Beneath the Red Dragon

Perhaps the Overlord Empire hasn’t noticed, but on the Northern Continent, other forces, including several Imperial powers and the noble principalities and kingdoms of the southern continent, have begun to spot signs of this trend.

The territories of these nobility are gradually becoming dumping grounds for the products and processed goods of the Golden Empire. Under some economic policies of that vile Giant Dragon, Steel Dragon Midir, they are mobilizing the vast economic system of the entire Empire, turning other noble territories into fields ripe for the Golden Empire’s harvest.

The advanced productivity of the Golden Empire is sufficient to produce a large quantity of cheap goods, crowding out the markets within these noble territories.

This includes weapons, armaments, armor, arcane materials, magic items, cheap scrolls, clothing, and even ordinary household items.

They can’t directly refuse the trade relations with the Golden Empire because of their interests, and their neighbors are simultaneously conducting trade with the Golden Empire; gains and losses lead to strength weakening, loss of interests, and eventually annexation.

Of course, those nobles can raise relevant taxes and tariffs to effectively curb this unilateral trade deficit and flow of interests, but it is just treating the symptoms and not the root cause.

Unless all nobility unite to form an alliance against the increasingly terrifying economic entity of the Golden Empire, or else, a grand future war to divide the Golden Empire’s strength and interests.

Because once this Ancestral Red Dragon succeeds, the Gogomola Dragon Group, almost akin to the ancient Dragon Lords who ruled the world, will be unified into the Five-Colored Dragon Race, along with immense wealth and legion strength; nobody wishes to see this happening.

Therefore, those who come here are almost never purely out of curiosity; during the months of confrontation between the Golden Empire and the Frost Giants, even those roaming Wild Dragons are observing the changes in this dispute with their own goals in mind.

”The Legion Warriors of the Golden Empire are not just formidable monsters but also loyal sons of established households. Their will to fight is vastly different from those sons of farmer recruits of the nobles and the usual daredevils who only flaunt their bravado—a world apart with no possibility of comparison,”

Liya Ciser stood on the hilltop, gazing into the distance at the Golden Empire’s orderly military formation, pondering.

Glittering green crystalline light appeared in the eyes of this noble lady, a power harnessed by Charal Ciser, the Monarch of the Hobis Empire, after successfully killing the consciousness of the Void Evil God attached to him, gaining Void Power, Void Dark Energy Power.

This Princess of the Hobis Empire has come all this way.

Yet from her battle armor, which has become somewhat worn out, and her style akin to an ordinary Female Mercenary Warrior, it is evident that Liya Ciser was no longer the once pampered girl, but one honed through hardships.

Always following beside this Princess is the steward, Nali, now dressed as a warrior among mortals, but his grayish-white long hair was still neatly tied at the back.

”Now the military strength of the Golden Empire surpasses the Dark Energy Corps of the Empire, but thankfully, with the barrier of the Divine Forsaken Mountain Range, there is no substantial conflict between the Empire and the Dragon Group for the time being.”

Nali’s still robust body stood tall, two heads taller than Liya Ciser, yet forever standing behind the Princess.

”But the King of Multi-Armed Giants, Mogyes, in the Divine Forsaken Mountain Range, has become the Empire’s great enemy. It’s uncertain whether this King of Multi-Armed Giants, after unifying the mountain range, will head north or choose to head south.”

”And whether this King among Dragons will, as rumored, have ambitions to annex the seas and mountains surrounding them!”

Liya Ciser sighed softly, her beautiful face unscathed by the elements, but the years have erased the innocence from her eyes.

Nali also did not know, despite being learned and wide-eyed, he couldn’t guess future signs from the unrevealed surface.

”It seems not only we are concerned about these issues, but others are curious as well,” Nali scanned his gaze towards those watching the confrontation between the two forces from afar.

”Giant God’s Spear” Lemond, the renowned Beastman Warrior, rising to fame in the Dragon Group Territory, vying for the crown of undefeated among thousand victories alongside other powerful beings from various races.

But this Beastman Warrior arrived only after the war between the Beastman Empire and the Dragon Country ended, undoubtedly with powerful forces hidden behind him.

”Dawn Divine Sword” Kai Luo, the Sword Saint esteemed among human nations, although alternately winning and losing in the Golden Empire’s Imperial Colosseum, his exquisite swordsmanship is undisputedly acknowledged, as many factors decide victory.

Many eagerly anticipate a duel between this Dawn Divine Sword and the rising War Lizard Sword Saint Reilly from the Golden Empire.

However, Nali knew, this Kai Luo was a powerhouse cultivated from a certain kingdom in the Central Continent, perhaps harboring unspeakable motives towards this Golden Empire.

A few Dwarf Warriors stood far atop the grassy gentle hill, but under the glance of Void Power, Nali clearly saw the faces of these Dwarves.

Adept at mining iron and forging weapons and armor, these Dwarves were clad in armor, seemingly no less impressive than the heavy armor worn by Golden Empire Legion Warriors.

But the metal netting on the knee armor of these Dwarf Warriors riding gray mountain goats and spiky wild boars, along with the style of their armor and their carried weapons, revealed their identity.
