Chapter 1064: Chapter 370: Effects of the Divine Power Crystal (Part 2)

They didn’t notice the changes happening with Rein over here.

At this moment, Anna came forward swiftly and handed Rein a brand new white wizard robe.

It was only then that the people nearby snapped back to reality, and they began to discuss amongst themselves:

”Oh my god! ’Intestine Breaker’ Merick died just like that?!” Quite a few people exclaimed in shock.

”Hey, do you know who this gentleman is?” A curious traveler asked those around him.

”Not sure... To be so young and yet capable of defeating the mutated Wind Roc Commander Merick, it’s likely he’s a powerful figure from the Imperial City.”

”That’s right, among all the strong figures in Casweis Province, there’s no one that matches the description of this young gentleman.” An elder from a merchant caravan nodded in agreement.

”I’ve heard nothing about such a strong figure from the even more distant Moselle Province.” Another caravan leader shook his head, adding.

He had come from the distant Moselle Province and had never heard of such a young top-level powerhouse.

The captain of a caravan guard had his brow furrowed the whole time, seemingly pondering something until he suddenly seemed to realize something. He looked up with excitement and said:

”Wait a minute, I think I’ve heard of this lord before! The recent Dragon-man Transformation reminded me of a friend’s tale about a young Lord Rein transforming into a Dragon-man to kill Ancestor Dragon Kolaxius on the Frostwind Prairie.”

”Kolaxius? That mutated Ancestor Dragon? That’s an ancient monster close to an epic level!” gasped a traveler familiar with the situation.

”Lord Gray, do you know the identity of this gentleman?” An elder from the caravan respectfully inquired of the bearded Gray beside him.

After all, given Gray’s enthusiastic demeanor just now, everyone could tell that if anyone here knew the origins of this young powerhouse, it would be Gray.

”Of course! This is Lord Rein, the Imperial Sword Bearer; as for more details, I can’t disclose them to you.” The bearded Gray elevated his head, looking proud as he spoke.

”So it’s an Imperial Sword Bearer, no wonder!”

”He should be a lord from the Tamriel Sword Bearer Headquarters in the Imperial City; I’ve never heard of a branch lord being so powerful.” An elder who seemed familiar with the Sword Bearer affairs remarked.

In an instant, the Beverly Pass turned as noisy as a bustling marketplace!

Meanwhile, as the person in question, Rein, after donning the white wizard robe, quickly reached the other end of Beverly Pass under the escort of the bearded Gray and his men.

”Lord Gray, after I leave, you must stay vigilant. I’m concerned the Wind Roc Clan might take their anger out on you.” Rein thought for a moment and cautioned.

”Rest assured, Lord Rein, I’ve already reported the situation just now.” The bearded Gray firmly patted his robust chest as he assured.

”The Empire has more than just us here; as you know, an Imperial Guardian is stationed year-round at nearby Donia City, keeping an eye on the Wind Roc Queen.” Gray whispered the last sentence particularly softly.

”Hmm?”

”An Imperial Guardian nearby?” Rein pondered silently.

He was unaware of this, but judging by Gray’s expression, he mistakenly assumed he had known all along.

That was him overthinking it.

”Then I’m relieved. Farewell, Lord Gray, until next time!”

”Safe travels, Lord Rein!”

Rein and Anna mounted the Blood Feathered Horned Eagle once again.

With Blood Feather soaring into the sky, Rein sped off toward the southern horizon.

Just five minutes after taking off, Rein sensed a colored light rapidly approaching from his right, judging from its trajectory, seemingly coming from the depths of the Beverly Mountains.

Moreover, the speed of the approaching entity was astonishing, startling Rein.

Bear in mind that ’Intestine Breaker’ Merick’s speed was comparable to his full thrust ’Shadow Step’, yet the speed of this colored light surpassed Merick’s by more than double.

”Such speed and momentum...” Rein realized there was only one possibility.

It was that this time, the one coming was likely the Queen of the Wind Roc Clan, an epic powerhouse titled ’Lightning Walker’—Trist!

”Looks like I’ll have to use that move.” Rein’s eyes flickered.

The ’Soul Shatter Strike’ from the core skills of a Warhammer Wizard was currently his trump card, seemingly certain to injure even epic-level powerhouses.

Because Soul Shatter Strike deals true damage, unblockable by physical or elemental energy, even epic-level powerhouses would likely be heavily injured if struck by it.

At that time, by fully activating Dragon-man General Form, he might not be without a chance to fight!

”However... it’s certainly unwise to engage in an aerial battle against the Wind Roc Queen.”

Just as Rein planned to descend rapidly, a resounding dragon roar echoed ahead.

”Roar!”

A massive silver object rose into the sky, also rushing toward his direction.

Rein focused his gaze and saw a giant silver dragon, resembling the Red Dragon Tasa, which lay beneath the ’Red Queen’ Menia he had encountered, yet it appeared more slender, more streamlined, and faster.

In terms of speed compared to the approaching Wind Roc Clan Queen ’Lightning Walker’ Trist, it was only slightly inferior.

Within merely a few seconds, the silver and colored lights converged near Rein’s right side.

”Trist, you’re crossing the boundary.” A slightly aged voice echoed from the back of the silver dragon.
