Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 151: Chapter 66: Alina the Giant Dragon Supremacist (Part 2)

The stone steps stretching from the foot of the mountain to the top may not seem long for the Giant Dragons, but for Red Copper Dragon Alfred and Bronze Dragon Alina, following silently behind the centaur warrior, it felt like a long journey.

Finally, when all the mountain paths leading to the Dragon Nest were lit by torches, the centaur warrior Chiron stopped, turned, and said to the two young Giant Dragons, ”I have already sent a message via flying bird, the Dragon Group is waiting at the summit, I cannot escort you any further.”

Alfred nodded, watching the departing figure of the centaur warrior, then turned to look at Bronze Dragon Alina. To the two Giant Dragons, the aura of the Dragon Group gathered at the mountain top was as bright as a beacon, seemingly awaiting these distant guests.

Bronze Dragon Alina took a deep breath, then stepped onto the last two steps first, closely followed by Red Copper Dragon Alfred, and finally the two dragons saw the figures of the Dragon Group.

By now, the summit was surrounded by blazing torches, and under the bright light of these towering torches, the figures of the Dragon Group seemed like the lords of the shadow realm secretly watching.

White Dragon Gomot and Camid, Green Dragon Antajena, Black Dragon Rosani, four young Giant Dragons were lined on the right side, while Blue Dragon Akzhi and Doss, along with Red Dragon Kleyna, sat on the left.

The eyes of the Dragon Group focused on the two ascending young dragons, their scrutinizing gaze making both young Giant Dragons feel immense pressure.

And there sat the Red Dragon at the center of the group, its huge and majestic body and fierce, dignified face half illuminated by torches, half hidden in shadows, with crimson eyes looking down upon Alfred and Alina.

The eyes of the Dragon Group were shining with a light brighter than gold, brighter than torchlight.

Even though Bronze Dragon Alina had seen many adult Giant Dragons, and even many elder dragons, those dragons, although powerful, did not exert as much pressure on her as the Dragon Group did.

Though the scene before them could be described as simple, it revealed an atmosphere of wildness and exuberance.

The same was true for Red Copper Dragon Alfred, who had almost forgotten that he had become friends with the Master of Dragons.

Under this unspeakable pressure, the two young Giant Dragons instinctively shed their Transformation Skill, revealing their true dragon forms.

Red Copper Dragon Alfred slightly lowered his head to pay respect to the Dragon Group, then said, ”Greetings to the esteemed True Dragons, Karon, king of the Dragon Group, I hope my presence will not disturb you!”

”Greetings to the Giant Dragon Lords, with my sincere regards from Bronze Dragon Alina!” Bronze Dragon Alina also slightly bowed her head, subconsciously putting aside the Bronze Dragon’s prejudice and arrogance against Colorful Dragons, to show respect to the Dragon Group.

The red dragon in the center of the group gazed at the respectful gestures of the two young dragons and after they finished their salutations, suddenly smiled, revealing its long, white fangs.

”Alfred, you don’t have to be so polite, you’re my friend, and I’ve already said I welcome you to my territory, it will shine with your arrival!”

”As for you, beautiful Bronze Dragon lady Alina, you are Alfred’s friend, and will be an esteemed guest in the territory, please don’t feel constrained, otherwise it will be the Dragon Group’s fault!”

With the Red Dragon’s smile and gentle words, the oppressive and solemn atmosphere from the Dragon Group melted away like ice and snow, allowing the two young dragons to finally lift the burden off their minds and face the Dragon Group honestly.

Red Copper Dragon Alfred looked at the Red Dragon before him, whose length had already reached fifteen meters. Even before the sixteen-meter-long Red Copper Dragon, it was hard to tell it was just a young dragon.

For the young Red Copper Dragon, in front of the Red Dragon, it was akin to a slight youth meeting a robust adult. Despite having nearly the same length, the contrast was stark.

The Red Dragon was at the time when its scales were at their most brilliant, and to Red Copper Dragon Alfred, perhaps only a remarkably handsome Golden Dragon or a famously beautiful Silver Dragon could match the Red Dragon as a mate; Five-Color Dragons didn’t measure up in terms of power or appearance.

Even with the pride of the Giant Dragons, Alfred couldn’t help but feel a strange sense of inferiority. He involuntarily said, ”Karon, you’ve become more beau... uh, stronger!”

Karon’s increasingly majestic and menacing head shook slightly, the Red Dragon, well-versed in compliments from a young age, praised, ”Alfred, your form has become more graceful and robust as well.”

”Ha,” Red Copper Dragon Alfred’s face became immediately lively, and he beamed with joy, even his bat wings on his back trembled a bit.

Alfred said happily, ”Karon, my perceptive and beautiful, powerful friend, the Dragon Group’s nest captivates me, I wonder if I’d be fortunate enough to join the Dragon Group and take a spot in these mountains.”

To Red Copper Dragon Alfred, his barren territory wasn’t comparable at all to the Dragon Group’s domain, not to mention his own nest. He sought to join the Dragon Group, even though it was led by Five-Color Dragons.

Red Copper Dragons and Brass Dragons were the odd ones among the Metal Dragons; one was absent-minded, the other always unhappily chaotic, they didn’t care much about the camps of Good or Evil Dragons, acting purely based on their own preferences.
