Beneath the Red Dragon

In the distance, a blood-red desert, shrouded in relentless mist, under the pale moonlight, one can vaguely discern the depths of this fog-laden land.

A massive golden divine spear is slanted into the ground, like an ancient peak, firmly pinning a corpse of a creature with six wings, six arms, and three heads onto the seemingly loose blood-red sand.

The spear penetrates through its chest, piercing its entire heart, and the dried blood transforms the entire land into blood-colored sand, leaving numerous dry, blood-flowing traces on its body.

But eerily, even after countless ages of agony and having drained the blood from its body, the corpse still appears vibrant, showing no signs of drying.

Just as Karon uttered those words, the pinned corpse suddenly opened its eyes; the black eyes seemed to rotate with unending chaos, surprisingly devoid of pupils.

Then, a thick lightning bolt suddenly descended from the sky, flickering on the golden divine spear, before merging into the open-eyed corpse.

Rumble,

Karon extended his claws to both sides, hands slightly raised, the earth and desert began to rise under the control of this Red Dragon; the ground rolled and surged, the surroundings ascended, and the outside sank.

Numerous white bone undead attacking the magic barrier found the sand beneath their feet emptying, losing balance and falling to the ground.

And the endless desert formed into towers, towers interconnected into walls, and walls enclosed into a city. In an instant, a low city made of solidified sand sprang up around the camp.

Only a tall and wide city gate opened towards Karon.

Faced even with the impending battle, those mages couldn’t help but marvel at the power wielded by the Red Dragon before them.

Even gifted as they were, these high-tier mages needed to diligently study and work hard to possess their current power.

But the Red Dragon before them, without casting magic, simply relying on its talent, raised a small city from flat ground.

The sight shocked the mages, even those of superior intellect and will among ordinary people couldn’t help but lament the unfairness of the world.

The Squinting Mage also sighed inwardly; during the Red Dragon’s infancy, he felt stronger than the dragon, but now, as it entered adolescence, its strength has surpassed his own, leaving him just seeing the tip of its tail.

Only those Dragon’s Beloved, accustomed to this, knew that until Karon completely failed, the Red Dragon would always be their supreme Divine Spirit in their hearts.

Thus, the Jackal Wolfman Warriors and Kobold Warriors simply excitedly watched their master, howling and barking, eager to strike, to shatter those tasteless bones.

”Leave fifty Jackal Wolfman Warriors and two hundred Dogman Warriors, guard the camp; Yougu, bring the other warriors, attack with me!” The Red Dragon exclaimed with excitement in his crimson eyes, ”First clean up these little rats’ spawn!”

Howl, Bark, Bark,

The Jackal Wolfman Warriors tossed aside their tower shields, and together with the Dogman Warriors gathered before the Red Dragon, casting magic and shaman magic rained down on these warriors from the mages and Jackal Wolfman Mages.

Power, agility, speed, courage, recovery; various enhancements and boosts flashed around the warriors, fearless.

Crash,

The endlessly swaying magic barrier finally shattered under continuous assault, yet before the white bone undead could rush into the low city, the living warriors, clad in iron armor, charged out led by the Jackal Wolfman Yougu.

”Giant Dragon Corps, attack!”

The Jackal Wolfman Yougu roared, leading the charge, his iron armor like a solid tin can crashing into the white bone pile.

In his hand, the solid iron spear swung like a stick, producing massive whooshing sounds, sweeping through the forefront white bone undead shattering them.

Hundreds of warriors followed suit, fearlessly crashing through the sea of white bones, smashing undead into pieces, trampling on the ghost fire within their eye sockets.

While Karon leaped into the sky, transforming into his original form.

The enormous Red Dragon stretched its wings, flying low; he forcibly drew and gathered the depleted magic power in the desert, merging it into his deep breaths.

His eyes ablaze with fire; a blazing line shot from his abdomen to his chest, then through his throat.

Swoosh,

A ferocious, destructive, all-consuming dragon flame spewed from Karon’s mouth, carrying torrents of magic power.

The two merged and reacted, burning the air into distortion, descending into the endless tide of white bones with sharp explosive wind whistles.

Rumble, intensely hot temperatures, and terrifying flames simultaneously descended, Karon’s domain also bloomed at that instant.

In that moment, all souls within the dragon flame-covered white bones seemed to glimpse a corner of the sun from the heavens falling to the earth, the scorching flames and heat instantly charring all bones, which scattered into ashes upon air distortion.

These flames spread through air and magic, the cold negative energy acting like fuel and kindling for the raging fire, exploding within the flames, a strand of flame rolled along the energy’s breath, erupting instantly.

The Red Dragon in the sky seemed like a Death God reaping the white bone undead, unleashing destructive flames everywhere, flying while spewing his flames, again and again, a circle and another.

In less than half a moment, flames spread across the land. The white bone undead instantly turned to ash, not even having time to conceive plans of escape.

Meanwhile, the distant white bone undead witnessing this scene scattered in all directions across the desert like rabbits chased by hounds, carrying the lingering warmth of flames.

Numerous souls found liberation within the white bones; many souls showed smiles in the air, then burned into nothingness by dragon fire, while many peculiar souls scattered in the wind the moment the bones turned to ash, seemingly attached to the bones.

Everywhere, the Fire Prison turned to ash.
