Beneath the Red Dragon

White Dragon Saclese, accompanied by his last remaining tribe, followed behind the dragons of the Golden Empire.

The name of this White Dragon bears resemblance to that of the Legendary Demon Sakres, yet their powers are vastly different.

It’s not that the talent of White Dragon Saclese is immeasurably inferior to that of the Legendary Demon.

White Dragons are the weakest among the Five-Color Dragons, and having strength close to Legendary Level by adulthood is already exceptionally outstanding; otherwise, this White Dragon couldn’t have battled the Frost Giant King for many years.

But Saclese is now not only no match for the Frost Giant King, he cannot even defeat Blue Dragon Akzhi at the end of adolescence.

This doesn’t mean that Blue Dragon Akzhi is stronger than Saclese, even though Akzhi’s talent is also outstanding, receiving boundless resources from the Empire.

Blue Dragon Akzhi not only learned the Empire’s unique Secret Technique of Dragon’s Proof, but also seized the opportunity for evolution and gained some knowledge from the Ancestral Red Dragon.

A full two age-group gap is an insurmountable ladder of normal bloodlines. Because Blue Dragon Akzhi has completely grasped the Evil Dragon Blood, he followed the guidance of the Secret Technique and stepped on the path to reviving higher levels of the Evil Dragon Bloodline.

But Akzhi isn’t stronger than Saclese, yet he can compete against White Dragon Saclese, because power, in Akzhi’s view now, is not merely the facade of power.

While in Saclese’s eyes, power merely represents strength; it’s the body of a dragon, the talent of a dragon.

This is the commonality of almost all dragons, as dragons are inherently stronger than most other races, allowing them to overpower others.

No one can say it’s wrong for dragons to do this, because their talent supports it, and they should exert their greatest advantage.

Unfortunately, the dragons of the Golden Empire possess not only this advantage but also much more.

In Saclese’s view, even the formerly insignificant and weak-looking White Dragon Sloraka and his little follower, White Dragon Roni, now have a completely different appearance.

It’s as if, they are from two different races than the White Dragon Tribe on the Frost Plain, as the nobility born from spiritual and inner change, not the inherent majesty of dragons.

Even in appearance, they are more attractive than the White Dragons of the Frost Plain.

”Is this the transformation from the baptism of civilization or is it,” questions arose in the seldom-thinking mind of the White Dragon, making this powerful dragon feel chaos and pain in his thoughts.

Dragons inherently possess higher intelligence than humans.

Despite White Dragons being inferior, their intellect grows with age. So when a dragon truly uses its mind, it’s difficult for it to be foolish.

However, like some talents, your mind, if not cherished, will be taken away by heaven.

Accustomed to not thinking, the brain subtly degenerates, limiting the logic, depth, and breadth of thought.

Intelligence doesn’t degrade, but the mind feels like it’s been stirred by paste, struggling to operate quickly.

Nonetheless, Saclese has his method; he expelled two streams of white frost from his nostrils, as if expelling chaotic thoughts too.

He abandoned thinking and felt his mind become clear again, yes, it was this feeling, indeed.

”Why doesn’t the Gogomola Dragon Group entirely rule the Frost Giant Tribe? Even if they dare to resist, the Gogomola Dragon Group has the power to annihilate their forces.”

Saclese stepped forward, his enormous body keeping close to the Golden Empire’s dragons, voicing his question.

In Saclese’s eyes, he undeniably considers himself part of the Gogomola Dragon Group. Even though he can’t hold a supreme position in the tribe as before, his strength and the few White Dragons he commanded will still be valued by the Gogomola Dragon Group.

But Blue Dragon Akzhi didn’t answer his question; instead, he looked at the Blue Dragons, born knowing how to ride the flowing wind, and a few hesitant Wild Dragons.

Only White Dragon Roni, this female White Dragon turned her head, her clear cold eyes gazing at this particularly large White Dragon, softly asked, ”Why did you agree to let us leave the White Dragon Tribe with Sloraka initially?”

”Hmph,” Saclese sneered, a sarcastic grin on his fierce face, and said loudly, ”Just a few weak White Dragons, your strength doesn’t help me at all; I simply didn’t bother to personally capture you back.”

”Precisely because of this, you didn’t become prisoners of the Empire,” the young White Dragon Sloraka turned and said blandly, ”According to the Empire’s regulations, dragons like you are only useful to the Empire if captured and subjected to forced transformation.”

The young White Dragon Sloraka’s eyes were filled with profound meaning, he spoke softly, ”Where there is a day of ascent, there must be a time of decline; if the Empire rises through pure violence, then it will also fall in pure violence.”

”It’s normal that you can’t understand; after all, I’m also a White Dragon,” Sloraka revealed a mocking smile.

”What do you mean?”
