Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1021: Chapter 1019: Seizing Death City

”All troops advance, release the Bone Dragon Corps, don’t let that guy get away.”

This was Gu Xi’s first battle against an enemy’s Death City.

He was well aware of the situation in Death City.

As long as the master of Death City senses danger, he can retreat to his own city at any time and close the city gate.

Not even ghosts can find the existence of Death City.

Therefore, life-and-death battles rarely occur between Death Cities.

Unless you can stall the opponent before they retreat into Death City.

Don’t give the opponent a chance to close the city gate.

Such occurrences are very rare.

However, the current situation made Gu Xi see an opportunity to capture the opponent’s Death City.

He had a feeling that this octopus-headed Undead Mage before him did not have a deep understanding of Death City.

And he was not particularly confident either.

Like now, even when Gu Xi had already dispatched troops from his own Death City, he still didn’t believe Gu Xi could simultaneously master the Two Divine Skills of Death.

Who knows what’s going on in his head?

Gu Xi wouldn’t concern himself with such a situation.

The opponent had already placed such a huge bait before him.

If Gu Xi didn’t take it, he would waste the opportunity right in front of him.

So after dispatching his own troops, Gu Xi did not remain idle; he decisively released the main city gate and the steel city gate, positioning them perfectly on either side of the enemy’s city gate.

At this moment, another mage within the octopus head noticed something amiss.

He used another method to stimulate his companion to snap out of the shock.

”Nikola Dodo, wake up, this is not the time for you to go crazy. Have you forgotten our mission here?”

The octopus-headed Undead Mage’s eyes spewed blue blood, and he let out a sharp scream.

Once he snapped back to reality, the octopus-headed Undead Mage realized the situation.

He decisively ordered, ”Release the Mud Snake Monster, damn it, what are those flying things full of bones? Mocking me for not having any Two-legged Flying Dragons?”

Under the order of the octopus-headed Undead Mage, a special Undead Corps rushed out of the city gate.

The number of this Undead Corps was not large, only about a dozen, but their levels were quite high.

Around Level 13.

The appearance of these undead naturally followed the undead style of the octopus head.

No matter what, their bodies were covered in mud.

However, unlike previous kinds, beneath the mud were not random bones or decayed armor.

Within the semi-transparent mud was a complete giant bone serpent, fifteen meters long.

Many human remains were encased within the ribs of the bone serpent.

This thing, except for not being able to fly, felt like a muddy version of a Bone Dragon to Gu Xi.

”Is it a life-and-death struggle? ”

After deploying his troops, Gu Xi was confident in his heart.

The enemy wanted to fight.

So, fight until they die.

Gu Xi waved his hand, and the Bone Dragon Corps that had just rushed out noticeably changed in 60 obvious ways.

As an undead mage of the octopus head, he was most sensitive to this.

He looked up at the sky, a trace of doubt flashing in his eyes.

”How is this possible?”

”Nikola Dodo, what’s wrong with you again?”

The other mage in the octopus head was speechless.

What’s this situation? You just regained clarity from chaos, why are you confused again?

The octopus-headed Undead Mage pointed at the Bone Dragons in the sky.

”This isn’t right. Normally, one to three Death Incarnations appear at most, which is already the limit. Why does it look like there are sixty Death Incarnations?”

The octopus head had no idea that Gu Xi possessed the Hand of Death.

That was used to enhance Death Incarnations, to develop various effects of the Death Incarnation, a good tool, even Gu Xi himself previously did not know he had such a thing.

The current means were entirely just recently mastered by Gu Xi.

Sixty Bone Dragons empowered by the Death Incarnation simultaneously spewed Death Dragon Breath towards those Mud Snake Monsters on the ground.

With this breath, the sky turned a pure green.

The Mud Snake Monsters that had just rushed out of the city gate, in the face of such a situation, still raised their heads and launched an attack at the Bone Dragons in the sky.

When the Bone Dragons spewed Death Dragon Breath, the Mud Snake Monsters also spewed their beam.

A gray light.

Somewhat resembling the dissolving ray of a Death Incarnation - Bone Dragon.

But its effect was the opposite of the fusion ray, it was a petrifying ray, which upon hitting the enemy, could petrify them and had a certain chance of killing them directly.

This attacking method undoubtedly elevated the status of the Mud Snake Monsters.

In the Undead Mage’s ranks, who wouldn’t look up to them?

Unfortunately, they encountered Death Incarnated Bone Dragons.

Not to mention the level of these Bone Dragons, elevated from Level 8 to Level 18, even some properties were enhanced by the effects of Death Incarnation.

The undying effect of the Death Incarnation also applied to the Bone Dragons.

Even if these Bone Dragons were petrified, or had killing intentions, they would only exit the state of Death Incarnation.

They could still continue fighting as Bone Dragons.

Additionally, the number of these Mud Snake Monsters was simply too few.

With only a dozen Mud Snake Monsters, they couldn’t accomplish much in this situation.

After a round of Death Dragon Breath, the Mud Snake Monsters were annihilated.

Regardless of whether they had been transformed into a Death Incarnation, these Bone Dragons had no intention of stopping here.

They swiftly charged toward the enemy’s city gate.

This was a golden opportunity to seize the enemy’s Death City, they couldn’t miss it.

But at that moment, the octopus-headed Undead Mage, who regained his senses from chaos, also deployed his last resort.

”Rise, Giant Beast Transformation!”

As Gu Xi was in contact with Eldest Princess Anna, preparing to release more troops, he looked upon the situation with confusion.

What is this weird thing, Giant Beast Transformation?

Are they still considered Undead Mages?

How did they transform into a giant beast?

As Gu Xi pondered, the Mud Snake Monsters previously slain by the Bone Dragons began rolling toward a direction.

Startled, Gu Xi immediately realized.

These Mud Undeads were on a different system from the Undeads Gu Xi used.

Even if these undead were dead, they could recombine.

Sure enough, under the command of the octopus-headed Undead Mage, the mud started to fuse again, and the bones of the fallen Mud Snake Monsters quickly pieced together into a huge muddy mass resembling a small mountain.

Within the semi-transparent muddy mass, Gu Xi could even see the bones of the Snake Monsters tearing and combining.

Eventually, forming a nine-headed... serpent?
