Beneath the Red Dragon

”I permit you to establish a war band, select your most valiant warriors, and your most capable casters. Your war band will journey with me to another weaker plane!”

”This is your chance to prove yourself. Perform well, and you will receive the rewards you desire,” Red Dragon surveyed the Jackal Wolfman.

At this moment, Jackal Wolfman Yougu felt as if he had been hit with a hard blow yet rewarded with a sweet treat; the dragon’s words had overwhelmed his mind with joy.

Karon was treating the Jackal Wolfman like a trained dog, and it seemed the results were satisfactory.

Jackal Wolfman Yougu did not suppress his feelings of excitement. War was nothing; the Jackal Wolfmen were never afraid. Many Jackal Wolfmen even became adventurers to taste the blood and flesh of other races.

As long as Jackal Wolfmen restrained their urge to feed on humans, those human adventurer teams would accept these bloodthirsty Jackal Wolfmen.

”Your will dictates the direction where Jackal Wolfmen will fall,” Jackal Wolfman Yougu did not hide his bloodthirsty gaze. Even if it sacrificed the entire Jackal Wolfman Tribe, it was not too much for himself.

As long as he existed, the Jackal Wolfman Tribe would not disappear. It could be said that Yougu had the ambitious nature of monsters, which was also the selfish nature of all monsters.

The delighted Jackal Wolfman Yougu wished to step forward to kiss the toes of the Red Dragon but was swiftly kicked over by the Red Dragon and fell flat on the ground.

”Yougu, this is not what you should do. Warriors should possess warrior spirit,” Karon stepped back two paces. Although Jackal Wolfman Yougu was as clean as to not resemble a Jackal Wolfman, he instinctively rejected this behavior.

Only beings like the Ogre Giantess Fafnir, with a fragrant and soft body, qualified to approach him and perform such actions.

This was the Red Dragon’s blatant resistance and discrimination; he did not mind his current mindset. He accepted with peace that he had contemptible and vulgar sides; he was not a saint. He was a Red Dragon, a believer in dictatorship authoritarianism.

Then Karon instructed the confused Jackal Wolfman about another matter, regarding the stray Red Dragon around the territory’s periphery. He needed the Jackal Wolfmen to take actions to lure out the Red Dragon.

This wandering Red Dragon was a threat to the territory; if Karon did not plan to explore Greenfield Forest, he would have ignored the Red Dragon.

After all, with each passing day, Karon grew stronger; Karon’s growth rate was unmatched by other Giant Dragons.

Once Karon passed the juvenile stage and entered adolescence, he was confident that he would easily handle the wandering Red Dragon, even if it were a young Red Dragon.

Currently, although somewhat troublesome for Karon, with Squinting Mage Xiuse and other High Tier Mages arriving one after another, not utilizing them would be a waste.

Therefore, Karon planned to set the Plane Teleportation Gate construction location on the western outskirts of the Dragon Group Territory, precisely where that wandering Red Dragon frequented.

Once the Plane Teleportation Gate was built, Karon would inform the mages about the presence of the wandering Red Dragon.

To ensure the safety of the Plane Teleportation Gate, those High Tier Mages would take initiative.

Indeed, if the wandering Red Dragon appeared earlier, it would be better. Even if the wandering Red Dragon was in the youth stage and had awakened its spellcasting ability, it would be bound as a dragon-shaped bundle under the hunt of a group of High Tier Mages and the Dragon Group, allowing Karon to dispose of it at will.

Karon aimed to handle the Red Dragon before engaging in realm exploration and arrange other matters, clearing all instabilities.

”Go, Yougu, do not fail in this matter,” Karon waved his claws, sending Jackal Wolfman Yougu away to prepare and establish his legion.

Yougu received his orders and departed, while Karon flew back to his lair, diving into the treasure vault.

The vault entrance, hidden under rampant growth of Dragon-blood Red Flame Grass and various magical plants, had become a bit narrow.

In order not to trample these valuable magical plants, Red Dragon had to harness the magic power within his bloodline, transforming into Dragon Descendant form.

Karon disregarded the remaining treasures and directly approached the two massive black serpent eggs.

Currently, the two serpent eggs gathered the magic power of the entire vault. Under sufficient magical nurturing, the life force within the serpent eggs was progressively strengthening.

Karon eagerly anticipated what form these Titan Demon Pythons would take under his bloodline radiation and aura infection.

In Karon’s view, the Giant Dragon’s bloodline was a highly prioritized aspect, a certain rule derivation coverage.

It was unknown what rule the Primordial Dragon God had infused into the Giant Dragon bloodline; some creatures with seemingly comparable bloodlines could, under prolonged influence, be infected by the Giant Dragons, transforming into monstrosities with dragon traits.

Researching this bloodline expansion would also be one of Karon’s future laboratory subjects.

Perhaps the unborn serpent babies would prefer never to be born, knowing they were already designated as experimental subjects by Red Dragon.

Karon imagined his future laboratory might be multiple times larger than his lair.

Just researching the bloodline topic required gathering many unique biological bloodlines, the more the better.

Ideally, there would be living creatures for Karon to study, but at worst, specimens would suffice.

Karon could foresee the terrifying extent of his future laboratory, perhaps considered the most sinister and inescapable hell by many creatures.

After inspecting the serpent eggs’ situation, Karon began searching within his treasure vault for magic crystals formed by pure magic power.
