Beneath the Red Dragon

Then the Golems, with arms forged of rock and steel, pounded their chests, producing a deafening sound,

”Imperial warriors, the blades of my master, summoned forth!”

The Mages, dragging their weary bodies, abandoned the pride of Casters, and sincerely saluted these warriors with the Golden Empire’s military salute.

”Loyal warriors, welcome back!”

Hidden in the darkness, the stoic face of Gilean was moved. He stepped out of the shadows and came before the Golems.

This former Imperial Guard Warrior, now a Legion Commander, wore magical armor made from the world of Icaria, forged with the hardest Mountain Steel and magic alloy, marked all over with claw and sword, spear and halberd scars.

The Giant Dragon Badge on his chest, near his heart, had created a dent in the Heavy Armor, and the self-healing magic alloy’s slow healing couldn’t completely restore the armor’s appearance.

And the Dragon-faced Skull Helmet, symbolizing the Legion Commander and Imperial Guard Warrior, had long been slashed, held in this tall warrior’s hand.

His meticulously groomed thick black hair and well-tended short beard showed this warrior’s character. Though the years had left slight indistinguishable marks on his face, the faint wrinkles at the corners of his eyes, and his clear, deep red eyes lent this warrior a unique charm.

”Lord Gilean, you’re still alive, how wonderful!”

As Gilean stepped forward, the Heroic Spirits in the Golem Legion also warmly responded to him, stepping up to pound the chest of this warrior taller than three meters high Golems, causing Gilean to stagger back two steps.

No other reason, because all the warriors knew Gilean, respected Gilean as they respected the Legion Commander and Dragon Descendant Werewolf Saha.

This isn’t just because of Gilean’s status as Legion Commander and Imperial Guard of the Emperor, but because of his tremendous strength and valor.

In the early years of the Golden Empire’s emergence, the Black Dragon Rosani led the Imperial Legions to sweep away the shadows brought by the Plane Deity, waging wars north and south, conquering the entire Essos Continent and establishing a powerful vassal kingdom.

Although the followers of the King of Light R’hllor held onto their divine service zeal, causing upheaval everywhere.

Yet under the secret purges by the renegade Red-robed Monk Sakaro and former Red-robed Witch Nalia, the Red God Sect followers of the King of Light were also completely wiped off the continent by the influence of the Golden Empire.

Thus, the Golden Empire had deeply rooted itself in this world, with all the Free Trade City-States subjugated under the might of the Dragons and Demon Dragons, the Imperial Legion asserting dominance, ready to venture onto other continents.

But from the distant North of the Westeros Continent, the Cold God, always in secret opposition to the Red God R’hllor, rose, its power soaring unprecedentedly, causing the believers of the Cold God to sound the lost Magic Horn, leading to the collapse of the Northern Great Wall.

The King of the Others, a pawn of the Cold God, led his dormant Other army south from the Northern Territory.

With the Cold God’s power surging to unprecedented heights, the entire force of the Westeros Continent was not enough to withstand this pawn of the Cold God—the King of the Others.

The civilizations and cities built by the Ancestral People and the Andals were utterly destroyed by the Army of the Dead led by the King of the Others, countless people perished in this catastrophe, and even in death their bodies and souls found no rest, becoming part of the dead army through the King of the Others.

The entire Westeros Continent fell into the hands of the Others, aside from a few remote corners where life endured, and many fled to the Golden Empire, but all remaining life was transformed into the Cold God’s servants by the King of the Others.

The King of the Others led an army of converted life forms from the entire continent, treading the sea as ice, crossing the strait, ready to expunge the world’s occupiers for his god.

Yet, although the Essos Continent had its magical and magical power source nodes destroyed by the King of Light R’hllor, gradually turning into a desert of magic, the prowess of the Golden Empire’s Legion Warriors and Casters surpassed these native beings’ imagination.

As hundreds of Demon Dragons were simultaneously commanded to soar into the sky, united with the Imperial Legion warriors, the King of the Others, invulnerable to mortal weapons and destruction, was crushed into ashes under the poison fire and claws of the Black Dragon Rosani.

The entire Army of the Dead was utterly annihilated by the Golden Empire’s Legion in a single battle, and no one in the world could resist the Empire’s advancing spearheads henceforth.

However, the Plane Deities opened Pandora’s Box, unsealing the world’s Wall Barrier.

The passage existing in the Shadow Lands of Yaxia, leading to some Demon Plane, was actually opened by these Plane Deities themselves, thus destruction and war returned to this world.

The other continents, still regions rich with magic power, originally targets for conquest under the Black Dragon Lord Rosani’s plan.

But when the Empire’s warriors discovered the boundless Demons starting to step into this world, the wise Rosani decisively abandoned the target, retracting the entire Empire’s force to the vicinity of the Valerian Peninsula, where the flames had subsided.

Elsewhere, while abundant in magic power, the Empire’s Legion feared no Demons, but the native warriors of this world could not withstand the overwhelming Demons.

Only in this magic-desolate region do the people of this world have the chance to face these Demons directly, and only thus can the Golden Empire’s strength be maximally preserved.
