Beneath the Red Dragon

Moreover, although the Power of Faith provided by these Elf Tribes is far from enough for Ascension to Divinity, Karon cannot ensure that the chain reaction triggered by these ancient entities is good or bad for him.

It’s hard to believe that the Platinum Dragon God Bahamut, born from the corpse of the Primordial Dragon God, and the Five-Colored Dragon Queen Tiamat have no means or connection concerning this Primordial Dragon God, and even those low-intelligence Dragon Beasts wouldn’t believe it.

”I just hope the time I attract attention is as late as possible,” Karon suddenly sighed, even though he regularly restrains all his energy and traces, and the Heart Energy also follows Karon’s will to an extent, hiding Karon’s existence. However, Karon is still uncertain if these measures are effective against those high and mighty Divine Spirits.

Even if Karon’s methods work for himself, as his territory develops to a certain extent and the Dragon Group he leads grows to a certain level, it will eventually draw attention.

For this, Karon can only be thankful that even those Immortal Divine Spirits are not omnipotent; their focus lies within the Endless Star Realm and doesn’t constantly watch a fixed Main Plane.

”Forget it, why think so much, it’s just a case of soldiers coming to block, water coming to cover, if it can’t be stopped, figure it out then.”

The Red Dragon relaxed, lazily stretched out its wings, and patted the excited Tree of Life below, saying: ”Hey, have you borne fruit yet, the kind that’s really powerful!”

The time to reap the fruits of victory has arrived, even though the largest fruit has already been harvested by the Dragon Group.

...

The Dragon Group Territory has been bustling recently, with many people rushing from villages in the forest to the only two large cities in the Dragon Group Territory, Golden City and Baystream City.

This has severely tested the security of these two cities lately, although no one dares to cause trouble in front of the security soldiers carrying weapons and wearing Leather Armor, the high number of people inevitably leads to friction.

The entire city is noisy, and severe conflicts even drive both parties into the newly built Giant Dragon Arena for a showdown.

Not only the inhabitants within the Giant Dragon Territory but also many outsiders who heard the news have flocked to the Golden City due to the recent ordinances issued by the Giant Dragon Territory.

Because the Giant Dragon has distributed wives to everyone.

According to the newly issued territory regulation, all inhabitants settled in the Giant Dragon Territory, as long as they are single men or women, the Giant Dragon will allocate a husband or wife to them, or serve as laborers, and they are all Elves.

No matter what race, what creature, if they are rulers, the primary element must certainly be a clear system of rewards and punishments, which is an essential foundation for all governance.

Therefore, Karon turned the three Elf Tribes who had committed offenses against the Dragon Group into slaves, then merged them with the territory’s other residents of different races in a family setup, which not only quickly absorbed these Elves but also promoted racial integration within the territory, forming a cohesive ideology.

However, Karon clearly underestimated the impact of this action; previously, he needed to expend much effort purchasing slaves and attracting immigrants, but under the influence of this regulation, even some slave-capturing mercenaries have settled in the Dragon Group Territory in pairs, let alone other immigrants.

Because in the Giant Dragon Territory, it truly provides.

At this moment, the agency in front of Golden City was already surrounded by crowds of people tightly packed, and many short-statured Kobold security soldiers had to howl loudly, while struggling to wield their weapons to push the crowd apart.

But the loud howls of the Kobold soldiers were completely drowned out by the lively and noisy chatter; no one paid attention to these Kobolds, each simply wanting to squeeze forward.

”Hey, Old Danton, you already have a wife and you’re still lining up here, aren’t you afraid your cat at home will fight with you tonight? Besides, isn’t it said in the laws issued by the Giant Dragon that only single people can apply? Are you looking to cheat those adults? You must have a death wish!”

In the crowd, a tall strong man pushed past those in front, teasing a farmer beside him.

The farmer, known as Old Danton, immediately put on a stern face, muttering lowly: ”Hmph, I’ve split up with that brawling, vulgar woman, I want to apply to take back a beautiful Elf, to annoy that vulgar woman.”

But the tall strong man ignored him, raising his hands high and shouting loudly at the Kobold soldier maintaining order beside them: ”I report, I accuse, this man, Old Danton, originally has a wife, he wants to cheat!”

”Damn it,” Old Danton’s old face blushed, as he was about to squeeze out of the crowd and line up in another direction, the Kobold soldier was already barking angrily: ”Grab him, he dares to cheat the law, cheat the wise Kobolds, catch him quickly.”

Thus, the unlucky Old Danton was dragged out of the crowd by the furious Kobold soldiers, tied up hand and foot with rope, awaiting the officials’ judgment.

Old Danton not only didn’t get an Elf but also lost his original wife, more importantly, according to the gradually improving territory laws, he will also lose his hard-won free life.

Only the tall strong man, excitedly clenched a fist, with one less competitor, his chance of bringing home an Elf beauty increased by a fraction.

The tall strong man followed the crowd forward, queued for most of the day, the officials handling the matters also changed, his stomach rumbling from hunger and thirst, but he dared not leave the line to find food and drink.

He annoyedly slapped his forehead, grumbling: ”Damn it, you’re such a fool, why didn’t you bring some food and drinks earlier.”
