Chapter 1003: Chapter 352: The New Master (Double-Length Chapter)

And the Ancestor Dragon Kolaxius, at this moment, was tauntingly watching Luther, who had turned into an ice sculpture after being hit by its ice flames, motionless.

Luther, as a legendary Titled Knight, naturally has some hidden tricks up his sleeve.

At this moment, although he couldn’t move, his body was emitting an earthy yellow light—this witchcraft light was blocking the cold damage of the ice flames from affecting him.

But compared to the power of Kolaxius’s ice flames, this earthy yellow witchcraft light felt like a candle flickering in the wind, ready to extinguish at any moment.

Kolaxius particularly enjoyed those little bugs that had some resistance, as they provided some amusement without the risk of losing control.

It planned to let this little bug in front of it continue to despair for a while longer.

As for itself, it intended to start with the old white-bearded thing that had wounded it last time.

When the slit eyes of Ancestor Dragon Kolaxius locked onto Batalov, the injured Third Level Crystallization Wizard suddenly felt a chill grip his heart.

He knew that this time, it would be nearly impossible to escape alive without fighting desperately.

Unless he let others from Winterfort Academy cover his retreat.

But as the headmaster of Winterfort Academy, he couldn’t bring himself to do such a thing, especially since this operation was his own suggestion.

Now, saying he felt no regret would be impossible for Batalov.

Alas! If only he had been more cautious!

Suddenly, the gigantic body of Kolaxius stiffened, his slit eyes skipped over Batalov and Werti, the beautiful Second Level Liquidization Wizard, and focused on a fast-approaching figure at the entrance of the nest.

”It’s you!”

Seeing that the newcomer was Rein, who had ambushed and severely injured it last time, Kolaxius’s anger flared instantly, and it roared.

But the next moment, Kolaxius thought of something and felt secretly pleased.

It had recently become significantly stronger and originally planned to find a chance to get revenge on the Barbarian Tribe and Rein—who would have thought that the opponent would deliver himself today? Where else could one find such a stroke of luck?

The old white-bearded thing is here today.

This guy is here too.

Today is indeed a great day for Kolaxius!

”Despicable sneak attacker, this time, I will devour you!” roared Ancestor Dragon Kolaxius in a low voice.

Suddenly, rolling sonic waves reverberated inside the nest, with shards of ice cascading from the icy cliffs atop.

Kolaxius had discovered last time that this human named Rein seemed to possess a considerable concentration of Dragon Bloodline.

It sensed that if it devoured Rein, its power could likely increase further.

Thus, at this moment, Kolaxius gazed at Rein with a food-like greed.

Luther, Batalov, Werti, and the others, meanwhile, were bewildered, watching Rein, who had suddenly attracted Kolaxius’s full attention, totally clueless about the situation.

Seeing Kolaxius’s furious expression, it seemed akin to a grudge stemming from a stolen wife.

”Eh, the opponent’s power has increased too?”

”Interesting!” As Rein got close, he immediately sensed the change in Kolaxius’s aura.

The opponent’s aura was notably stronger than during their last battle.

This only heightened Rein’s fighting spirit.

Because....

He had grown stronger too!

”Whoosh!”

The Ancestor Dragon Kolaxius took the initiative to attack, swinging a claw at Rein with an intensity surpassing its attack on Luther.

Yet, Rein used Shadow Step to dodge the strike instantly.

”Boom!”

Kolaxius’s giant claw smashed against the glacier wall, instantly producing a wave of white mixed with ice shards, completely shattering a section of the glacier wall.

Ice shards flew, and white icy mist filled the air.

This made it impossible for the retreating First Level Wizards from Winterfort Academy to see the continuation of the battle clearly.

Meanwhile, Rein transformed his hand into a Dual-Handed Greatsword, activating Weakness Control, and dealt a heavy slash to Kolaxius’s side abdomen!

”Tss~~~”

Sparks flew, creating merely a few-inch-deep wound.

”Huh, the defensive power has increased significantly!”

”Clang! Clang! Tss~~”

Rein flickered, creating a spread of afterimages aimed at various parts of Kolaxius, stabbing or slashing, but with little effect.

For the Ancestor Dragon Kolaxius, whose thinnest layer of skin was nearly half a meter thick, such attacks were mere trifles.

”Despicable sneak attacker, is this all you’ve got?”

Although Kolaxius missed hitting Rein after several consecutive claw strikes, seeing that Rein can inflict almost no damage, it felt relieved and taunted.

”Use that transformation ability of yours; perhaps it might bring me some amusement.”

”Oh? As you wish!” Rein narrowed his eyes, replied in a deep voice.

Transformation?

Atalov and the beautiful Werti exchanged glances, both seeing surprise in each other’s eyes.

The sudden appearance of this young man had already given them great delight. Although it couldn’t be said that the tide of the battle had turned, with his joining, at least the situation wouldn’t degrade quickly.

But what had they just heard?

The young man could transform?

Suddenly, under the astonished gaze of Luther and the high-ranking members of Winterfort Academy.

Rein’s form began to change dramatically!

Rein’s head started to grow horns; his tailbone began to sprout a tail; his white Master Robe burst instantly, with muscles swelling like inflating balloons, and his whole body became covered with scales....
