectful distance from dragons.

Because such brutality is like the boiling magma beneath a calm volcano. Perhaps a tiny trigger could erupt this dangerous volcano.

Metal Dragons are no exception, only many Metal Dragons lack the inherent chaotic interference of Five-Color Dragons.

”How did they manage to do this?” Grella Helika couldn’t help but wonder. The short battle between Blue Dragon Akzhi and White Dragon Saclese flashed through the minds of these Blue Dragons, the sudden conspicuousness of chaos, darkness, and brutality on the White Dragon’s body.

”Achieve turning the shackles and poisons of bloodline into their strength and weapon, and not entirely separating it?”
