Three Towers Game

Albert had become an old bachelor, but a very cool old bachelor.

Yue Yun was a basketball player, while Nissen was a DJ.

This dream ended quickly.

Wen Xishu opened his eyes…

He had been on the fortieth floor of the Deceit Tower for twenty-seven hours.

He had only slept for three hours.

Usually, upon entering the world of the Deceit Tower, Wen Xishu could grasp the essence within just a few hours.

But now, after almost thirty hours, he was trapped in a boundless space… starting to doubt and deny himself.

Finally, Wen Xishu took out the Horn of Competition.

He hadn’t gone mad yet, but was in poor mental condition, as the environment itself seemed to contain some kind of unsettling power.

Wen Xishu quickly calmed himself down.

”Dismiss those distractions, don’t rush… don’t rush, calm down.”

”I am sure I can solve the puzzle.”

”The current situation is that I have received a question, and I need to solve it, but the strange thing is, the question is not written, it’s just a piece of infinitely large blank paper laid out.”

”I keep looking on the blank paper for where the question might be, since I have to know the question to solve it.”

”But the more I search, the more I feel like… how can this paper be so vast? This blank paper, which should have the question written on it, seems infinite in size.”

”To the point where I wonder if a question really exists.”

Wen Xishu slapped his face with a loud smack.

”With my constitution, even waiting here for seven days wouldn’t matter. So there’s no rush…”

Since he couldn’t find the question, he might as well write a question on the blank paper himself.

As Wen Xishu thought about this, he used the Horn of Competition. Upon touching the Horn of Competition.

Wen Xishu only felt a sacred aura pour into his body. Then, the following words appeared in his mind.

[This round’s competition is: Hero vs. Demon King. The ”Demon King” has been constructed and will hunt the Hero, having the ability to sense the Hero’s position and willing to chase without regard to cost.]

[Hero’s winning method one: Evade the Demon King for over seventy-two hours.]

[Hero’s winning method two: Imprison the Demon King.]

[Hero’s winning method three: Kill the Demon King.]

[The rewards will relate to the method of victory, with the greatest reward for killing the Demon King.]

[The event begins. All creatures within this round’s Obsession World are eligible to participate.]

[Due to the holder possessing the ”Golden Horn,” you will gain competitive advantage.]

[Competitive Assistance: Compared to other contestants, you will be able to see through the Demon King’s perspective.]

Wen Xishu was amused.

Alright, now there’s a question on the blank paper, no matter how vast you make it or where you hide the question…

Now it’s not my sole task to solve anymore.

At least now, in this space, I’m not alone anymore.

Even though there’s an enemy now, as long as I’m not alone, Wen Xishu felt his mental state significantly improve.

Especially since Wen Xishu also noticed that he could now actively initiate a new skill.

Demon King Vision.

”Looks like once activated, whatever the Demon King can see, I can see too?”

Wen Xishu decided to give it a try.

He closed his eyes, and after a short while, a peculiar energy began to appear on him, turning into a faint purple aura.

Wen Xishu opened his eyes.

His pupils changed, becoming vertical slits like those of a beast.

And the scene in his eyes was no longer pitch black.

Instead, it was endless magma.

Countless human contours, yet appearing somewhat phantom-like and transparent like ghosts, wailing incessantly in the magma.

The Demon King should be flying in the sky.

The Demon King seemed quite intelligent, quickly furrowing its brows:

”Hell? Damn it, why did I end up here?”

Wen Xishu was very curious about the level of this Demon King created by the Horn of Competition.

It could actually recognize at a glance that this was Hell?

”Damn it, to use the Horn of Competition in such a place, launching an event. How can a dead person use something like this?”

”No… could it be that a living person has come to the realm of the dead?”

As the Demon King thought about this, it felt fear itself.

”Have today’s Challengers become so extreme?”

The sea of fire formed by magma, boiling countless wronged souls. This sight indeed very much resembled Hell.

The Demon King dodged the lava several times, its movements incredibly agile.

Although Wen Xishu couldn’t see from a third-person perspective, he could feel the speed of the Demon King through the shift in space in the first-person view.

Not long after, at the Red House level.

Wen Xishu figured that since he couldn’t get out anyway, he might as well see how the Demon King would unfold the situation.

The current scene depicted a massive circular ”magma pool.”

At the top of the sky were entities resembling an array. After some observation, the Demon King didn’t charge straight away.

What followed was an operation that left Wen Xishu dumbfounded.

In the Demon King’s vision, some words appeared.

[Activate Space Deconstruction?]

This was similar to how words often floated in Wen Xishu’s vision - whether to use the Mad Dice.

This Demon King had this kind of capability?

It’s undeniable that in the event created by Taurus, the Demon King had a lot of weight.

This was not an event concocted by the Land of Obsession, but purely a one constructed by Taurus.

In other words - the house was very strong.

[Space Deconstruction in progress - Number of participants: 1.]

[Distance from participant - infinite. Space dimension varies.]

[Current area analysis: Lava Hell, a type of elemental hell. It is recommended to leave the hell area as soon as possible. You may try to use blood to leave this area.]

Incredible.

Wen Xishu could only say, damn, you’re cheating, aren’t you?

How can this be played?

To forcibly decode space and even directly obtain the distance to the contestant?

You’re already a Demon King, and you’re still hacking? This is akin to crushing with attributes while also overwhelming technologically.

Wen Xishu really wanted to say: Close it, it’s meaningless.

But he had to admit, he’s relying solely on the Demon King now. The Demon King provided quite a bit of information.

”The Demon King being assigned to Hell makes sense. Now the Demon King’s task is to escape Hell.”

”But what’s my task?”

”The only textual hint is that the Demon King and I are not in the same space, so the distance between us is infinitely far…”

”In other words, I indeed wasted a day… no matter how far I go, I can’t meet the Demon King.”

”The area I’m in might really be an infinite space.”

”But why?”

Wen Xishu began to piece together all the clues.

”I am a living person.”

”For a living person to enter the world of the dead, there’s only one way, and that is to die.”

”But because of the Deceit Tower, I can enter the world of the dead as a living person.”

”The Deceit Tower is part of the Land of Obsession, the Land of Obsession can create countless rules…”

”But the rules of life and death are absolute. If the absolution of life and death is broken… it would be like Dragon Ball, and nobody would suffer upon death.”

Wen Xishu loved Dragon Ball, but when he watched Dragon Ball, it was indeed just excitement and passion, without any emotion.

After all, anyone who died could be resurrected.

The cost of death was just wearing a halo, and otherwise, there seemed to be no difference from the living.

Even a dead person could fight Demon Buu.

He thought of the unspoken sadness of Albert. Mr. Jin’s death, the deaths of countless Tower Climbers in the Bunker…

These were unchangeable. And precisely because death is an absolute farewell, everyone treasures living so much.

The obsession of the Land of Obsession only transported itself to the place closest to the dead…

But it was not truly the world of the dead. No matter how strong the obsession of the Obsession World is, even the Constellations must obey…

But such an obsession is difficult to break the barrier of life and death. Those so-called resurrections happen only at the moment of death, not long after dying when people are brought back to life.

”This is the junction of life and death. There is endless space here, causing every living person to become lost, and only after dying… perhaps can one truly enter.”

”In other words, I can’t enter.”

”But surely the Deceit Tower has a correction mechanism, right? If a level is blocked at the door… the Deceit Tower couldn’t possibly not fix it, right?”

Upon recalling the task description he saw not long ago, it was clear the Deceit Tower seemed certain it could get the Tower Climbers into the world of the dead.

But how should that be done?

This utterly dark and boundless chaotic world is just a wall; if you cross this wall, you can enter the world of the dead.

Wen Xishu suddenly thought:

”Wait a minute… If I can’t enter the world of the dead, why can the Horn of Competition from Taurus?”

”The environment where the Demon King is, is the Lava Hell, that place, no matter how you look at it… seems to be where the dead reside.”

Wen Xishu began to ponder again:

”What’s the difference between me and the Demon King?”
