Under the multicolored light, Gu Xi felt a sudden darkening in the sky. When he looked up, he saw a massive city phantom hovering above.

Although it was his first time personally setting down the Land Title, Gu Xi immediately understood that this was the final adjustment as the city descended.

The city in the sky was significantly simpler compared to Gu Xi’s Yalidu City.

The city before him was constructed with a central castle surrounded by other buildings.

The central castle looked like a pot-shaped fortress, standing about sixty meters tall and covering an area of about one square kilometer.

It was entirely made of a kind of earth-yellow brick.

The walls were also covered with numerous giant dragon claw prints.

From this, it was clear that the fortress had the function of allowing giant dragons to take off and land.

Different distributions surrounded the castle on all sides.

From the current situation, Gu Xi could see that the city before him, while compact, had everything it should have.

And it was already divided into zones, requiring no further adjustments from Gu Xi.

Gu Xi simply moved the position on the open ground, aligning the buildings inside the city with the nodes already arranged on the ground.

Because Gu Xi had previously adjusted the earth vein, all the nodes were specifically adjusted according to the positions marked on the Land Title.

While it was impossible to achieve perfect alignment, significant differences would not occur.

With a slight adjustment, Gu Xi aligned the buildings with the nodes one by one.

After confirming there were no problems, Gu Xi relaxed his hand, and the city’s phantom fell from the sky.

As the phantom settled into position at each node, Gu Xi felt a wave of movement from the ground.

Soon after, a large amount of smoke billowed up, as if something was falling from the sky and hitting the ground one after another.

Before Gu Xi could react, he was transported out of the foundation site.

When Gu Xi regained his senses, he found he had been sent beyond the city wall he had previously conquered.

Simultaneously, his Undead Corps had also been sent out.

Gu Xi quickly stepped forward and jumped onto the city wall.

Standing on the wall, Gu Xi saw the smoke rapidly dissipating, revealing a complete city before him.

The city before him now had a new circle of city walls around its perimeter, matching the inner fortress, made of the same earth-yellow brick.

Between the new city wall and the wall where Gu Xi stood, there seemed to be some buildings belonging to this city.

Gu Xi was momentarily stunned by this, then came to an understanding.

He had underestimated the area of a Level 6 city; although the city previously taken by Luna was large,

the fifty square kilometer size could not accommodate the underground city before him.

When it was deployed, the underground city was layered and adjusted, placing most buildings within a fifty square kilometer area, but some buildings were inevitably located outside the city walls.

This was the situation between the two city walls.

From his vantage point on the wall, Gu Xi saw at first glance the bird nests and maze positioned on the second layer of city walls.

The bird nests were constructed from ordinary twigs, lined with red, white, or blue feathers, while the maze was built from trees and black stones, wide enough for a carriage at its broadest and so narrow that Skeleton Soldiers had to walk sideways at its slimmest.

These two structures added significant difficulty to the new city.

Whether entering from the ground or the sky, one would face attacks from the creatures in the bird nests and the maze.

”This is enlarging the city walls,” Gu Xi mumbled, just as he was about to look for the city gate he heard a horn sound from within the city, and an astonishing scene unfolded.

From the maze emerged Minotaurs over two and a half meters tall, holding nothing at all.

Seeing them emerge, Gu Xi was left speechless.

He could swear he hadn’t seen where these Minotaurs were hiding initially.

Yet here they were, coming out at the sound of a single horn?

Before Gu Xi could discern where they had hidden initially, the Minotaurs had pushed the walls of the maze aside, revealing a passageway.

Soon after, a drawbridge descended from the rear city walls, connecting to the wall Gu Xi was on.

It dawned on Gu Xi that this was an indication that the city was set up, and one could enter the underground city either through the maze passage or over the drawbridge.

Without hesitation, Gu Xi took a step forward.

At that moment, a voice rang in Gu Xi’s ears.

[You have activated a Land Title; the Land Title’s alignment with the earth vein is 96.5%. All buildings are activated; city level: Level 6. Please name this territory!]

[...]

Gu Xi had long decided on a name for this underground city.

Initially, he planned to name this city Black Dragon City, but upon Luna obtaining an Orange Armor here, the Mirror Demon City,

it inspired Gu Xi to choose a new name: Demon City.

”This city before us shall be named Demon City!”

As Gu Xi’s voice faded, another voice echoed in his ears.
