Three Towers Game

The bunker is holding a funeral for two great figures.

When Wen Xishu returned, it was early morning. The Academy Spirit very considerately delivered a hot towel for his face, and Wen Xishu noticed the white flower pinned to the Academy Spirit’s attire.

”Congratulations on completing another exploration. How were your gains this time?”

Wen Xishu’s gains this time were considerable.

At this moment, he had a feather with him, but couldn’t see the Academy Spirit’s name. Here was the Deceit Tower Academy, a place that could harness the power of Deceit Tower.

Here, you could even use murder soccer and items with handles.

But Wen Xishu scrutinized the feather for a while and truly couldn’t feel its power.

It seemed the use of the feather was strictly limited.

”The gains are considerable. Academy Spirit, is the Headmaster in the bunker now? I have some matters to report to him. If possible, please help me contact Lady Evelyn. But don’t contact William, Matthew, and Luo Feng for now. Oh, and we must also call Senior Xun Hui and Senior Wenren Mirror; lives are at stake, it’s very urgent.”

The Academy Spirit realized there was something very important to discuss.

”Please proceed to the Garden Forbidden Land of Desire Tower Academy, I will contact them shortly, they will be waiting for you there.”

Wen Xishu nodded.

Soon, the Academy Spirit left.

After the Academy Spirit departed, Wen Xishu took out the feather.

The feather still glimmered with a rainbow sheen.

”It seems it’s not usable just anywhere that meets the conditions for Deceit Tower items... strictly speaking, it’s not a Deceit Tower artifact.”

”It’s an external item.”

”In that case, can it only be used in the true Land of Obsession, that is, within the proper Deceit Tower hierarchy?”

Wen Xishu actually had two more invitations.

But he wasn’t sure of the nature of the invitations, or whether they could be considered as part of the Land of Obsession.

The Land of Obsession is a bizarre domain formed by the obsessions of countless souls during doomsday. Each mission is essentially helping some people resolve their obsessions.

Having obtained this feather, Wen Xishu naturally hoped to use it to hunt some high-end targets.

But unfortunately, the feather’s usage scenarios were extremely stringent.

”If I use this feather to kill a target not in an Obsession Scene... like Sagittarius? Is this feasible?”

Intuition told Wen Xishu it was not feasible.

”Because the feather requires me to kill at least seven people once I start using it.”

”This doesn’t seem like a restriction... it doesn’t even mean anything, as I know way more than seven enemies.”

”But if it’s limited to the people within the Deceit Tower scene from this tower climb... what if there aren’t seven people in the Deceit Tower.”

Wen Xishu could envision the consequences of being backfired upon by a death realm artifact, which would certainly be death itself.

Up to now, he indeed had experienced scenarios without seven people.

For example, in Tang Rui’s Land of Obsession.

To kill seven people in Tang Rui’s Land of Obsession... plus, if the guess about scene restrictions were true, it would mean this thing could only kill one’s own people.

Undoubtedly, the feather is a divine artifact, but upon careful interpretation, it reveals a sinister vibe.

”Better be safe... I need to prepare according to my worst-case assumption.”

Wen Xishu had an idea in mind, but for now, he couldn’t immediately climb the tower.

...

...

The Bunker, Garden Forbidden Land of Desire Tower Academy.

The Academy Spirit worked efficiently; he first contacted Albert, then Albert reached Evelyn and Xun Hui. Xun Hui then contacted Wenren Mirror.

Not long after, the Garden Forbidden Land became lively again.

When Wen Xishu arrived, everyone was already waiting for him.

He couldn’t help but praise the Academy Spirit’s remarkable efficiency; having such a personal butler was indeed a fantastic experience.

No one indulged in small talk; the Academy Spirit emphasized that it was a matter of grave importance.

Albert then found a very fitting opening, saying:

”I had a dream. In it, you emphasized that we must hold funerals for Old Jin and Liu Zhizai, to let everyone know their greatness, to celebrate and mourn them... Little Tree, was this dream merely a coincidence?”

”I don’t think I’m someone who mourns others; I don’t quite like hosting large funerals.”

”But this dream was too strange, giving me a very familiar feeling. How can I put it— the dream’s tone felt like it was from old friends who had passed away, sending me messages in my dreams.”

Upon hearing Albert’s words, Evelyn finally understood. Initially, she was the one who requested the funeral, with Albert also agreeing, but after it was held, Albert wanted another one.

Now, she wholly comprehended.

Wen Xishu nodded, the old Headmaster was reliable:

”Headmaster, thank you so much, indeed I sent you that dream. What I’m about to say... might seem very bizarre to you.”

”To put it simply, I’ve been to the Underworld.”

Everyone was startled.

Wenren Mirror remarked:

”Your adventures are... truly distinctive.”

Albert said:

”Do tell us more, you visited the Underworld because you met Old Jin and Liu Zhizai?”

Wen Xishu shook his head:

”I will tell you everything I know... but you might think it profane, yet I assure you, what I’m saying is true.”

Then, Wen Xishu began recounting in detail what he encountered.

Including the encounter with the Wen Family.

Since, from Wen Tingyun’s revelation, Wen Xishu was sure that the Wen Family’s demise wasn’t simple; the Wen Family had committed certain deeds with a sense of tragic solemnity and purpose.
