After Luna appeared, the actions on Gu Xi’s side noticeably relaxed.

Luna’s appearance meant Gu Xi regained his confidence.

In Gu Xi’s eyes, the three Daoists before him were already dead.

”Bite them to death.”

Under Gu Xi’s command, the hellhounds that had followed Luna simultaneously charged up the city wall.

At this moment, the three Daoists had just landed on the city wall; facing Gu Xi’s obstruction earlier had been very stressful for them.

Initially, they thought Gu Xi was just a pushover, but even under various seals, the means he could deploy exceeded their imagination.

They were unexpectedly suppressed by Gu Xi’s two Death Incarnations, especially Death Incarnation - Death God, who was single-handedly oppressing two Daoists with multiple weapons.

The two Daoists barely managed to dodge using flying swords, occasionally launching attacks.

But judging by their attack methods, they simply had no way to harm Death Incarnation - Death God.

As for Death Incarnation-Titan, it wasn’t idle either, constantly hurling various lightning from the rear.

Each strike would disrupt the actions of the three Daoists.

It was clear that the three Daoists were close-range magic system professionals.

Among them, the shortest range belonged to the one holding the gourd.

He had to charge within a thirty-meter distance before unleashing the flames from the gourd.

So he was the most unfortunate one; he kept flying forward, yet due to various attacks, he retreated, unable to launch effective attacks anyway.

On the contrary, the other two — one could transform vines into a long whip for attacks, reaching at least fifty meters, and the other had a white banner emitting white light, with a range of about a hundred meters.

Their attacks could reach the city wall and even come close to hitting Gu Xi.

But all were suppressed by the two Death Incarnations under Gu Xi’s command.

No matter how they attacked, they couldn’t harm Gu Xi in the slightest.

Now, Gu Xi’s forces emerged from the water, naturally changing the situation.

Seeing such a situation, the two Death Incarnations immediately locked onto one enemy.

Death Incarnation - Death God stepped forward, charging towards the Daoist holding the white banner.

This Daoist was the strongest, and the white banner in his hand was the strongest magical treasure, incredibly tricky, capable of unexpected mischief.

So he must be dealt with first.

Thus, as the first hellhound charged out on the city wall, Death Incarnation - Death God advanced a step, slashing at the Daoist with his scythe.

With this slash, Death Incarnation - Death God initiated Death Reaping.

The Daoist’s level was only Level 10, whereas Death Incarnation - Death God’s level was now Level 17.

In such a situation, the success rate of Death Reaping was quite high.

With that slash, the Daoist’s soul was dragged away by Death Incarnation - Death God, and the Daoist halted in mid-air before plunging into the lake.

As the Daoist’s corpse hit the water, a three-hundred-meter-long flood dragon surged from beneath the lake.

The scales on the dragon’s body sported two different colors, red and blue; emerging from underwater, its gaping mouth promptly swallowed the falling Daoist’s body.

Faced with this, Gu Xi was speechless.

He knew this flood dragon was the demon dragon he came over to protect.

Yet being protected, can you not trouble me by staying securely underwater?

I managed to take down an enemy, and you come over to snatch the corpse, risking being accidentally hurt.

After all, I still can’t figure out who my enemy is here; you are too close, and I fear I might mistake you for an enemy.

Gu Xi, gazing at the flood dragon, raised his hand.

The flood dragon was also at Level 10, so when the three Daoists appeared, it remained concealed underwater.

Now, as it leapt out, Gu Xi had to take some precautions.

Thankfully, the flood dragon showed no intention of attacking Gu Xi; after swallowing a Daoist’s corpse, it quickly dove back into the lake, disappearing at the bottom.

Only after the flood dragon vanished did Gu Xi lower his raised hand, and the hellhounds around him also lifted their heads, no longer staring at the lake’s surface.

Taking this opportunity, Gu Xi’s two Death Incarnations charged at the remaining two Daoists.

After losing a companion, those two Daoists were affected in their morale, and the thought of fleeing arose simultaneously in their hearts.

Just then, Guo Yuanxin’s voice again rang from the sky.

”Blessed in the name of White Bone, awaken allied vitality, multiply allied combat prowess!”

Then, two beams of white light descended from the sky, landing upon the two Daoists.

The white light fell upon the two Daoists, their eyes turning scarlet, muscles swelling, levels rising quickly.

In just a few seconds, their levels reached 19; if Level 20 weren’t a larger milestone, they might have produced an aura, stepping into the level 20 realm.

Even so, this was very strong.

Of course, forcibly elevated levels bring a multitude of problems, not to mention whether these two Daoists can effectively utilize such levels.

The White Bone Obelisk’s enhancement lasts only fifteen minutes.

After fifteen minutes, regardless of the outcome, these two Daoists face only death.

Guo Yuanxin is gambling now.

Gambling that Level 19 is Gu Xi’s limit, that within fifteen minutes, the Level 19 duo can kill Gu Xi’s Death Incarnation, then conveniently slay Gu Xi.

Yet Guo Yuanxin felt unease in his heart.

He sensed something was amiss.

He seriously thought, eventually slapping his forehead.

”Damn, how could I forget this common sense.”

If a Death Incarnation dies, as long as the Undead Mage controlling the Death Incarnation still has mana, he can use all his mana to summon the Death Incarnation again.

In other words, Gu Xi needs only to deploy the Death Incarnation quickly, and when enemies approach him, he can use the Death Incarnation to block the two Daoists.

It’s just a matter of delaying time.

It seems I can’t stay here anymore.

Guo Yuanxin gritted his teeth, turned his gaze to the White Bone Obelisk over there.

Looks like he’ll need to act personally.

Thus, he knelt before the White Bone Obelisk once more.

”Blessed in the name of White Bone, seek the power of white bone in me, aid me in being invincible in the world!”

With Guo Yuanxin’s bow, the phantom of the White Bone Obelisk entered his body.

Subsequently, the silver armor he wore swiftly transformed into a set of gray-white bone armor.

Leveraging the third trait of the White Bone Obelisk, Guo Yuanxin’s level temporarily broke through his upper limit, advancing to Level 19.
