Beneath the Red Dragon

Before creating the Sisterhood’s ’Messiah’, all born children were girls intended for future breeding.

They could control blood flow, body temperature, heart rate, consciousness, their skills unmatched in combat.

They could even use spirit combined with truths to temporarily control the mind and thoughts of others, easily discerning lies from truth.

After consuming the special product from the death of a sand worm—Water of Life, these women, strong as witches, could unlock ancestral memories within their bloodline, perceiving all history, gaining the knowledge and wisdom of past female ancestors.

The savior they want to create, the ’Kwisatz Haderach’, will be born male in the plan, capable of possessing all the memories of male and female ancestors of all human families, becoming a human computer Mentat.

Able to predict the future like a Navigator, becoming the Golden Lion Emperor of the Leo Empire, ruling the empire, leading all humanity to the anticipated future controlled by the Sisterhood.

Even though Paul Atreides was a product beyond the plan, born from his mother Jessica falling in love with Duke Atreides, he also possesses the potential and qualification to become a Savior.

He has the knowledge and skills of a witch and possesses the ability to observe future fragments in dreams, temporarily recognized by the Sisterhood as one of the targets of the plan.

But even if these Sisterhood saviors truly descend, none have such leisurely power to walk through sandstorms.

Even though Jessica is a witch, Paul Atreides is also stronger than ordinary people, but they can only survive walking in the desert with life-sustaining equipment.

They cannot, like those two godly beings, walk through the shifting sands wearing only simple and luxurious silk robes.

Lady Jessica, as a religious personnel, was even more terrified, unable to contain herself.

Because as the opposite approached, both could see that the opposing figures were immensely tall, themselves appearing like weak children before the three-and-a-half-meter-tall forms.

But the towering form did not break the perfection on the other’s body, instead reinforcing the divine radiance on them.

That man, although his gaze was gentle, had contours and bones indiscernibly perfect by worldly measures, but the indifference deep in his eyes was like the divine eye, viewing all beings equally with divinity.

That woman, though her eyes were covered by a silk band, her beautiful form and face appeared exceptionally sacred, like an angelic saintess accompanying the Divine Spirit.

A terrifying possibility flashed through Lady Jessica’s mind, her clever brain clouded by this awful speculation, trembling as she shouted, ”Stop, tell me, who on earth are you!”

The surrounding air felt as if vacuumed out, the ancient, witchcraft-like voice reverberated simultaneously with Lady Jessica’s voice, dignified, powerful, and authoritative.

It seemed as if when Jessica’s voice was heard, all the power of the ancestors was summoned.

Yet Jessica’s truths could not control the mind and behavior of either Karon or Fafnir, as Jessica voiced, Karon instinctively analyzed the change in language.

He instantly memorized Jessica’s vocal expression and pronunciation, remembered the tone, remembered the pitch, remembered the volume, noted every detail of throat movements, and instantly detected Jessica’s emotional and intuitive thoughts when using truths.

Then he spoke, an ancient voice mixed with the echo of a Dragon Roar resonated simultaneously,

”kneel!”

The authoritative and powerful human voice resonated, the Dragon’s Roar followed, its mighty truths caused Jessica and Paul Atreides to kneel instantly, their previous mental training rendered entirely ineffective.

In this instant, Karon learned the witchcraft of these truths, yet in the mouth of the Dragon Emperor, these truths resembled decrees.
