Beneath the Red Dragon

The weave of mana and the flux of runes are so rapid and complete that in the eyes of each Giant Dragon, the spell manifestation effects around the Ancestral Red Dragon vary, and they can only perceive the knowledge they understand and have mastered.

What the Female Red Dragon Kleyna saw was magic about Fire Magic, fluctuating in her vision, with flames flickering and darting across the Ancestral Red Dragon’s body, shimmering inconsistently, overlapping luminous and dim areas, like the transition between dawn and dusk.

Within the rune weave of these flames, there were spells ranging from Trick to Nine-Ring, from low-level Fire Control Skill to high-tier Cloud Burning Skill. Any Fire Attribute magic had a corresponding model within, leading Kleyna into a kind of learning state for a moment.

What the two White Dragons saw was knowledge and specific spell models about Ice Magic, from Mage Tricks like Touch of Frost at the entry level to middle-high tier Ice Magic.

Among them, the White Dragon Lord Gomot also comprehended other knowledge, like Anti-Magic Field and Phantom Giant Dragon, such peculiar spells.

The two Blue Dragons saw understandings and applications about thunder and lightning on the surface of the Ancestral Red Dragon’s body, including some manipulation techniques.

Such as Chain Lightning and Weather Control, and the knowledge of how to utilize and construct the Magnetic Field, and to use electromagnetic acceleration.

Antajena the Green Dragon excitedly approached the body of the Ancestral Red Dragon. Although a sixteen-meter-long Green Dragon was already a leader among the Green Dragon Species, in front of the Ancestral Red Dragon’s body, it was like a pilgrim observing a sculpture.

But what Green Dragon Antajena saw wasn’t any powerful spell, but some spells learned and discarded by the Ancestral Red Dragon, like Flattery, Mind Domination, Telepathy, and Idiot Spell.

What the Black Dragon Lord Rosani saw was the techniques and related spells about the Ancestral Red Dragon’s manipulation of the Earth Domain, as well as the research on the skeleton of the Legendary Demon Sakres, with rule runes etched on the demon’s bones.

These Giant Dragons indulged themselves in the tip of the iceberg inadvertently revealed by the Ancestral Red Dragon, yet none could realize a single point.

The rune weave on Karon’s body, every time it outlined a corresponding spell model, abruptly stopped before triggering the corresponding Magic Effect, without arousing the power that the magical effect ought to have. This exhibits an astonishing comprehension and control.

The vast majority of Casters today, even though they are of equal level with this Ancestral Red Dragon or several levels higher, can’t maintain the Mage’s inherent advantage in his presence.

Those powerful techniques and secret arts that mages emphasize, such as Strong Spell, Extreme Spell Effect, etc., are nothing more than casual techniques in front of Karon, akin to child’s play.

Because the essence of these techniques is to outline the spell model, induce the effect of the spell, and enhance the power of the magic effect thereby strengthening the power of the spell.

Yet the Ancestral Red Dragon can directly alter the effect at the essential rule of magic effect creation; if Karon is willing, he could even delineate the threshold of magical effect triggered by each spell he masters utilizing his potent Spiritual Power.

In simple terms, Karon can make a Trick unleash far beyond its level of power, or make a Nine-Ring spell completely dissolve its magical effect power—similar to certain Silence Skills, but Karon achieves this by suppressing the threshold for the magic effect’s play.

In this ordinary comparative reference and the swift computational operation of two brains, Karon quickly identified the corresponding rules and essence behind the spells he mastered from among the densely woven integral World Origin.

With these thread-like traces, Karon can begin to unravel the things he wants to do from scratch.

Without the medium of spells and Magic Knowledge, even the evolved mind of the Ancestral Red Dragon can hardly directly comprehend the laws of the planes, but fortunately, Karon does not intend this.

The Ancestral Red Dragon, through this rare opportunity, calculates and deduces his future path—the path of ascension to Legend, as well as the path of Legendary Law of Destiny.

Those rules cannot be grasped or swiftly learned by the Ancestral Red Dragon, yet in Karon’s formidable computational prowess, these rules’ existence becomes an already established quantifiable attribute integrated into the future model calculated by Karon, paired with his mastery of power and understanding of relevant rules, deducing his path.

From what was comprehended from Legendary Demon Sakres, using the method of gathering to delineate the path he wishes to pursue.

Quantitative and variable computation of the earth and metal, thunder and flame mastered by Karon, as well as the authority of the storm to be mastered in the future.

The evolution of Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire empty consciousness that constructs the world’s foundation, the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth originating as the pillars of world creation, the four great forces of the cosmos as the world’s body.

The rapid flow of quantifiable and variable laws constituting the root source of the World Origin within this plane, eventually forming a robust world system capable of encompassing voluminous laws.

Just like Legendary Demon Sakres’s Demon Country, condensing the Power of Origin from thousands of Demon Lords.

But soon, Karon frowned.

For according to his way using Legendary Demon Sakres, construct his own cognitive and law system, even if indeed accomplished successfully, a single world is difficult to accommodate all rules.

Just like in the cosmos, besides various orderly Prime Material Planes, there are chaotic Abyss Planes, Shadow Planes, and Nine Prisons Planes of evil; the underlying rules of these planes vary, but undoubtedly, they possess rules of their own support.

To aspire to complete Karon’s ideas in the manner of Legendary Demon Sakres is delusional and many thousands of times harder than the Chaos Law Sakres pursues.

Only by constructing the entire cosmos may it be possible to bear Karon’s goal of enfolding all laws.

”Wrong, the direction is mistaken,”

Karon murmured quietly; in this instant, he abandoned the idea, withdrawing his consciousness from the ocean of World Origin back into his body.

”This is the path of Legendary Demon Sakres, not mine, therefore constructing a basic law world then slowly filling with the path of gathering is fundamentally wrong in pursuing that law of ensuing everything.”

”The path of others is but a reference; I must possess my own path,”

”I must recognize whether such a law exists in this world, the Dao that encompasses everything, and if not, whether it could be created.”

Karon raised his giant head, dragon horns like the emperor’s crown and True Dragon’s scepter, silent eyes flowing with layers of information and sparks of wisdom.

”Whether these laws exist or not, I must first possess the concept and conviction of these laws to proceed along this course. Sakres seeks his road through gathering,”

”And I do so by exhaustive exploration, probing my future, where all knowledge and heritage will form that uncertain existence within the framework of my concept, and then give rise to my Celestial Destiny Law.”

The Ancestral Red Dragon bared his fangs, grinning viciously on his cheeks.

”Perhaps, the Legendary Celestial Destiny Law is so density becoming one’s own rules, able to possess the power to slash through fate’s barriers, and more powerfully, to establish one’s laws and create one’s concepts that form real laws.”

”This is perhaps the genuine difference between Legend and those of less magnitude!”

The laughter of the Ancestral Red Dragon reverberated under the World Tree, with vivid scales reflecting radiant waves of light like a red sun rising, enlightening the great Dao.

”I think I found my way, but how to condense my concepts to form a substantive concept? Despite the immense strength of my spirit, it’s still somewhat baffling.”

”It seems that no matter the path, strength ultimately serves merely as a means and tool; magic is but my tool, my means of seeing the essence of the world, seeing myself.”

”Just like magic shouldn’t be measured by power, but by the wisdom behind its creation; the wisdom behind magic birth is the tool to see the world’s essence, ultimately leading to recognizing the world, recognizing oneself.”

”To nurture with infinite wisdom, to ascend with endless knowledge, exhaustive exploration; this is my path to Legend.” Karon suddenly sighed, ”Though ascending to Legend is close within sight, traceable, the path beyond Legend is endless, and I shall forever climb.”
