Beneath the Red Dragon

This apocalypse shrouding the entire Valerian Peninsula has torn the surrounding mainland into countless small islands through earthquakes and tectonic shifts. These islands are engulfed by thick smoke and fire, surrounded by ashes and sea.

Numerous land masses sank amidst magma and fierce flames, and cities were devoured by this cataclysm, turning from thriving civilizations into shattered ruins.

Tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands, of Valerian citizens, both commoners and slaves, perished in this tragic apocalyptic scene. The survivors had nowhere to hide, only standing in place, pleading for the mercy and compassion of the Divine Spirits.

And the souls of the deceased remained within the sea of fire. Unimaginable pain and resentment left them wandering endlessly in Purgatory, their concern for blood relatives causing them to howl like lost spirits.

But the earth incessantly shook and cracked, swallowing countless people into fissures, who were then melted into ash by the magma spewing from the depths.

All things melted away, steel turned into liquid, and even in the waters surrounding the Valerian Peninsula, rolling heat waves emerged.

Even while aboard the ship, far from the Valerian Peninsula, the Red-robed Witch and the Faceless Men Sect members could distinctly see fiery red currents spurting from the seabed, churning the waters.

Countless sea fish and Sea Beasts were directly evaporated by these surging red currents from beneath the sea, with their bodies constantly surfacing on the sea.

Their pale bellies and lifeless eyes pointed toward the sky, as if staring at the Divine Spirits above, accusing them of sending this unwarranted apocalyptic calamity.

In the nearby waters, the entire sea turned boiling as if it had been set on fire, with rolling steam spreading over the water, shrouding it in a thick white mist.

Even the most fanatical members of the Faceless Men Sect were at a loss for words, even though it was the seed they planted that triggered this might of heaven and earth.

Yet, faced with this unimaginable scene, they were overwhelmingly shocked.

Witnessing the destruction of the world before their very eyes, they were completely awestruck.

The glass candle held by Red-robed Witch Nalia, representing the magical item of wonder, burned brightly at this moment, radiating its last gleam.

With her left hand holding the glass candle and her right hand touching the necklace around her slender neck, she pressed the large ruby against her red lips, mumbling incantations to the King of Light, R’hllor.

”The Divine Spirit who grants light and heat to all beings, the King of Light who brings beauty and love, also delivers apocalyptic punishment to the disrespectful...,”

Behind her, the Red-robed Monks also kissed their ring badges, offering their devotion to the King of Light, the God of Flame, R’hllor.

Yet from above the firmament came a loud noise, as if the entire world were shattering, the intense vibrations spreading across the sky, making the entire firmament seem to waver.

In the vision of everyone, it felt as though the sky was about to collapse.

From the layers of black clouds and ash, above the surging flames of magma, a massive opening suddenly appeared.

From within that opening emerged a pair of claws, prying open the ever-closing gap, followed by a head.

”Heavens, what is that!”

”That is... ”

The witch and monks looked at the creature atop the dome, exclaiming aloud, while the Faceless Men unveiled their hoods, their lips trembling as they spoke.

And those silently praying for their souls to return to the Holy Hall, the Imperial legion warriors, suddenly erupted in cheers; at this moment, ignoring the surrounding flames and magma, they spontaneously knelt down toward the face in the sky.

”The great Emperor, supreme lord, holy Karon Gogomola, has descended,”

The Casters saw the head protruding from the seam of the firmament, and their courage surged, shouting the Emperor’s name, channeling all their Magic Power, instantly holding the entire Magic Barrier open.

Black Dragon Rosani also roared, its excited howls echoing throughout the Valerian Islands, triggering countless Demon Dragon roars.

”Is this the master behind those demons, His Majesty the supreme Imperial Emperor?”

The Nobility submitted to the outsiders, the House Targaryen, Orion Clan, and Belerys Clan, their members and Demon Dragons sheltered within the legion’s Magic Barrier.

They admired the outsiders’ strength but still took pride in their Power of the Dragon King.

But now, they finally witnessed the true orchestrator, the being even those mighty Demon Warriors revered in the eyes of the nobility.

All held their breath, fearing any sound might disturb the Dragon Emperor atop the firmament.

Six thick sinuous horns, like colossal pillars supporting the sky, surpassed all Demon Dragons in majesty and splendor.

Even the mightiest of old, the Demon Dragon Bellerion, which once grew to 350 meters, appeared as merely a Beast before the dazzling Emperor.

The Nobility, along with their tamed Demon Dragons, knelt at this moment, offering their submission to that noble and awe-inspiring combination of majesty and raw power in the sky.

Karon Gogomola cast a gaze surpassing the sun’s brilliance, witnessing the precarious scene, despite his desire to emerge from this world’s fissure through the infinitely distant Plane Passage, it remained an insurmountable task.
