[The Death City Elthorpe Super New City you have locked onto is being reclaimed as its owner Nikola Dodo (player, Master of Filth, Level 11) is retreating. Do you wish to launch an attack on the city using the opponent’s coordinates?]

[Note: If you launch an attack using the opponent’s coordinates, your city will also be detected by the opponent.]

As the octopus-headed Undead Mage fled, such a prompt appeared in front of Gu Xi.

Under normal circumstances, Gu Xi would indeed hesitate for a moment.

But right now, a unit of the opponent’s forces had already breached Yalidu City.

In addition, the battle here was almost over.

How could Gu Xi let a Death City escape right before his eyes?

”Launch the attack.”

”All heroes listen to my orders. Except for those specifically named to stay and clean the battlefield, the rest retreat into Yalidu City as soon as possible.”

Gu Xi immediately issued a retreat order to his subordinates.

At the same time, Gu Xi turned to look at the deputy commander and others behind him; their Undead Calamity Array had not been set up yet.

Regarding their speed, Gu Xi shook his head. At this speed, they couldn’t even catch up with warm food.

However, Gu Xi couldn’t manage them, so he could only shake his head helplessly in the end.

Under Gu Xi’s command, his subordinates quickly sprang into action.

Except for the few utility heroes who were named and were clearing out the remaining enemies on the battlefield, all other heroes and undead quickly withdrew into different city gates.

The fastest to retreat was Amirka’s Nether Blue Knight Order.

However, instead of heading directly into Yalidu, he approached Gu Xi.

”My lord.”

”You did well this time. The battle banner you just received, let me see it and figure out how to handle it.”

Upon hearing this, Amirka quickly handed the battle banner to Gu Xi and said, ”My lord, I want to rename my knight order.”

”Oh, rename it to what?”

Gu Xi took the battle banner but hadn’t looked at it yet when he heard this, and he became a little curious. With Amirka’s naming ability, would the name even be acceptable?

”I want to rename my knight order to the Aurora Knight Order.”

”Aurora, huh? Alright, let me see first.”

Gu Xi lowered his head to look at the battle banner in his hand.

[Mud Sixteenth Legion Battle Banner (Purple): The main battle banner from the Mud Sixteenth Legion, it grants the right to form a regiment to one leader-level hero. The regiment’s formation level is Legion Level; after formation, promptly find a place to station it.]

Seeing the information in front of him, Gu Xi realized two things.

First, this is different from the Blade Peak Mountain Battle Banner type; this is considered a formal battle banner. With a battle banner comes a formation, but it requires a station to qualify as a regular army.

Secondly, Mud Sixteenth Legion?

Doesn’t that mean there could be more than fifteen units capable of confining Amirka’s forces?

This won’t be easy to defeat.

Gu Xi didn’t actually know that the situation was different between Octopus Head and him; their main forces were managed and battle banners distributed uniformly.

Mud Sixteenth Legion doesn’t mean the octopus-headed Undead Mage has sixteen legions, but rather that this octopus-headed Undead Mage has one such legion.

However, Gu Xi didn’t know this.

At this moment, his view of the octopus-headed Undead Mage shifted a bit.

But the final goal remained unchanged. With a Death City right in front of him and his forces already inside, Gu Xi had no reason to let this Death City escape.

So Gu Xi decisively swiped the [Mud Sixteenth Legion Battle Banner] to erase the sixteen skulls on the banner, as well as its name.

”Alright, later find someone to paint the battle banner, and once there’s a station, raise it up.

But for now, all I can do is change the name; the attributes can’t be altered and will remain original. Handle it as you see fit.

If it’s usable, keep it; if not, figure out a solution. At worst, trade it in Pei Xin City for a new one.”

Handing the battle banner back to Amirka, Gu Xi spoke with some helplessness.

For players, their battle banners are enhanced by winning battles and obtaining various emblems they can paint on them.

The name of the battle banner itself is not important; what’s important are the banner’s attributes.

Most battle banner attributes adjust based on the original holder’s situation.

Like the Blade Peak Mountain Corps battle banner Dietrich finally acquired, it had attributes enhancing various weapon effects.

That’s why Gu Xi gave it to Dietrich for use.

Currently, this Mud Sixteenth Legion Battle Banner focuses more on the balance of combat for subordinates.

It doesn’t quite match some of Amirka’s requirements.

But Amirka isn’t picky, thinking it’s better to have a battle banner first and make adjustments later.

After all, among the three leader-level heroes under Gu Xi, only he lacked a suitable battle banner.

At this moment, Gu Xi’s subordinates were hauling various corpses into Yalidu City.

Though Gu Xi was eager to pursue the enemy’s Death City, he wouldn’t abandon the task of cleaning up the battlefield.

He even decisively deployed the Ghost Squad to swiftly clear the battlefield.

A large amount of equipment and materials were quickly brought to Gu Xi, counted by the undead responsible for accounting and the warehouse in Yalidu City before Gu Xi.

Gu Xi now got a glimpse into the situation of the octopus-headed player.

They really were not the same type of player as Gu Xi and his group.

The equipment of these octopus-headed players was all in a half-metal, half-biological state.

It appeared to be a fusion of biology and technology.

If one didn’t mind their appearance, some of them were quite practical.

At least most of the deceased octopus-headed players on the battlefield carried one or two pieces of purple armor.

But Gu Xi had no interest in what those octopus-headed players carried.

After glancing at the equipment found on the battlefield, Gu Xi decided not to use them personally.

In Gu Xi’s opinion, it’s better to recycle and remold these items than to use them as they are.

If worse comes to worst, these pieces of purple armor could be used as offerings. After all, the White Bone Obelisk required them.

At that moment, several White Impermanences drifted over with three heads and a large amount of bones.

”What’s this? The corpse of the undead leader from before?”

Gu Xi immediately recognized the origin of the heads.

He also thought of how this undead leader had held up Amirka’s Nether Blue Knight Order for a long time.

It seemed like a useful material, which piqued Gu Xi’s interest as he waved at the White Impermanences.

”Record it, send it to Evil Wood Lake, and wait for me to handle it when I get back.”
