Beneath the Red Dragon

”Moreover, those high and mighty Casters, the Imperial development strategy is completely different from those Casters, this is a conflict of thought and ideas.”

”The Imperial efforts to popularize Magic Knowledge and standardize and scale the use of Magic Technology, has never occurred in the Icaria World.”

”The high and mighty Caster group, much like those nobility adhering to decaying systems, will never sit back and watch such things happen, nor will they emulate or promote such changes.”

”They lack a system like the Empire’s, so if the use of magic were popularized, the exalted status of Casters would be shaken to its foundations, and these vested interest groups would never allow anyone to undermine their interests.”

”The existing conflicts within the Empire should not have erupted at this time; it’s simply been catalyzed by those with ulterior motives.”

Baal smiled and said, ”So, don’t be impatient, His Majesty is profoundly wise, holding the reins of power firmly, naturally he has his considerations, like a Giant Dragon in slumber, shocking the world with a single roar.”

”I just feel some regret,” Green said calmly.

The scholars of the Central Council have already presented an issue to the Emperor of the Empire.

Within this vast system of the Empire, holders of supreme power cannot gain immortality due to achievements.

Because immortality would gradually fossilize some people’s thoughts, and they hold power, resulting in the Empire’s civilization unable to fulfill the Emperor’s ideas and will.”

Regardless of whether the thoughts of these scholars and high officials are feasible, some Giant Dragon Lords have also grown a degree of admiration for these scholars.

Baal laughed heartily, filled with grand vigor.

He watched the fiery aura rising dramatically from the peaks, curling into the shape of a sun, laughing loudly, ”What’s there to regret, these mountains and seas, millions of miles of rivers and mountains, naturally have our successors, continuing the civilization of the Empire with new Chapters.”

”We pioneers will leave our own vivid mark in the history of the Golden Empire’s civilization, and that’s enough!”

...

The Governor’s Mansion welcomed a beautiful guest.

Bronze Dragon Alina has resided in the Imperial Governor’s Mansion for years, rarely returning to her own lair.

Alina once thought about building her own castle upon seeing the Ancestral Red Dragon’s back garden.

However, after ruling the Empire for many years, Bronze Dragon Alina deeply understands that wealth does not come easily, so she dismissed the idea of building her own castle, absolutely not because she was unwilling to bleed.

As for Red Copper Dragon Alfred, the castle under construction on the peak of this Imperial Minister of Propaganda has nothing to do with Bronze Dragon Alina.

Bronze Dragon Alina merely often provides, uh, some suggestions to her spouse.

However, when Alina lifted her head from the castle blueprint, she saw an unexpected yet reasonable guest: Adult Silver Dragon Chris Tianna.

In the Governor’s Mansion, Bronze Dragon usually appears in humanoid form.

Although Alina’s humanoid form is similarly a tall beauty, it pales in comparison to the famed beauty of Silver Dragons.

Especially the Adult Silver Dragon, whose bashful expression due to inner thoughts, carried a charm akin to a lost deer that Alina found endearingly attractive.

However, the different majesty from the upper echelons of the Giant Dragon Bloodline that Bronze Dragon possesses added a unique charm to Alina.

”Chris, what’s the matter?”

Bronze Dragon Alina directly asked, not out of disrespect for Silver Dragon Chris, but due to the direct nature of dragons themselves, and years of presiding over the Empire led to a profound aversion to complicated formalities.

Silver Dragon Chris’s beautiful eyes looked at this increasingly dignified Female Governor, whose talents made the proud Silver Dragon deeply admired. But more importantly, the unparalleled trust of the Ancestral Red Dragon in this Bronze Dragon made Chris deeply envious.

”Alina, am I about to leave the Empire? My position is already dismissed; has the Empire decided my future?”

Silver Dragon Chris gathered courage to ask, but this question made Bronze Dragon Alina smile.

”Hmm, Karon has made a decision, maybe in a few days, he’ll take time to see you,” Alina smiled, ”Isn’t this outcome exactly what you desired, leaving this place governed by wickedness, returning to the realm of justice and light unique to Silver Dragons.”

Silver Dragon Chris shook her head, bashfully annoyed, ”Don’t mock me, Alina. I’m only here to seek your help.”

Bronze Dragon Alina shook her head, softly saying, ”Why should I help you, persuade Karon to change his mind and keep you here? Chris, although we are familiar, and I admire your effort and responsibility, we are not friends nor do we share common interests.”

Silver Dragon Chris bit her Shell Jade-like teeth, was silent for a while, then said, ”People are socially divided, and among any small group, factions will naturally occur.”

”Ruling the Imperial Gogomola Dragon Group not only includes the Five-Color Dragon and Metal Dragon, but also other Giant Dragon Species. Because of differing Scale color and bloodlines, and joining Dragon Group at different times, followers cannot integrate into the Gogomola Dragon Group, forming their own camps and stands with their own claims and interests.”

”I’ve stayed in the Golden Empire long enough to sense that within the Gogomola Dragon Group, they do not consider those subsequent Giant Dragons as their companions.”

”Future Gogomola Dragon Group will not only have the Five-Color Dragon camp, Metal Dragon camp, Sub-Dragon camp, but also Gem Dragons, and camps of other Giant Dragon Species.”
