Chapter 1073: Chapter 372: From the Perspective of Strength (3)

”Yuliss, I have some official matters to discuss, we’ll continue later.”

”Of course, Viscount, please go ahead.” Saying this, Yuliss performed a lady’s curtsy and also took away a group of curious female tailors and shop assistants.

Inside Yuliss’s workshop.

Rein and Olena sat down.

Although Olena found it strange that Rein came to the tailor shop as soon as he returned to Mingster, she didn’t ask why. Instead, she brought up a more important topic.

”Lord Rein, you must have received the notice?”

”Congratulations on your promotion to the highest rank of Imperial Swordsmen — Fine Gold Level. Moreover, you received this honor even before reporting to the Sword Holder Headquarters, a situation that is very rare in the long history since the formation of the Sword Bearers.”

Olena smiled and congratulated him.

”Thank you!”

”By the way, Lord Rein, does your family seem unaware of your upcoming move to the headquarters?” Olena asked slightly puzzled, looking at Rein.

She had just arrived at Rein Mansion before realizing that Rein was in Yuliss’s tailor shop.

However, from her keen observation during the conversation with Rein’s family, she noticed that neither Rein’s sister Bo He nor his mother Emma seemed to know about Rein’s transfer to the Imperial Headquarters.

”Yes, I just returned from the Frostwind Prairie and intended to spend more time with my family. I plan to tell them ten days later.” Rein nodded and explained.

He had specially instructed Anna about this on the way back.

”How considerate of you.” Olena instantly understood Rein’s intention and looked at Rein with even more admiration.

Perhaps, finding someone young and capable like Rein in the Empire might be possible, but someone who cares for his family so dutifully might be unique.

”Alas! It’s a pity that Mingster is so small. Working with you during this time has truly been my honor.” Olena seemed to realize that Rein would leave soon and expressed a hint of sadness.

”Madam Olena’s diligence and meticulousness have also been my good fortune,” Rein smiled mildly and said.

”By the way, when will Admiral Edward be available? I’d like to pay him a visit.”

”Unfortunately, the Admiral went to Rosby County a few days ago and hasn’t returned yet. However, I heard he should be back soon, either today or tomorrow.”

”Oh? Is there an unexpected situation in Rosby County?” Rein raised an eyebrow and asked.

Because according to the previous task allocation, both Rosby County and his hometown Meist County were under his jurisdiction.

”Yes, the Sea God Sect has been very active recently, and since you are not around, so....”

”By the way, the rest of your team also went this time.”

”No wonder Jennifer told me that they all went on a mission.” Rein couldn’t help nodding and said.

”Madam Olena, please contact Admiral Edward and inform him that I have returned to Mingster, and if there are any tasks needed, he can contact me.”

”Until I depart from the Mingster Branch, I am still a member of the Mingster Sword Bearers.”

”Alright, Lord Rein. Admiral Edward will surely be very moved to hear that from you.”

One and a half days later.

Viery, Neoro, and Angus arrived at the entrance of Rein Mansion.

”Neoro, your promotion to an Official Wizard this time will surely surprise the captain,” Viery said with a smile to Neoro beside him.

”Yes! When the captain returns from the prairie and discovers your promotion to an Official Wizard, he’ll surely be shocked.” Evelyn, the red-haired beauty, also smiled and said.

Previously, it was always their captain who astonished them; this time, it was finally their turn.

”Lord Viery, gentlemen, Viscount returned yesterday,” reported a guard upon seeing the group.

”What? The captain is back?”

”Yes, Lord Viery, but Viscount went out with Baroness Crawley early this morning, seemingly to some tailor shop. I’m not quite sure of the details,” the guard respectfully responded.

Rein had already gone to Yuliss’s tailor shop early in the morning to refine his tailoring skills and was not present.

”Hmm, Viery, no rush, it’s almost dinner time, and the captain should be back soon,” Neoro checked the time and said.

”Indeed.”

Just then, the sound of hooves echoed at the mansion’s gate.

A luxurious carriage stopped at the entrance of the mansion.

”May I ask, who is this gentleman looking for?” a guard stepped forward and asked.

As it were, Owen, the butler of Duke Drum, intended to take out the emblem representing the Drum Family, but Greenwood stopped him.

”The Drum Family’s emblem may not necessarily be recognized by them.”

Greenwood did not get off the carriage but instead handed out his Mithril Sword Holder’s Emblem from the small window of the carriage, saying, ”Have your master Rein come here.”

Such behavior, coming to the master’s house gate without getting off the carriage, was naturally quite rude.

The guards were initially about to reprimand the arrogant and rude behavior, but the Guard Captain froze when he saw the emblem handed over, which was very similar to Lord Viery’s Sword Holder’s Emblem.

From the material, although it looked very similar to Lord Viery’s emblem (silver), the diameter was noticeably larger.

This made the Guard Captain a bit unsure about the visitor’s background, so he immediately turned and walked briskly into the mansion.
