Three Towers Game

Wen Xishu, being a premium player, enjoyed the benefits of the initial top-up of 648, granting him a straightforward answer. Just as he was about to inquire about the details—

The coachman said:

”Honorable VVIP, due to your support of the inn, I will explain based on the name of your world from when you were alive. Do you need to go to the timeline of the Evil Land period?”

”Or do you require a timeline from the Three Towers period? Of course, something even more ancient is possible.”

This truly astonished Wen Xishu; the service was so attentive. But at the same time, he became cautious.

”You... are certain I come from the Evil Land.”

The coachman smiled, and on his starry head, countless stars gathered, emitting a dazzling light:

”You don’t need to worry, no matter how many secrets you had in life, or how many cross-dimensional violations you committed... now that you’re dead, all sins are erased, you weren’t assigned to the Lower Spirit District, but even to the Upper Spirit District, indicating you were a good person.”

”In addition, in the Netherworld, you are quite wealthy, you are now without sin.”

Wow, even the Netherworld’s coachmen have such insight? Such vast knowledge? Wen Xishu couldn’t help but ask:

”Why is the Evil Land called the Evil Land?”

”It’s an extraordinary place because people from other worlds, when their own world is on the brink of collapse... would go to the Evil Land to seek external aid. But this aid often brings enormous chaos, over time, the place got named Evil Land.”

This is quite reasonable.

But Wen Xishu immediately realized an underlying issue.

Am I truly a Transmigrator? According to the coachman, when the world was teetering, someone sought external aid…

Then who was the one seeking external aid?

Capricorn? The only thing Wen Xishu could think of was that Capricorn could smuggle across borders.

But he felt that it was unlikely Capricorn, and why would it be him? Furthermore, who orchestrated the Mad Dice?

Wen Xishu thought of Wen Chaohua.

The feeling this man gave him, increasingly complex.

At the same time, Wen Xishu had another question:

”I hope before departing, you could answer one question for me. Your Netherworld, divides many worlds based on timelines...”

”Including what I understand as the future hundreds of years later? People die hundreds of years later too, right?”

The coachman said:

”Of course. Now, aren’t you like a person traveling from the future to the past? In the Netherworld, there is no future, only districts, time for us is more like space.”

Wen Xishu was shocked by this answer.

He suddenly realized something crucial.

In the timeline he was in, he hadn’t died, Albert hadn’t died, but what about a hundred years later?

If he went forward a hundred years... would he encounter the spirit of himself a hundred years later?

You haven’t died now, but that doesn’t mean you won’t die in the future.

Wen Xishu directly asked this question:

”I really just died not long ago, if according to what you say... can I immediately go to the area where my friends who have yet to die reside?”

”Can I immediately reunite with them?”

This is like if someone died today, they would be separated from their friends. But as long as they take the time carriage, go to the Netherworld district decades later, they can immediately meet their friends there.

If this operation is possible, then it’s almost as if you can encounter your already-dead self.

In that moment, Wen Xishu suddenly had a goal.

Unexpectedly, the coachman first nodded, then shook his head:

”Unfortunately, what you said is theoretically possible. But due to the rule of lifespan time difference, you cannot immediately reunite with your friends.”

Wen Xishu was puzzled:

”What do you mean? What is lifespan time difference?”

The coachman said:

”Honorable VVIP, I will answer all your questions, but allow me to give a simple example. Say my friend died in 2000, and I died in 2050.”

”Then my friend would be assigned to the Netherworld district of 2000, the districts are divided by year, he can also go to the 2050 district... but he must stay in the 2000 district for 50 years.”

”It works the other way too, whether traveling forwards or backwards, say I died in 2050, I wanted to travel to 2000, the backward difference is 50 years, I also must wait to stay for 50 years.”

Wen Xishu was silent for a moment.

Understood.

After death, people would be assigned to fixed time districts, the time in the Netherworld is more like space... those who died in 2000 would live in the world of 2000, this world won’t change, time is merely a number.

If you stay for a year, you can go to the world of 2001, or the world of 1999.

If you stay for a hundred years, you can go to the world of 2100, or the world of 1900.

Wen Xishu couldn’t help but admire the Transmigrators he saw in the snack street earlier...

They probably stayed in their world for thousands of years to be able to cross to the ancient Netherworld. Of course, as the saying goes, there’s no modern or ancient in the Netherworld.

This concept made Wen Xishu feel quite reasonable.

[You suddenly realized, you’ve just arrived in the Netherworld for a few hours, you seem to only be able to go to the world a few hours before, and a few hours after. But what’s more absurd is, you haven’t actually died, you merely fell into this world, the world of the dead, has no place for you.]
