Beneath the Red Dragon

The wind stirred by the dragons in the sky scattered the thick fog and gray clouds, concealing the sky, as they descended upon the plains, surrounding the nobility and slaveowners.

The warriors above looked down at these people as if they were mere chickens and dogs.

With a thunderous sound,

A black dragon landed, standing on the hill, the scales on its forehead shimmering with a brilliant glow.

He folded his wings and uttered a rolling sound, echoing in the ears of the startled crowd.

”Surrender, or die!” said Rosani.

...

Karon retreated back into the Icaria World from the rift in the world, the depletion of power and the changes in time and space causing his mind to feel a bit swollen.

Through his own comparison, Karon discovered that in the apparent flow of time, the Icaria World as a Prime Material Plane was relatively slower than the other world.

But before Karon could sort out his thoughts, he realized that he was not in his usual royal court, but on a barren grassland.

In Karon’s perception, this was indeed the Icaria World, just a place he had never been before.

Karon lowered his guard; perhaps the interaction of the world’s powers had caused a shift in his position.

And in the Icaria World, if an Ancestral Red Dragon wanted to run away, no one could catch up to him.

So the massive body of the Red Dragon lay on the grassland, narrowing its eyes slightly, intending to rest for a while, waiting for his spirit to recover.

But an inexplicable aura was caught by the Ancestral Red Dragon.

Whether Metal Dragons or Five-Color Dragons, or any other dragons, these dragon types are creatures with a strong sense of self-awareness and territoriality, always needing their own exclusive space.

And the encroachment of space by the same kind easily triggers the violent and alert nerves of dragons, especially unfamiliar Giant Dragons.

Even for the Gogomola Dragon Group, under Karon’s lead, the dragons would often brawl and fight when they were fledglings because of this.

With age and the growth of power, the self and territorial awareness of Colorful Dragons become stronger and stronger, with Red Dragons being the representative of this.

Even if Karon was accustomed to getting along with the Dragon Group, his body’s instinct still discovered the presence of the same kind a step before his perception.

”No, it’s not a presence, but,”

Karon lifted his head, six beautiful horns pressed against the scales on the back of his neck, looking up at the sky.

A meteor fell from the sky, but without any aura, like a silent comet, crashing directly into the grassland not far from Karon.

An intense tremor came, yet there was no sound, and as the dust dispersed, a naked goddess stepped out from the center.

A milky white little dragon was on her left side, a golden little dragon on her right, and a bronze dragon hovered above her head, while a massive Magic Aura surrounded her body, shrouding her visage, making everything unseen, unknown, unheard.

It is said that every time the Platinum Dragon God Bahamut descended to the world, he would always be accompanied by seven Golden Dragons, walking with him.

And when the Five-Colored Dragon Queen Tiamat incarnated to walk the world, she would also be accompanied by the immortal emissaries, the Evil Dragons.

The goddess before him was also a Dragon God, but not the target Karon currently wanted to contact.

When building the Ten Thousand Dragons Temple, Karon had his own purpose, and the Dragon Gods worshiped there were selectively chosen.

Estelabo, the Dragon Race’s Goddess of Wealth; He’Er, the humorous god of the Dragon Race; Landis, the just god of the Dragon Race; Tamara, the Life Goddess of the Dragon Race.

These Dragon Gods all had some favorable biases for Karon and were manageable and predictable for him.

Even the Platinum Dragon God Bahamut, though somewhat unscrupulous in dealing with the Five-Colored Dragon God Tiamat, still did not deviate from his title as the God of the Good Dragon in other matters.

However, Karex, the Dragon Race’s God of Destruction; Kronipus, the Dragon Race’s God of Death; and Farazur, the Dragon Race’s God of Undying Creatures, were all shackled, unable to easily influence the world.

Just like the fallen Dragon God Ayo, Karex was banished by the gods to a distant place, while the other Dragon Gods each had their difficulties.

And they shared a common characteristic, that besides the fallen Primordial Dragon God Ayo, the true forms of the other Dragon Gods in this cosmos were of weak divine power.

But the goddess before him was excluded from Karon’s targets, a Dragon God with middle divine power.

The Ancestral Red Dragon gradually stood up, stretching his wings towards the sky, flames dancing on his scales, and he spoke word by word, ”Magic Light, Miracle Messenger, Magic Goddess, Kreiska!”
