Beneath the Red Dragon

Above the distant sky, the enormous Red Dragon stretched its massive wings, like a dragon-shaped volcano, erupting a ceaseless stream from its mouth, casting a vast shadow across the entire desolate land in the moonlight.

Surrounding the entire perimeter of the camp, flames of devastating Dragon Fire rose everywhere, igniting any White Bone Undead they touched, causing their Yin Energy to explode with even fiercer flames.

Countless wailing souls were liberated from within the white bones, letting out one final cry in this world, before being burned into oblivion by the omnipresent Dragon Fire.

In the sky, the Giant Dragon spewed fire of destruction, while on the ground, the Beloved wielded the Blade of Death, liberating these souls that should have already been silent.

The Dragon Fire, spreading all around to the four corners of the world and extending into the surrounding Void, was so intense that the mages guarding the small city and the Giant Dragon Legion felt as if they were within a giant furnace.

The air around became thin, and the once-depleted Magic Power could no longer be sensed.

The mages and Jackal Wolfman Mage in the city could only use their own Magic Power to raise a Magic Barrier Shield above the entire small city to isolate the high temperatures emitted by the Fire Prison.

The White Bone Undead that were originally encircling the innermost layer of the camp could temporarily survive due to the Red Dragon’s choice to maximize destruction from the outer circle. With a numerical advantage several times that of the Giant Dragon Corps, they launched a fierce attack.

Hoping to break through these large cans wrapped in Iron Armor and hide within this city where the flames had not descended.

From all sides and behind surged raging Dragon Fire, capable of easily destroying ordinary forces that could not touch the souls, bringing these White Bone Undead a feeling of lethal threat and urgency, a surge of emotions they hadn’t felt for countless years since their fall.

But this rare experience drove these long-numbed souls to madness, as the ghostly green Ghost Fire in their hollow eye sockets flickered wildly, astonishingly emanating a sharp roar from their White Bone bodies.

Numerous White Bone Undead, led by those dozen particularly powerful White Bone Undead, continued their charge, engulfing the Giant Dragon Corps.

Boom, a White Bone Giant with a long white bone horn grew from its skull, slammed the giant blade in its hand down, raising a howling wind.

”Seeking death,”

The Jackal Wolfman Leader Yougu roared, his blood-red eyes burning with flames akin to the Red Dragon’s, displaying no weakness, the blood-red mane on his neck stood stiffly like pins, and his left arm, covered in thick Iron Armor, was utilized like a Shield to fiercely bash out.

Clang,

The clash resulted in sparks flying, and the next moment, the Jackal Wolfman held the Long Spear tightly in his right hand, piercing through the White Bone Giant’s skull, the force through the Long Spear shattered those two ghostly green Ghost Fires within.

Whoosh, at this instant, a huge gust of wind sounded from Yougu’s side, a powerful undead with three pairs of white bone wings stretched out its claws to grab at Yougu’s skull.

The claws burned with strange white Ghost Fire, a strike that could pierce Iron Armor and grab five bloody holes in the Jackal Wolfman’s skull.

Yet a more ferocious gale descended from distant skies at this moment, terrifying shadows veiled the chaotic battlefield, a pair of massive dragon claws descended from the sky, tearing apart the formidable undead capable of challenging the Jackal Wolfman Leader.

The three pairs of enormous bone wings were shattered into fragments, falling to dust, as the vigorous soul was trampled to pieces by the claw of the Red Dragon.

The airflow from the Red Dragon’s descent further blew away many surrounding White Bone Undead.

With Karon’s arrival, this final battlefield quickly turned into a one-sided slaughter.

Those dozen strongest White Bone Undead were hunted down by Karon one by one, leaving only the last one resembling a giant serpentine bone creature, unable to struggle under Karon’s foot.

The remaining bones could not turn to escape into the endless sea of fire surrounding them, forced to fall one by one under the siege of the mages and Giant Dragon Legion.

This battle didn’t last long, within merely half an hour the overall situation was decided, and the rest of the time was spent cleaning up.

The Legion Warriors of the Dragon collected broken bones and piled them together to burn them to ashes.

Karon intended to interrogate the White Bone Undead underfoot, but even with its soul strength surpassing those High Tier Mages, its intelligence and entirety were worn down by endless time.

Only some instinctual reactions remained, Karon had to crush it underfoot into fragments, then spew Dragon Fire to burn it to ashes.

However, Karon made an unexpected discovery, unlike many humanoid White Bone Undead, this peculiar White Bone Undead’s soul appeared to reside in its bone and flesh.

Upon death, it did not leave the body like other beings of this world, to proceed to the soul’s place of belonging, into the Nether River of legend where endless souls of the deceased flowed.

”Interesting, the world is vast, full of wonders,” a faint white light glimmered within Karon’s dragon claws, encasing scattered soul fragments for careful observation.

”These White Bone Undead are different from most White Bone Undead, perhaps they were not birthed by this plane’s original lifeforms,” Squinting Mage Hughes approached and spoke.
