Emerging from the rift in time and space, Gu Xi discovered that the giant bat had already flown over the magic district.

Unlike the style of the main city district, the magic district, under Eve’s arrangements, had transformed into a gigantic magic array.

Various towers and the Magic Academy occupied key positions throughout the magic district.

Under the influence of these towers and buildings, the architectural style of the magic district also adopted a towering appearance.

However, unlike regular mage towers, the towers here primarily featured dark red, dark purple, and deep black colors.

Near the tower buildings, there were numerous tombs, inside which lay the bodies with potential to become magic professionals, as suggested by Eve.

Through these means, a large amount of mana had already gathered in the magic district.

When the giant bat flew in, Gu Xi could clearly feel a large amount of mana clinging to his body surface.

In such an environment, a mage’s mana is almost limitless and the power of spells can be greatly enhanced, making this a perfect area for mages to learn and grow.

It seems that Eve’s arrangements have been quite successful.

The giant bat, unaware of this, continued along its original flight path, heading towards the flying point of the magic district.

Gu Xi noticed at this moment that the flying point of the magic district was located near the clock tower.

It seems during the migration, even this sacred artifact was brought over to the magic district.

As the giant bat descended, it circled the clock tower once before landing at the flying point.

After dismounting from the giant bat, Gu Xi saw another giant bat flying in.

Apparently, Gu Xi was not the only one using flying mounts for travel; the setup of the flying point was a significant advancement for Gu Xi.

Gu Xi nodded satisfactorily, preparing to head toward the library.

Unexpectedly, the person who had just dismounted from the giant bat called out to Gu Xi.

”Sir.”

Gu Xi turned his head, ”Brave Fight, why are you in the magic district?”

”I usually spend my free time studying and researching magic ceremonies in the magic district. Today, I am here for some business and wish to ask Lady Eve for some help.”

Brave Fight hadn’t expected to encounter Gu Xi at the flying point.

Normally, Gu Xi preferred to use the Holy Silver Evil Coffin for travel.

That’s also how it is in Yalidu City.

Brave Fight had seen Gu Xi use the Holy Silver Evil Coffin at high speed many times.

He hadn’t expected Gu Xi to ride a flying mount here.

”Oh, I happen to need to see Eve as well, let’s go together. What do you need from her?”

Meeting one of his heroic subordinates during downtime made Gu Xi happy; he planned to care for his loyal hero.

Heroes shouldn’t only be brought out for battles, without concerning about their lives otherwise.

”It’s nothing major, I encountered some strange magic potions during the last battle. The quality of these potions seems off, and they might not be safely consumable.

So, I handed them all over to Lady Eve, asking for help to see what changes had occurred.

I just received Lady Eve’s owl notification, saying she had uncovered the situation and to meet her in the underground alchemy laboratory.”

Gu Xi knew which batch of magic potions Brave Fight was referring to.

This was the batch produced through mana extraction targeting the Mud Undead.

Brave Fight’s efforts were pivotal to Gu Xi’s triumph over the Octopus-headed Undead Mage at the time.

If not for the Demon Sacrifice Camp extracting mana fully to dry the Mud Undead’s bodies, the Mud Undead wouldn’t have been as easy to defeat as imagined.

As a result, Brave Fight and his group gained a significant amount of mana.

Originally, this mana would be distributed among Brave Fight’s subordinates or used by the Skeleton Mage, Corpse Witch, and Witch Demon of other magic corps.

Some would be delivered into Gu Xi’s hands.

Within a day or two, these magic potions would be completely consumed.

However, before distributing them, Brave Fight noticed that the potions were different from usual.

Normal magic potions are a clear light blue, like the reflection of the sky on a lake surface.

However, the magic potions before him were blue, but looked murky like muddy water.

Thus, Brave Fight immediately sought out Eve to ask her to investigate the nature of these potions.

Initially, Eve mentioned that this magic potion was hard to address.

She needed a few days to seriously research; it was just now that she provided Brave Fight with an update, saying some results were discovered and to come and collect the report.

Hearing about such matters, Gu Xi also became a bit intrigued.

”Let’s go, I want to take a look too.”

Brave Fight, seeing Gu Xi’s interest, didn’t mind and accompanied Gu Xi towards the direction of the underground alchemy laboratory.

The underground alchemy laboratory is located near the mage tower, accompanied by two tombs serving as residential buildings.

Gu Xi glanced at the mage tower as he passed by.

”Why does this mage tower look so much like the White Bone Magic Tower?”

The original White Bone Magic Tower was built by Gu Xi himself, so it left a deep impression.

The current mage tower bears some similarities to the White Bone Magic Tower.

This prompted Gu Xi to ask another question.

”It’s modified according to the White Bone Magic Tower’s design. Here, Undead with potential for magic are arranged to study. After becoming magic apprentices, they are assigned based on their skills to nearby herb fields, the alchemy laboratory, the enchantment platform, or elsewhere to work.

Once the time comes, they’ll transition into various magic professions.

You could say this is a temporary training ground for units, mainly training bodies with not much potential.

Those trained typically become magic workers.”

Brave Fight seemed to have been here many times, and hearing Gu Xi’s query, he promptly explained.

While talking, they quickly arrived at the entrance to the underground alchemy laboratory.

The entrance to this underground alchemy laboratory looked similar to the entrance to nearby tombs, with several toppled gravestones in front.

These gravestones had been repurposed as steps, and as Gu Xi stepped on them, he could clearly see the inscriptions.

Founding ancestor, late venerable, Isaac, and so on.

Following the steps made of gravestones into the underground alchemy laboratory, Gu Xi noticed that the passage swiftly descended, without winding, and they quickly arrived at a massive processing plant entirely encased in steel.

In this factory, over a hundred Undead were busy brewing some special magic potions.

From their attire, they seemed to be magic apprentices trained from the nearby mage tower.

Even though their actions now were rather mechanical, they certainly had a bright future.
