Wizard: Scamming a Demon God

Chapter 239: Chapter 1191: Is He Really a Mad Witch?

Only a Master of Dimensions could connect the Real World to their Dimension, and only then could the Dimension truly be used for combat. Otherwise, Wizards skilled in Spatial Authority could easily break in and wreak havoc.

The most unique of the four Concepts was [Profound]. This Concept... well, it was a bit complex. Like [Parallel], it was also naturally Nurtured as the Dimension grew stronger.

If [Parallel] was the Dimension’s defensive mechanism, then [Profound] was its offensive mechanism.

This Concept granted the Dimension World many unique and powerful abilities. The Erosive effect of Dimensional Magic Power, for example, came from [Profound]. Additionally, this Concept was quite diverse.

[Profound] could be used to strengthen the Erosive ability of Magic Power, or to create special lifeforms unique to the Dimension.

Especially the latter!

You have to understand, a Dimension is different from the Real World; it’s not nearly as rich and varied. Even if it Nurtures matter, that matter will be extremely monotonous. For example, in the Dimension of the Master of Billions of Flesh, the only matter that could be produced was flesh; besides that, there was only endless energy.

In such a world, it was extremely difficult for life to be born. Even energy-based life could not be Nurtured from a single type of energy.

But the Concept of [Profound] could forcibly Nurture life even in such a hostile environment!

And this time, Isaac’s Dimension World had Nurtured parts of the Concepts [Profound] and [Infinite], with [Infinite] making up the larger portion.

Isaac’s Dimension World no longer had any so-called boundaries. If you were to fly in one direction, you would neither return to your starting point nor reach an end.

Of course, this wasn’t the complete [Infinite]. Only the space was infinite; the energy contained within was still finite. To maintain energy density, Isaac had confined the energy to a certain area, which would also be the extent of the usable space for now.

’Big, but not very useful.’

For Isaac personally, the most helpful concept was undoubtedly [Profound]. Although his portion of this Concept didn’t Nurture new life, it did grant the energy within his Dimension World the ultimate destructive power!

In other words...

Isaac flipped his palm, and a wisp of deep purple energy surged into it. Though there was only a small amount, Isaac could feel the terrifying destructive power it contained!

’If I’d had this kind of Magic Power when I fought King Yitla, I would’ve won even more easily!’

Gazing at the Magic Power in his hand, Isaac narrowed his eyes. ’Now that I have this, my combat power should go up another notch. From now on, the focus of my Privilege Magic research should be on diversity, expanding my arsenal as much as possible.’

’Although three of my seven Magic Slots are pre-set, I still have four that can be used flexibly. The more Privilege Magic spells I master, the more tactical options I’ll have.’

’After all, my current Level limits how much deeper I can go with Privilege Magic, so I can only expand its breadth.’

’After all, raising one’s Wizard Level is still very difficult, even for someone like me who can take shortcuts.’

’Take body modification, for example. The Grand Wizard stage requires nine modifications, and I’ve only completed two. The Demon Eye transplant was supposed to happen before the ritual; that way, it would have also served as my promotion ritual.’

’However, the Kaleidoscope Demon Eye is transplanted between the eyebrows. I’m only ninety percent confident right now. That last ten percent isn’t about a lack of Knowledge, but a lack of experience.’

’It is my own head, after all, so I’d better be careful. I’ll practice a bit after I get back before performing the transplant on myself.’

’Besides, plans can’t keep up with changes. The scale of this ritual was just too large—so large I didn’t dare use it for my own promotion. Plus, you need to wait a while after each transplant for the organ to fuse with your body, and I just didn’t have the time.’

’So, I had to just go ahead with the ritual.’

PHEW~

”Hmm?” As Isaac was sensing the changes in his power, he suddenly noticed something in the sky. He immediately looked up. The previously hidden Barrier had started to appear, only to slowly fade away. This was a sign that the Barrier was being lifted. It also meant that the War in Itra was finally over!

A glint flashed in Isaac’s eyes. The violent Magic Power in his hand expanded rapidly before he casually tossed it down. In the same instant, he appeared before Lorna, activating Privileged Magic: Desperate Rabbit.

And then...

BOOM!

A purple-black Energy Ball rose from the castle, obliterating the entire structure along with the remnants of the two rituals inside!

Isaac emerged from the Energy Ball, bringing a terrified-looking Lorna with him.

’This wasn’t my laboratory, after all. Two Outer God Summoning rituals were performed here back-to-back, one of them on an immense scale. If I don’t completely erase all traces, this place could be exploited by someone with ill intentions and become an Anchor Point for an Outer God invasion!’

’That’s why it had to be destroyed. And Ordinary methods wouldn’t have worked, because it could have been restored with Time Magic.’

In this world, simply reversing time for physical matter wasn’t some profound Magic; even High-level Mages could learn to do it.

Fortunately, Isaac’s Dimension had condensed a portion of the Concept of [Profound], making his Magic Power’s destructive force far stronger. It could completely erase the traces of the ritual, to the point that not even Temporal Authority could restore them!

Unless it was a higher Level of the Authority of Time!

’But if a heavy hitter of that caliber really made a move, well, I would just have to accept my fate.’

”Lord Isaac?” Lorna asked, looking at Isaac in surprise. She didn’t understand why he had suddenly destroyed the castle. The War was indeed ending, but weren’t they on the winning side?

’Why does it feel like Isaac is in a hurry, as if he’s fleeing for his life?’

”The situation has changed. We need to leave Itra at once, or we might face danger on the road,” Isaac said, his gaze still fixed on the Barrier in the sky.

”Th- I understand! I don’t have anything to prepare. I can leave whenever you’re ready!” Although Lorna was confused, she trusted Isaac. She believed he wouldn’t lead her into a trap.

Soon, under Isaac’s watchful gaze, the Barrier in the sky grew fainter and fainter until the azure sky became visible.

”Go!” Isaac’s pupils contracted as he let out a low shout. A red-glowing Magic Hexagram lit up between his eyebrows. Behind him, shadowy tears in space appeared, and a rift, like the maw of a great worm, suddenly gaped open and swallowed Isaac and Lorna whole.

The next moment, they reappeared in the Itra Royal Capital, right in front of Smith. Smith was currently with his second brother, Remington, clearing the ruins of the Royal Capital.

The future Itra Royal City would be built here, so the original ruins had to be cleared out first.

’It had to be said, while the Itra Royal Family had been awful in recent years, the original King Yitla had actually been quite wise and capable. That much was clear from the location chosen for the Royal Capital. A pity he slowly changed.’

”Isaac?”

”Young Master Isaac?”

The two men stared in shock at the sudden appearance of Isaac and Lorna. Then, a look of joy spread across Smith’s face. If Isaac was here and safe, it meant the deal with the Demon God had been successfully completed.

’The crazy Young Master Isaac has survived another round!’

However, the newly arrived Isaac didn’t waste time on pleasantries. He merely glanced at Remington, and after a moment’s thought, the spatial tears reappeared behind him, swallowing Smith, Remington, Lorna, and a Mechanical Body in one gulp!

”Hmm? Running away so fast? Is this kid really a Mad Witch?” In the sky, Mensa, who was overseeing the dismantling of the Barrier, noticed Isaac’s actions. Being highly experienced, he instantly understood Isaac’s reasoning.

’He’s just worried about retaliation from other factions, or that someone is eyeing the treasures he’s about to receive. He’s afraid of being ambushed, so he’s taking advantage of this brief window right after the Barrier came down, while everyone is still putting on a civil front and won’t dare to act rashly, to just bolt.’

’In any case, he wouldn’t be short-changed on his share of the spoils; they would be delivered to his territory later.’

The few others present saw this as well, and their expressions were all a bit strange...

’How to put it... his actions were entirely correct. An innocent man becomes a target when he carries a treasure, and the Flesh Sect, after all, couldn’t intimidate everyone.’

But...

’Aren’t you supposed to be a goddamn Mad Witch?’

’Why are you being so cautious?’
