Undead Mage from a Cell

After looking at the Hydra, Gu Xi glanced at the Black Forest and Pillar of Evil Eye outside the maze.

Gu Xi found that the previous owner of the underground city managed food resources quite well.

Each training camp has a corresponding supplementary food source.

In addition, the Cave Dwellers regularly delivered meals.

So when it comes to food, Gu Xi doesn’t have to worry too much.

At least what Gu Xi thought before, the issue of insufficient food temporarily won’t occur.

Just at this time, Dominic sent a message that he had almost finished investigating the intelligence in the Demon City.

Upon hearing this news, Gu Xi did not idle, he immediately left the underground space, took a large detour, and then rushed to the castle there.

”Master.”

Seeing Gu Xi arrive, Dominic immediately began to talk about the situation in the Demon City.

”I have counted all the types of troops in the city; when the land title was handed over, the other party took away all the soldiers.

Only a week’s production remains in the city.

However, they haven’t touched the residents in the city, as some places need manpower. If they take away this part of the manpower, the city’s operation will stop.

In the castle, there are two Black Dragons, Red Dragons, and Green Dragons each, all of Level 8.

Six Hydras, eight Nine-headed Monsters, six Nightmares, eight Scorpion Lions, sixteen Minotaurs, all of Level 7.

Besides these sixteen combat-capable Minotaurs, there are more than a hundred other Minotaurs in the city combined.

About fifty are in the maze outside the city, and the rest are working in the Blacksmith Shop inside the city.

If needed, they can be mobilized to join the battle.

There are 32 Medusa Archers and Medusa Shooters each, 26 Evil Eyes, 50 Thieves, and 50 Cave Dwellers.

Among these, there are about 200 staff in places such as the Tavern and Market, who can also be mobilized for battle when needed.

The Cave Dwellers mainly work on farms, with around a thousand in number.

In operational farms, all Cave Dwellers have been retained.

There are two types of Harpies, divided into close combat type and magic combat type; close combat type has about 48, and magic combat type has fewer, with 36.

The close combat type Harpies are partially stationed on the City Wall, with about 150 there.

Magic combat type Harpies are arranged to work in many buildings, with relatively more, about 360 currently found.

These are all powers that can be quickly deployed for battle.

However, if they all come out, the operations of various buildings will stop.

Personally, I recommend not to use this batch of troops.”

”If these already working troops are not used, the actual force in the city is Black, Red, and Green Dragons, two each; Hydras, regardless of the variety, total 14; Nightmares, six; Scorpion Lions, eight; Minotaurs, 16.

Medusa Archers and Medusa Shooters total 64; Evil Eyes, 26; Thieves, 50; Cave Dwellers, 50.

Harpies total 84, right.”

”That’s right.”

Dominic stated confidently.

Listening to these figures, Gu Xi was silent for a long time, finally muttering.

”This is a Level 6 city, just these troops?

This combat force is even less than those Bone-devouring Muds you brought.”

Gu Xi was not wrong, he thought there would be more troops here.

Unexpectedly, it’s just such a small force.

With these troops, not to mention Gu Xi, any hero under Gu Xi can easily handle them.

Such a force wants to guard the Demon City.

No need to think, better send the Undead Corps first.

However, the situation of the Undead Corps was not very good now either.

To rush over, Dominic’s Undead Corps were odd-shaped undead forces.

At one glance, it was clear they were not proper undead.

Though numbers have increased, there’s no range, no close combat.

The battle outside the city might be handled for a while, but guarding the castle might be impossible.

Dominic also felt troubled.

Seeing Dominic this way, Gu Xi finally said, ”Forget it, the Black Dragons, Red Dragons, and those miscellaneous dragons here are yours first.

Moreover, I remember there are many non-undead forces near the Fire Pit.

Now no matter their attributes, transfer them all here for now.

Take them first, handle this wild monster sieging situation for now.

Once the Demon City is secured, consider other matters.

By the way, did you clarify attribute augmentation?

Since we have left Yaliduvi District, plus the forces here aren’t undead, they can’t enjoy the various benefits of Yalidu City.

After leaving, their combat power will definitely be weaker than the troops inside Yalidu City.

Perhaps even a Bone Locust within Yalidu City has more life force than a Cave Dweller.

Now that the Demon City is low on forces, naturally, Gu Xi wants to inquire more and see if there’s a way to compensate otherwise.

Hearing this, Dominic quickly responded, ”It has been clarified, I must admit, the underground does quite well on combat power augmentation.

Not to mention the War Academy, all soldiers gain a direct increase of 2 points in Attack Power, 2 points in Defense Power, and 25 points in Life Force.

It can be said to exist for war.

The Captain’s House is the real key.”

Captain’s House?

Gu Xi carefully thought about it, it seems like a medium-sized building.

By name, it doesn’t seem much.

But since Dominic mentioned it, there must be something different about it.

So Gu Xi thought for a moment and then asked, ”Does this have a purpose? Stationed?”

”It can’t be considered stationed; this is a place for Boss and Warrior Level soldiers. Once they enter here, they gain attribute enhancements.

As for what will be enhanced depends on the Heroes stationed in the city.

Because Bosses and Warriors are considered leaders by ordinary soldiers, it’s called the Captain’s House.”

”The Boss receives enhancements, then...”

”Other soldiers will also receive corresponding enhancements,” Dominic confidently affirmed.

Apparently, Dominic had examined the entire Demon City during this period.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t be this clear.

”So it means current attributes can actually be enhanced somewhat.

Though the enhancement amount may not be as significant as Yalidov.

But this is normal.

After all, we have just acquired this Demon City.

It’s good news for us; you can follow this direction primarily to enhance combat power of the city’s forces.

Also, there’s no Soul Summoning Tower in the city, so for the supplementation of the Undead Corps, you need to handle this carefully.”
