Beneath the Red Dragon

The glow of fire and crystal lamps began to illuminate the vast royal palace, where dragons of various scales were baring their fangs and gnashing their teeth, revealing the ferocity of the Evil Dragons and the terrifying presence of the Giant Dragons as they spread their wings.

White frost seeped between the White Dragon’s nostrils and mouth, while red sparks shot from the Red Dragon’s scale armor. The Blue Dragon breathed out azure lightning, and the Green Dragon exhaled a poisonous green mist.

The Red Copper Dragon and the Bronze Dragon couldn’t help but reveal their fangs, and the eyes of the Fog Dragon and Steel Dragon shone with unusual brilliance.

Dragons gathered around the Ancestral Red Dragon Karon Gogomola with a formidable air. This was a united Dragon Group with a shared goal.

The glowing light of spirit flickered in the Ancestral Red Dragon’s claws, like a swarm of dragons, stirred by the words of this Ancestral Red Dragon.

”Dragons have nurtured the Empire, and the Empire has strengthened the Dragon Group. With the full support of the entire Empire, your strength now surpasses imagination, yet still falls short against those foes who have amassed countless years of accumulation and growth,”

The voice of the Ancestral Red Dragon shifted from soft to strong, the fluctuating dragon’s voice resonant like a heavenly song, echoing in the serene hall filled only with dragons raising their heads proudly.

”In the endless permafrost wasteland bordering the northern plains of the Empire, ’Ice Prison’ Sakles, who leads the White Dragon Tribe, can no longer dispatch dragon hunters to capture Sloraka, as he has been utterly defeated in a duel by the King of the Frost Giants, his dragon horn broken and enslaved by the King of the Frost Giants,”

”The power of the Frost Giants is rapidly expanding, they’ve already set their sights on moving south, yet he is nearly legendary, maybe even a legend,”

The Ancestral Red Dragon’s dark golden pupils flickered with flames, and he said in a deep voice, ”Also, the potential threat of those giants at the southern border of the Empire,”

”Although the Eternal Punishment Dragon seems to be doing nothing, he has provided us information about the enemies behind the scenes,”

The body of the Ancestral Red Dragon slowly paced in the center, its tail and wings brushing past each dragon, filling their nostrils with the Ancestral Red Dragon’s presence.

”The Multi-armed Giant Mogyes is no ordinary giant; he is a legendary giant. Even if his bloodline talent is mundane, ascending to the Legendary Tier signifies breaking away from the mediocrity of his original bloodline, attaining the strongest power within his bloodline.”

”What’s more, the Multi-armed Giant Mogyes is a descendant of the Hundred-armed Giants, not a low-tier giant bloodline, but an original giant, an original Titan, a descendant of the Hundred-armed Titan who stood shoulder to shoulder with the Divine Spirits.”

The Ancestral Red Dragon bared his thick fangs and hissed at the dragons, who were beginning to show serious expressions, ”Besides, we still need to eradicate the Fishmen and conquer the Beastmen to revenge the blood debt of the dragons. Do you think we can still bide our time and grow by holding back our claws and teeth?”

With Karon’s words, the dragons gathered around, looking at each other, and the proud and mighty dragons were suddenly awakened.

Indeed, the dragons within the Dragon Group, supported by the entire strength of the Empire, are far stronger than those ordinary dragons.

Even the small-bodied Red Copper Dragon Alfred had grown to eighteen meters long by the end of his youthful phase, making him a large dragon among the Red Copper Dragon species.

The young Bronze Dragon Alina, who had once set foot in the Dragon Group Territory, grew from a body length of fifteen meters to a size that could stand shoulder to shoulder with her mate, her strength clearly surpassing other kin she once knew over time.

And the growth of dragons in the Gogomola’s original Dragon Group has been even more terrifying than these later dragons, because, being younger, their potential space has not yet begun to solidify, leading to more remarkable achievements.

Take the young Blue Dragon Akzhi for example. In terms of age-based strength classification among dragon species, this young Blue Dragon has already surpassed the typical growth limits, able to stand equal to a late-phase young Blue Dragon, a comparison of capabilities only.

If some mages used detect-level magic to examine this young Blue Dragon, they might receive information indicating a challenge level as high as 13, approaching 14.

Furthermore, a dragon’s challenge power level is often one or two tiers higher than ordinary species at the very least.

This means that even for a single young Blue Dragon like Akzhi, from an adventurer’s perspective, multiple High Tier Extraordinary Warriors or a team equipped with a Great Mage would be needed to attempt to challenge Akzhi, with victory uncertain, as it is not purely dependent on strength power levels.

Yet, the potential of the young Blue Dragon is not the strongest among the batch of dragons.

The young Blue Dragon Doss, who revived an ancestral bloodline and could freely control Dragon Blood, along with the young White Dragon Gomot and the young Red Dragon Kleyna, represent the group with the most potential. Although they are younger than Akzhi, their strength has not significantly lagged behind Akzhi.

This is also why these few young dragons can withstand two adult Giant Dragons, though the strength of the adult Multi-headed Giant Dragon is not exceptional, the adult Eternal Punishment Dragon is not an easy opponent.

Even the few dragons that joined the group later have seen rapid growth in strength and body size under the Empire’s support, except for the unfortunate Young Red Dragon Kedelos.

This young Red Dragon, who had Evil Dragon True Blood extracted, suffered serious injuries consecutively, and in trying to compensate for the loss of True Blood, the growth of his body slowed significantly compared to other Giant Dragons. His strength hasn’t made great strides due to a lack of learning and discipline.
