Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1076: Chapter 1074: Gu Xi Pulled It Off

Brave Fight quickly settled on the final quantity and left with the delivery note under Eve’s repeated assurances.

After Brave Fight left, Gu Xi raised the research materials in his hand, ”Are you planning to make Stone Giants?”

”Yes, Stone Giants are actually considered the foundation on the tower side. I’ve already cleared part of the Mage pathway, and the Mage Tower outside is something I’ve managed to establish.

We can first let the Undead learn and become Magic Apprentices.

No matter what path they take in the future, what they learn now is necessary.

The most important thing is that I can train professions like Warlocks, Alchemists, and Mages.

They can at least help me with research.

But while the foundation of the Magic System is established, the Puppet side lacks a foundation.

Stone Golems are part of the Flying Team, with a completely different direction, unable to form a system.

Stone Giants instead become the foundation for a breakthrough.

I’ve been researching how to mix Stone Giants with Undeads during this period.

Your Excellency, look at these materials that I’ve studied during this time.”

Eve spoke while taking out a large amount of materials and placing them in front of Gu Xi.

Gu Xi flipped through them one by one.

He discovered that Eve had really exerted herself over the tower system.

Eve truly invested a lot of energy in Stone Giants, such as inserting corpses into their bodies, starting with complete corpses, later inserting organs and bones.

Anything that could be inserted was put inside.

Among these is an experimental record of inserting black ash into the Stone Giant’s body.

Among all the experimental records, there are various experiment results documented.

Judging from the data in front of him, the experiments were not very successful.

Eve’s experimental goals were quite clear.

One is to ensure that the resulting Stone Giant is not weaker than a normal Stone Giant.

This is quite important because if it is weaker than a normal Stone Giant, then what is the point of making them.

Another is to turn Stone Giants from Puppet Species into Undead Species.

The Stone Giants Eve wants to make are not just ones with a touch of the Undead presence; he wants to turn them into genuine Undead Species.

Even if that’s not possible, they should be like Stone Golems, partial Undead Species.

Only then can Luna nod in agreement to build a casting factory.

Otherwise, simply adding some Undead essence to Stone Giants wouldn’t even warrant Luna’s glance.

The results of these experiments fall far short of Eve’s goals.

Most are not suitable for either goal.

A minority meet one criterion while the other is unsuitable.

There were numerous research projects, but none were successful in the end.

Gu Xi noticed that within these experimental materials, there’s even experimentation with Iron Finger.

However, the experimental results were not ideal.

In the end, it only resulted in failure.

”Is there a possibility for success in this experiment?”

Gu Xi asked curiously, ”Moreover, there’s only so much Magic Potion, even if the experiment is successful, the number of Stone Giants that can be made is limited. You aren’t just trying to swindle funds, are you?”

”Not at all, I’m currently studying the situation with Magic Potions.

My idea is, if possible, to use these Magic Potions as the foundation to construct a Magic Pool, finding a way to generate similar Magic Potions; although it cannot be 100% replicated, similar effects can still be achieved.

Your Excellency, look at these research materials we’ve put together for replication.”

Gu Xi received another set of materials from Eve, his eyebrows furrowing involuntarily.

”Are the materials corpses and souls?”

”Yes, though the quantity required isn’t much, they are certainly needed. Without corpses and souls, Magic Potions could only be the most basic Magic Potions and would not have other variations.

These Magic Potions were extracted from enemy Undead bodies.

Due to proportion issues, we cannot achieve an exact match, only estimating a ratio, now we’re able to achieve an eighty percent similarity.

This situation doesn’t satisfy Brave Fight’s demand.

But for my needs, it’s sufficient.

I even need to dilute it with water and add other components for Stone Giant production.”

Gu Xi, currently enjoying enhanced Intelligence, would easily memorize everything he saw.

Upon Eve’s explanation, Gu Xi envisioned one potential method.

”Are you planning to treat the clay used for making Stone Giants further, then mix it with these Magic Potions to cast Stone Giants?”

”I have such plans, later we’ll see how to conduct experiments, whether adding bone ash into the soil is better, or whether fresh flesh might be better.”

Eve seeing Gu Xi following her thoughts was very delighted and immediately began discussing with him.

”Our most successful Stone Giant experiment involved adding bone ash and then using fresh blood to merge it.

Both criteria were met but were slightly off.

We checked later and found the blood was inappropriate.

Adding bone ash was the right approach.

However, at that time, the amount of bone ash was incorrect, leading to insufficient Undead Transformation of the Stone Giant and combat power inferior to a normal Stone Giant.

But the situation is different now.

Previously, Shaya mentioned needing those Bone Shattering Ashes by that group of Mummies.

This gave me an idea.

I haven’t studied Mummies.

But some of their ideas, I found worthy of consideration.”

”I’ve only seen those Mummies once, haven’t researched them much, but I feel they have a large demand for Bone Shattering Ashes. Do they have methods for creating Bone Shattering Ashes or similar products?”

”They likely do, but they wouldn’t sell it to us.”

”What about the Soul Gathering Land?

In the gray waste there, large amounts of shattered bones and perhaps other things are available; have you tried adding some to the Stone Giants?”

Upon hearing this, Eve looked at Gu Xi, ”I’ve added champion awareness, but the effect didn’t seem good.

The impact of champion awareness is too weak. To make a Stone Giant a Champion Species, at least a thousand pieces are required.

That is fundamentally impossible.”

”How about the flora along the Yellow Springs Road near the Soul Gathering Land?

I noticed in your research experiments, most additions were animal remains. Haven’t any Netherworld flora been added?

Moreover, we can now perform Ghost Gate Opening; if that doesn’t work, can we directly utilize Netherworld soil?”

Eve thoughtfully considered, Netherworld soil?

That hadn’t crossed her mind.

But upon hearing, she knew it was a great idea.

Eve hadn’t considered this due to her profession’s disparity compared to Gu Xi’s.

Eve hasn’t visited Soul Gathering Land, only heard about its conditions.

She’s seen Mummies but hasn’t delved deeply into understanding them.

The Gate of the Underworld is placed there, but she hasn’t entered.

Let alone studying Gu Xi’s new skill, Ghost Gate Opening.

This exposed an issue in Eve’s research direction.

Seeing Eve like this, Gu Xi realized that this time he had scored a hit.
