Beneath the Red Dragon

White Dragon Gomot came hurriedly and left with exceptional ease, folding his wings adorned with white frost patterns and walking away with a leisurely swagger.

He still needed to take the unfortunate two-headed Chimera down the mountain and temporarily hand it over to the Jackal-Wolf Man, who excelled at taming beasts.

Before Karon’s laboratory is built, this two-headed Chimera still needs to rely on its severely injured body to serve the territory like a beast of burden.

White Dragon Gomot immediately thought of bringing the Chimera to the forest to act as a labor beast for farming. The Chimera, with its intelligence and ability to communicate, is more useful than those tamed wild cattle and dragon beasts. It’s no surprise that the Dragon Group is fully focused on this aspect, and it was Gomot’s instinctive idea.

Even Blue Dragon Carlette, who’s taken on a human form, is now in a corner of the forest, swinging a heavy hoe until it starts smoking. Previously, the model laborer Blue Dragon Akzhi has now volunteered to switch shifts with other Giant Dragons, patrolling the Dragon Group’s territory continuously for half a month.

Karon shook his head, dispelling the thought of lazily hiding in the magma nest for a long sleep.

To be honest, even in ancient times when the race of Giant Dragons ruled the world, the Red Dragons and their Dragon Group were certainly among the few Giant Dragons that diligently managed their territories. Every Giant Dragon in the Dragon Group deserves a labor trophy made of gold and adorned with precious gemstones of various colors.

Green Dragon Antajena and Black Dragon Rosani are in charge of the flying birds in the sky and the beasts on the land, needing to regularly listen to these Dragon Group informants to ensure the security of the Dragon Group’s territory.

In fact, the benefits of this have already shown. The newly arrived wandering Red Dragon near the territory is proof of this intelligence and defensive system’s success.

Blue Dragon Doss was originally tasked with handling all matters of cooperation with the human pioneer camp. However, the relationship between the two parties has changed. The entire pioneer camp has become a city under dragon rule, with Ogre Giantess Fafnir responsible for affairs in the Golden City.

In theory, Blue Dragon Doss’s burden should have eased, but on the contrary, Fafnir is merely the executor of the Giant Dragon’s will, and many of the highest decision-making powers need the giants’ determination.

Moreover, because of the proposal from Bronze Dragon Alina, the future structure and specific kingdom government organization of the Dragon Kingdom also require Blue Dragon Doss to consider. After all, Blue Dragons are renowned among the Five-Color Dragons for their extensive knowledge, and Doss’s steady nature suits such tasks.

Blue Dragon Doss often travels back and forth between the Dragon Nest and Bay Stream City to discuss with Bronze Dragon Alina, though Karon’s mind is filled with knowledge of various mature political systems and national structures. He never assumes that the knowledge in his mind is necessarily correct.

He prefers to adapt to local conditions. The Dragon Group Territory has its unique circumstances and cannot rigidly apply other models. Therefore, he only provides Blue Dragon Doss with some references and suggestions, allowing Doss to use this knowledge to create a kingdom structure suitable for Dragon Group rule.

As a result, not only did the claw marks on Doss’s forehead persist, but Karon also noticed some small scales on Doss’s head had disappeared, resembling human baldness. Luckily, dragon scales can regenerate, preventing Blue Dragon from becoming a bald dragon.

Meanwhile, Kleyna oversees all Dragon Descendants, mainly because the power of the Female Red Dragon can suppress those enhanced Dragon Descendants. However, once everything formalizes, these Dragon Descendants will be absorbed into the Guardian’s Imperial Forest Guard.

Each Dragon Descendant’s strength is enough to serve as an Imperial Guard Captain. Including the Dragon-blooded Centaur Chiron and Dragon Descendant Wolfman Saha, the Imperial Guard already has nearly twenty captains, each with just ten warriors under their command.

Since these Dragon Descendants are influenced by the Giant Dragons, they are unwilling to recruit members who are weak and insufficiently capable. They only recruit individuals over three meters tall with outstanding strength. If humans who’ve undergone trials wish to join the Imperial Guard, the minimum height requirement is two meters.

Therefore, although many Beloved fervently sign up to join the Imperial Guard, the Green-skinned Goblins and Kobolds have already been blacklisted by these Dragon Descendants.

They can only recruit members from the Centaurs not yet in the cavalry corps and the Jackal Wolfman Barbarian Soldiers. However, the Imperial Guard requires not only standard strength but also a test of loyalty to the Giant Dragons. Thus, they’ve recruited only a few members so far, led by some of the more outstanding warriors to fill the ranks.

According to the plan, the first batch of the Imperial Forest Guard must eventually expand to at least three thousand members with continuous recruitment. At that time, each Imperial Guard Captain will be promoted to Centurion, leading a hundred Imperial Guard members to become the protective wall of the Guardian Giant Dragon.

Blue Dragon Akzhi’s duties remain unchanged, though Karon has added some responsibilities. This rare model laborer within the Dragon Group is now responsible for registering the household accounts and compiling records for all inhabitants within the territory.

This is an essential step in governing an area, and the workload is enormous. Fortunately, Blue Dragon Akzhi, who now volunteers to patrol the territory, also facilitates the completion of this task.

Only White Dragon Gomot, in Karon’s view, has shifted his thinking pattern, becoming more organized and thorough than other Five-Color Dragons. He plans to release White Dragon Gomot, similar to Bronze Dragon Alina, to establish a new city and develop the surrounding territory.
